    You can only download content(other than podcast episodes) from a country's iTunes Store if you're in that country. For paid content, you also need to supply a payment method valid in that country.

    I'm having problems purchasing music and free applications from Itunes using the Itouch. It keeps asking for password, which I'm putting in. I've tested it by purchasing from Itunes on desktop computer and it works.

    They will only be on your computer's iTunes if you put them there. If you are in a country where you can re-download music then they should show under the Purchased Link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes. If they don't show there then you can connect your phone to your computer's iTunes and do File > Devices > Transfer Purchases to copy them over.

    The state will most likely be Israel. Different countries accept different credit cards, and I cannot tell you what is acceptable in Israel.

  • My music will not sync to my iPhone from iTunes. Why does it say I need more space?

    My iPhone and iTunes are all synced up to date as of June 7th. I went to sync my music library. I checked to only sync my selected songs (approximately 1200). It worked fine earlier this week before I updated iTunes. I went to add another 10-20 songs today, and it didn't work. It said I need an additional 4.77 GB of data. I have 2 GB available still on my 16 GB phone, which is more than enough for the 10-20 songs. I updated iTunes after this occurred but I still have the same problem. When I check my music on my phone, no playlists show up but y music and artists are the same as before, minus the new music i added to my iTunes. On a side note, the extra space it's saying I need is about the size of the current music on my phone; it seems to be asking to sync it twice?

    It sounds like youre being prompted that there is not enough space. I would use the following article to help resolve the issue named:
    iOS: "Not enough free space" alert when trying to sync

    Try disconnecting and reconnecting your device, then syncing again to solve this issue.
    Orphaned files may remain on your iOS device if it is physically disconnected while syncing music, podcasts, videos, or photos. This can prevent iTunes from syncing the iOS device on subsequent sync sessions. When this happens, the Capacity indicator in iTunes may report a large amount of "Other" disk usage for the iOS device. To resolve this issue:
    Turn off the music or photo sync option in iTunes for the device.
    Click Apply to sync the changes to the device.
    Turn the music and photo sync options for the device on again.
    Click Apply again to try to sync the device to iTunes.
    If the 'Not enough free space' alert appears, continue to step 5.
    Turn off the automatic syncing functions for the iOS device. To do this:
    Select the iOS device from the iTunes window and click the Summary tab.
    Deselect "Automatically sync when this device is connected" and select the "Sync only checked songs and videos" checkbox.
    Click Apply to sync the changes to the device.
    Reduce the amount of data that is being synced to the device and resync the device. For example, if syncing your Music library exceeds the memory capacity of the device, choose "Selected playlists" to transfer rather than "All songs and playlists" under the Music tab in iTunes.
    If the 'Not enough free space' alert appears, continue to step 6.
    Restore using iTunes.

    i am trying to purchase songs from itunes and am not able to do so. i uninstalled itunes and reinstalled it and i'm getting the same message. the currency value for every song is in "Kr" rather than the US "$". can someone help me out here? thanks!

  • Can't purchase from iTunes since OS 10.3.9 Update

    Ever since I updated my OS to 10.3.9, my iTunes 4.9 gives me an error message when I try to purchase a song. The error message reads, you must have version 6.0 to purchase this song but I can't upgrade since my G3 is running at 400 mHz. Help!!

    This might happen if you accessed your iTMS account through iTunes 6.x once.
    In this case prior versions are refused when trying to buy music.
    As a workaround you may create a new account using iTunes 4.9.
    Several iTMS IDs will coexist in a single iTunes library.

    I just reset my password for my Apple ID and now am not allowed to purchase from the Store!  I get the message that
    this Apple ID is now allowed to purchase at this time.  What the heck???  My last purchase with my previous password,
    same ID, was on the 12th of this month.

    If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then the steps half-way down this page give you a reset link on your account : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312
    If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple in your country to get the questions reset.
    Contacting Apple about account security : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699
    When they've been reset (and if you don't already have a rescue email address) you can then use the steps half-way down the HT5312 link above to add a rescue email address for potential future use
