Hi I think i was charged twice for an apple itunes music album purchase 8/16 and 8/17. for $14.97. Please help

  • Consistantly charged twice for purchases in iTunes , why is this allowed?

    Four instances total, and in each instance iTunes directed me to an updated TOS agreement. I checked the agreement, then navigated back to the store only to find being twiced charged for the same download.
    Windows Vista, iTunes 8.1.1.10, fresh install...
    Not once or twice, but four time now, why does this happen? why is there no warning box? Wouldn't be common sense to warn when thru either user error or software bug the same product is being purchased repeatedly?
    Maybe some people want to pay twice for the same thing, but I imagine most would rather not be charged repeatedly for items.
    I guess there is no way to remove these erroneous charges, since I can't find any sort of method of aborting the download.
    This has happened in the past, and I've blown it off as a fluke. But now with a fresh install of the newest software, I can't make a single purchase without being charged twice.
    A fresh reinstall and a brand new reformatted drive also.
    Thank you for any insight you may have.

    Can someone please tell me why when  i order an app on my sons ipod, do I get charged twice for it?   When I tried do report a problem with the charge, it said that I can not get a refund on that item.   This is the second time this has happened to me.   Does it have anything to do with having more then one ipod linked to the same account?   Thanks for any help you can give me!!!

    It has nothing to do with have more than one device using that account.
    After you purchase it once, you redownload it on other devices by the following, not like purchasing a new app.
    Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
    If you really got charged twice for purchases the same app twice with the same account contact iTunes again by:
    Apple - Support - iTunes - Contact Us
    Make sure that they are really the same app first.

    Back in 02/2012 I was charged twice for "Kingdoms at War" , 200 Nobility points, A thinking Ape. I didn't order this. I have changed my password twice. I just updated my account info to use ITunes for downloading music and a charge for $39.98 was taken from my account for this again. In researching this, it appears that "Kingdoms at War" is a free app. . . so someone must have accessed my account to purchase gold. . . or ITunes erred. How do I get this resolved? I would like to use ITunes without being forced to pay this $39.98.
