HT3702 I have almost $60 charged on my credit card and I did not make a purchase. Support is very difficult with Apple.
I am very frustrated and find it difficult to get the answers that I need. Again, I just recently got my credit card bill. On the bill were to charges from itunes, of which I am not responsible for. There is roughly $60 charged to my credit card, charges I did not make. Could someone from apple please contact me. Could someone please help me to correct this error?

I have received charges on my credit card from ITunes for amounts that I have not made. There are 6 different purches on 3 different days. One day the two amounts were 20.95 and 20.96. The previous day the amounts were both 109.99. The day before that they were 139.99 and 99.99. I have tried to contact ITunes, but no answer. I have had the same problem with a credit card that I have never used at Apple. The amount was $21.23 and was described "MC Authorization 00112507 APL*APPLEITUNES STORE 2010-04-07 12.31.59" Apple's email help desk couldn't help me because the card isn't one of my stored cards. I was told to contact my bank.
It seems to me that somewhere in AppleLand there is a record of the charge which is still pending. I don't want to go through the hassle of changing cards. -

Dissapointed with apple itunes account
Update.... After a 24 hour e-mail delay, itunes cancelled my subscription with netflix and refunded my money. Itunes also asked me to resubscribe to netfix through them. I called Netfix and had my subsription started again in less than 2 minutes not using itunes. It was so nice being able to talk to someone on the phone with instant satisfaction. Sorry itunes, with today's technology there is no excuse for e-mail delays.

I have two Apple accounts the one on my I phone and computer are the same the one on my mini i pad is different I have credit on my mini i pad however, when I purchase an App or movie I am charged on my credit card and the $40:00 worth of I Tune cards is by passed I have tried to change the mini i pad account details to be the same as my computer and original apple i.d.account however, it will not allow me to do I have tried to reset the mini i pad but not all the way to factory otherwise I would loose all my data. I have visited a genuis bench at Fountain gate however, they tell me I need to ring apple support which I will do on the next working day.
You are going to need to change the email address you use with your old ID. Once you have got access to your old account you will then log into both accounts at the same time on your Mac and transfer your data to a single account. We can do this later, but need you to get access to your old account first.

I have two small charges on my credit card from iTunes store and I would like to find out what they are. The number listed is a recording and tells me to come to the website for answers. There is no sign of any purcases in my itunes store. Where can I get a person to talk to from I tunes? Has any one had this happen to them?
Look at you purchase history.
Open itunes, click on your name in the top right corner and go to your account and look.
BTW, there is no telephone support for itunes at all. -

If you update your billing information, the iTunes Store will place an authorization hold on your payment card account, usually in the amount of 1 USD, to verify your account information. It will be credited back to your account later.

Have you added or changed your credit card details on your iTunes account ? If you have then each time that you do so a small temporary store holding charge may be applied to check that the card details are correct and valid and that it's registered to exactly the same name and address as on your iTunes account - it should disappear off your account within a few days or so.

First, if you're using an iOS device, make sure that you did not inadvertently make an in-app purchase. Many apps, particularly games, are free for the base game but charge for additional features such as levels, "coins" and other such add-ons. Check your Purchase History to see if that reminds you as to what you might have purchased:

If you find that these were in-app purchases, to prevent this from happening again, turn off "In App purchases" in the Restrictions settings on your device. For more information, see:

As to a refund, that's not automatic since the terms of sale for the iTunes Store state that all sales are final. You can contact the iTunes Store, explain the reason for your request, and ask, though:

They're usually pretty lenient in the case of inadvertent purchases, but there are no guarantees.
If the charges are not in-app purchases that you made and forgot but the charges do appear in your Purchase History, contact the iTunes Store and let them know. You should also immediately change your password for your Apple ID. If the charges don't appear in your Purchase History, they were probably fake charges made directly to your credit card, and your card issuer will need to handle those.

My back and forward buttons do not work also the refresh button does not work, I have reloaded the latest version of fire fox and that did not help. I have opened my account on my credit card and there has been 3 payments go from my account. 17.49 and then day before 5.49 and 4 days before 4.99. Really annoyed that apple can let this happen and letting app makers con people by doing this.
