HT3702 i have charges to my credit card

when i check my account it says i have no purchases but i am getting charges from i tunes  when i try and call i get automated service that wants to chage me  is there a live person i can talk to?

    I have the same thing happening on both my credit cards! I first noticed random charges on my bank statement, but, the funny thing is that on the same statement I was credited back for the charges so everything cancelled out. I still wanted to change my credit card to be safe and my card wouldn't work with iTunes anyway (I emailed Apple and they said my account was compromised). I also changed my Apple ID password.
    So I got my new credit card and now looking back at my statement for the month, the day that I added the new card onto iTunes was the same day I got more preauthorized charges. The amounts were exactly the same as on my previous credit card. I don't know what to do anymore. Is this a problem on Apple's end?

    You haven't got any auto-renewing subscriptions (I'm not sure if they show on the purchase history or not, I don't have any so I can't check) - there are instructions on this page for managing and stopping them : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4098
    And have you added or changed your credit card details on your iTunes account ? If you have then each time that you do so a small temporary store holding charge may be applied to check that the card details are correct and valid and that it's registered to exactly the same name and address as on your iTunes account - it should disappear off your account within a few days or so.

    But here's the thing: I've seen the charges on my credit card, with no reversal or credit.  Just repetitive charges.  Checking my itunes purchase history shows no such purchases.
    I'm not really looking for an explanation because I don't think there is one other than Apple is inappropriately charging my credit card.  Rather, I'm just looking for guidance on how best to go about resolving the dispute.  Who should I contact at what address/number?
    Anyone remember when Bill and MS were the big bad guys, and the mantra was "don't be evil" ... <s>, they seem like the "good old days" ...

    Did you follow the instructions in the message and contact Apple, which you can do through iTunes Store Support. If Apple have asked you to contact them, then the issue can only be resolved by them.

    Best to contact your bank if you do not have an iTunes account my friend. They will not be able to find anything if again, you do not have an account. They will not have any basis what so ever or ways in locating the charges if there is no account to start with. Your bank will be better in communicating to iTunes about this.

  • HT3702 I have almost $60 charged on my credit card and I did not make a purchase.  Support is very difficult with Apple.

    I am very frustrated and find it difficult to get the answers that I need.  Again, I just recently got my credit card bill.  On the bill were to charges from itunes, of which I am not responsible for.  There is roughly $60 charged to my credit card, charges I did not make.  Could someone from apple please contact me. Could someone please help me to correct this error?

I have visited a genuis bench at Fountain gate however, they tell me I need to ring apple support which I will do on the next working day.

    You are going to need to change the email address you use with your old ID. Once you have got access to your old account you will then log into both accounts at the same time on your Mac and transfer your data to a single account. We can do this later, but need you to get access to your old account first.

    Look at you purchase history.
    Open itunes, click on your name in the top right corner and go to your account and look.
    BTW, there is no telephone support for itunes at all.
