I've only bought free apps, but charges are showing up. What should I do?

The apps may be free to download, but some of them allow you to make in-app purchases within them to unlock extra features. You've checked the purchase history on your account (Store > View My Account, Store > View My Apple ID on iTunes 11, menu option on your computer's iTunes) or have any auto-renewing subscriptions ? If not and you haven't made any in-app purchased then you can contact iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

    If you were paying for BT Premium email you would need to cancel it if you no longer want it. It will not automatically be cancelled when you become a BT customer. Call BT on 0800 111 4567.  
    Before doing that make sure that the email address is linked to your BT Broadband account. See link how to do that.

  • Being forced to merge accounts when using Windows ...

    I have been starting to explore Windows 8 and decided I should install Skype.  Naturally I discovered very quickly that there is an App and thought, great, but how wrong could I have been.  It is completely un-useable because I do not want to merge my skype account with my Microsoft live account(for numerous reasons).  I agree that some services being merged are very handy however in this case I feel it is a very bad idea if "Microsoft" can't stop hotmail accounts from being hacked how on earth can they stop your live id from being hacked.
    Now lets roll the clocks back quite a bit.  Microsoft were instructed by the international courts that it was "illegal" to force any user to have to use only their browser and give them a choice. Surely this is along the same lines. You are being forced to do something that you don't want to do to continue to use a service on their operating system.
    I personally keep my skype account linked to a specific email account for many reasons and give me the ability to keep my identity private and from certain people.
    I should and you should not have to fight to get your accounts unlinked and from what I have read many of you are having troubles doing this.

    I have messed around with this, and unfortunately the app seems to not be able to be unlinked... 
    That being said: I've found a personal solution in that I can use Skype desktop (which works perfectly well in W8, just not as a tile app). 
    And for the poeple saying "why dont you just join it"...
    I think it's important to understand the context here:
    I have two work skype identities [that I need] and a personal identity.
    I wouldn't mind the personal identity syncing up, but i NEED to be able to operate skype in separation from my user account.
    So - to recap: use skype desktop. It works, although it's a workaround, not a solution.
    Could someone from Skype please respond as to the plans on this?

    Hi Tiffany, one way that could happen is if you went to the http://donate.mozilla.org website and filled out the donation form. I see a $3 option there. But since I believe you'd clearly remember that, something else must've happened.
    I can only guess someone stole your credit card information and used it to make the donation. Or maybe if you have kids/husband/boyfriend, one of them used your credit card info without your permission?
    Anyway, regardless of how it happened that's not cool. And I especially hate overdraft fees. I'll forward this request to the higher ups and they'll reach out to you to get this sorted out.
    I can't do anything myself as I'm just a volunteer. But Mozilla's products are free to use so you weren't charged for using Firefox.

    You might see such authorization requests  on your online statement. These requests are not actual charges;  they are  tests to confirm that your payment card account is active and has available funds to accommodate transactions. Authorization holds are removed by your financial institution shortly after your purchase clears. The amount of time it takes to remove authorization requests varies by financial institution.
    To review the actual charges on your account, you may review your iTunes Purchase History. You will be prompted to enter your iTunes account name and password. Note that Mac App Store web order details can only be seen in the iTunes purchase history. Your Purchase History will display your most recent purchases first.     In other words: the price that is mentioned should be the only thing charged.

    I hope you are right Nancy that it will have updates, but I really doubt it. This is the norm for Microsoft when stuff they put out bombs. Dish Network had a DVR receiver many years ago that had Microsoft software installed and it was buggy to say the least. They updated it a few times but then abandon it. For a few years Microsoft wouldn't release the code to Dish Network to allow DN to fix the bugs. It was a real "Hate Microsoft" time for those users. DN had to put out their own coded DVR receivers and let the Microsoft ones die.
    I think VZ made a deal with MS and removed the stuff MS wasn't supporting. Then VZ put them out without needing a data package to unload them.

    Have you checked the purchase history on your account ? If you log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it. Click on that and you should then see a list of your purchases.

    Issue- System not changing the G/L account when material group is changed in Purchase requistion.
    Process followed:
    1. Create Service Pr with material group 5040 which is assigned to valuation class 3511 and 3511 is assigned to g/l account 51370000
    2. Changed Service PR material group from 5040 to 5050. 5050 is assigned to valuation class 3512 and 3512 is assigned to G/L account 51260000
    The issue is when we changed the material group from 5040 to 5050 system is not picking the g/l account which is assigned to 5050 i.e. 51260000
    instead the g/l remains remains as before which is there for 5040 i.e. 51370000
    Please let me know how can we resolve this problem and pick the correct g/l. Please find the attachments

    if you are using the item category D "Services", explanation from note  663983 - ME22(N), ME52(N): No new G/L account from material group applies:
    Please consider the following:
    You can maintain the material group both at item level and at service line level. If you subsequently change the material group at item level, the material groups remain unchanged in the services. As a result, the G/L account is not redetermined at service line level.
    In order for the G/L account to be redetermined, you must explicitly change the material group in the service line.
