HT3702 iTunes keep taking money out my credit card without me purchasing any item

iTunes keeps taking money out my credit card without permission or without me purchasing any item

The most immediate thing you need to do is to call your credit card company or bank and report the unauthorized charges. That company can contact Apple if they need additional information.
Next, log into your iTunes Store account and see if the purchases are reflected in the Purchase History. If they are, immediately change the password to your iTunes Store account, making sure it's not something easily guessed or looked up. Then go here:
http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/
and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store.
If the charges are not reflected in the Purchase History, then it's most likely a fraudulent charge to your credit card directly rather than an unauthorized purchase through your iTunes Store account in which case it will be up to your bank to handle.
Regards.

  • HT3702 how can i ask them to stop taking money from my credit card without my authorization?

the apple store keeps taking money saying that i buy things from my credit card. i don't know why this is happening. how do i make them stop taking maney without my authorization.

Perhaps you have had your account hacked by someone. Someone you know or a stranger. The first thing is to change the password in your Apple ID so that they cannot continue to buy things with your account. Second, if the None option is available in your iTunes account payment methods, select that and remove the bank card info.

  • Apple Itunes keeps taking money out of my account

I seem to have $1 taken out of my account atleast once a day. It says visa hold..
I tried to ring up apple, but convieniantly it's closed.
How can i stop this. If it keeps happening I want to be re-embursed!

Are you changing your credit card information? If so, then you may get a new hold every time you make a change. You may also get multiple holds if your bank's credit card processor doesn't respond to the iTunes Store quickly enough.
The iTunes Store doesn't have phone support, by the way. If the issue persists, go here:
    iTunes Support
and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store.
    Regards.

  • HT4098 i have turned off auto-renewal for magazine. it's also confirmed in my apple id account setting, but itunes keep taking money from me each month. ***?

i have turned off auto-renewal for magazine. it's also confirmed in my apple id account setting, but itunes keep taking money from me each month. ***? can someone clear me out? i've spending money for nothing!

For what it's worth, you posted this in 2011, and here in 2014 I am still having this same issue. Over the last two days, I have had to unlock my apple account 8 times. I didn't get any new devices. I haven't initiated a password reset. I didn't forget my password. I set up two factor authentication and have been able to do the unlocking with the key and using a code sent to one of my devices.
    That all works.
It's this having to unlock my account every time I go to use any of my devices. And I have many: iMac, iPad, iPad2, iPad mini, iPhone 5s, iPod touch (daughter), and my old iPhone 4 being used as an ipod touch now.  They are all synced, and all was working just fine.
I have initiated an incident with Apple (again) but I know they are just going to suggest I change my Apple ID. It's a simple one, and one that I am sure others think is theirs. I don't want to change it. I shouldn't have to. Apple should be able to tell me who is trying to use it, or at least from where.
    Thanks for listening,
    Melissa

  • Does itunes allowances take money from your credit card or itunes balence

does itunes allowances take money from your credit card or itunes balence??

From a  iTunes gift card balance first, then the difference is charged to your credit or debit card account.
"If your gift certificate, prepaid card, and/or allowance credit is less than the total cost of the purchase, your credit card is billed for the remaining balance. Note: Free song credits cannot be used for album purchases."

  • How can I cancel RedKareoke.  I have tried everything I know and they still keep taking money out of my account. What can I do.

How can I cancel RedKareoke?  They give you explicit instructions but they do not work.  They just still keep taking it out of my account.  I have e-mailed them and they said they would delete it but the $7.41 just keeps coming out every month. And I cannot talk to anyone in person.  The bank won't put a stop payment on an ACH item like this.

  • HT204053 Why I need credit card. To download any item

Why I need credit card. To download any item

Because Apple needs the information required in the event you purchase an item. Without the card there would be nothing to charge the purchase to.

  • ITunes keeps taking money from my account

For purchases I've made months ago. I've had $5 taken out today so now my bank is -$18 for a games I purchased the start of this year and a song I bought like 3 months ago. I shouldn't be charged for something I've already paid for? I mean both the game (that can only be purchased) and the song are on my phone right now which I wouldn't have access to if I didn't purchase them beforehand?  So why is money being taken from my account?

You've viewed the purchase history on your account : See your purchase history in the iTunes Store - Apple Support ?
Have you redownloaded them today, or done anything in the stores over the past couple of days ? Have you done in-app purchases in the game ?
If you've logged into your account today/yesterday then did you add or change card or address details on it and received temporary store holding charges : iTunes Store & Mac App Store: About payment card authorization holds - Apple Support ?
If you have redownloaded them then you shouldn't be charged if they are the same items that you originally bought (e.g. the rights-holder hasn't removed and replaced them with new versions ; what can be redownloaded for free will show in the Purchased tabs in the iTunes and App Store apps on your phone), and you haven't moved countries since buying them. If they are proper charges (not the temporary holding charge) and you don't think that you should have been charged then contact iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

  • Twice Apple Store took money from my credit card without delivering the product. How do I get my money back?

I used my credit card to pay for what app from Apple store. They credited my account but I did not get the product . What can be done?

Don't worry, maybe it's just authorization holds to make sure your CC is valid.

After establishing the Credit Card account (i.e. after you have made purchases), you can remove the credit card information by editing your payment info, choosing "None".

  • Netflix cancelled my subscription for non payment. Itunes took the money from my credit card but itunes did not pay netflix. I am being ignored through apple support and have no netflix. I would sign up with netfix without the apple store but they took $

    Dissapointed with apple itunes account

Update.... After a 24 hour e-mail delay, itunes cancelled my subscription with netflix and refunded my money. Itunes also asked me to resubscribe to netfix through them. I called Netfix and had my subsription started again in less than 2 minutes not using itunes. It was so nice being able to talk to someone on the phone with instant satisfaction. Sorry itunes, with today's technology there is no excuse for e-mail delays.

  • What do I do if iTunes has been taking money out of my bank account with out my permission?

iTunes keeps taking money out of my bank and I don't know what for, what do I do? Can I get it back?

You can view the purchase history on your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it. Click on that and you should then see a list of your purchases (the most recent is above the list). I'm not sure if that shows auto-renewing subscriptions (I don't have any).
If you can't the charges, and you haven't added or changed your credit card details (when you do then a small temporary store holding charge may be applied to check that the details are correct and valid, which should disappear within a few days) then you can contact iTunes Support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
