HT3702 itunes keeps declining my card

My card is fine. There's still money in my account, but for some odd reason Itune keeps saying its declined.  When really it shouldn't.  I've checked to make sure everything is correct and it.  All my info is right.  So really is there anything I'm doing wrong?

What sort of card is it, debit or credit ? If it's a debit card then I don't think that they are still accepted as a valid payment method - they are not listed on this page and there have been a number of posts about them being declined
If it's a credit card then is it registered to exactly the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, it was issued by a bank in your country and you are currently in that country ? If it is then you could check with the card issuer to see if it's them that are declining it, and if not then try contacting iTunes support and see if they know why it's being declined : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Account Management

  • ITunes store keeps declining my card

iTunes store keeps declining my card even though I have zero balance on my card and it should be okay for me to use it?

Well, you're describing a pre-paid card here, which is not supported. Feel free to check here:

  • I have put in all of my card details correctly but iTunes keeps saying my card is declined what don't do?

On my iphone I have gone into my iTunes account and entered all of my card details correctly however every time iTunes has told my card has been declined. The purchases I have been trying to make have all been free so it would not require money and my card had worked before can someone please help??

There is nothing that you can do to get rid of the balance on your own. Contact iTunes Store Support and seek their assistance. I believe that they can reset your balance for you.

  • HT3702 iTunes keep taking money out my credit card without me purchasing any item

iTunes keeps taking money out my credit card without permission or without me purchasing any item

The most immediate thing you need to do is to call your credit card company or bank and report the unauthorized charges. That company can contact Apple if they need additional information.
Next, log into your iTunes Store account and see if the purchases are reflected in the Purchase History. If they are, immediately change the password to your iTunes Store account, making sure it's not something easily guessed or looked up. Then go here:
    http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/
and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store.
If the charges are not reflected in the Purchase History, then it's most likely a fraudulent charge to your credit card directly rather than an unauthorized purchase through your iTunes Store account in which case it will be up to your bank to handle.

  • Help!!!! My iTunes keeps saying my card has been declined and won't accept my card details

    Help,,,,,!!
This evening my iTunes account decided that there was an issue with a previous item I'd downloaded and made me go to my account to re-enter my bank info as it was 'apparently' invalid and not accepted.
Has anyone else had this? I have tried re-entering my bank info about 5 times and still every time it keeps saying payment method declined.
There is nothing wrong with the card as I have made other purchases with that card online today.
This is my only bank card so cannot use another one and now have outstanding stuff to pay for on iTunes!.?!
    Can anyone help me!!!!!!

It's not a debit card, is it? The iTunes Store apparently no longer accepts debit cards. The current valid payment methods are listed here:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5552
If it is a debit card, you can try contacting the iTunes Store and asking if there is any way to use your card, but they probably will tell you that it's not possible.

If it's a true credit card, make sure the billing information you're entering matches the billing information on your card statement exactly. If you're certain that it does, contact the iTunes Store and request assistance.
    Regards.

  • HT1918 I put a hold on my Amex until I resolved a charge I disputed. Today it was resolved and the hold was lifted. Now when I enter that same card into my iPad for my iTunes purchases, it keeps declining the card. Is it too soon ?

Last month I put  a hold on my Amex card until a dispute I had regarding iTunes (on my iPad 4) was resolved. Today it was resolved, the hold was lifted, but now iTunes (iPad 4?) will not accept  my Amex card and my Apple ID is locked. What can I do about this?

    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try another cable
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
Apple Retail Store - Genius Bar
The missing apps could have been done by setting the Restrictions that can hid those apps. If the backup was made with those retrictions set the the Restrictions are also restored.
Thus, if you get it to work restore to factory settings/new iPod, not from backup
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store

  • HT1918 My apple I'd keeps declining my card

I have entered all details correctly and it just keeps saying payment method declined?can any one help?

You are trying to use a credit card not a debit card (which I don't think are still accepted) ? And the card is registered to exactly the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, it was issued by a bank in your country and you are currently in that country ? If it is then you could check with the card issuer to see if it's them that are declining it, and if not then try contacting iTunes support and see if they know why it's being declined :http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

  • ITunes keeps charging my card

ITunes made me put a card on file in order to have access to my apps. I was hesitant about doing this but really had no choice because I needed to update my apps. The first night it charged my card $7.97 & I purchased absolutely nothing. It has now been a week & I've never got a refund.  I just checked my statement & it's showing that iTunes charged my card for $0.99 & again I purchased absolutely nothing. I just need to know how do I go about getting this handled or even an explanation to why I keep getting charged.

You are not talking to Apple here. Just other users. Try

  • HT3702 Itunes charged my credit card too much

I don't understand. I called my bank for the number to call and fix it and a recording told me too go to the website. I need to dispute charges on my card. How do I do that?

If you are in the US then you need to add on your state's sales tax to an item's listed price. If that doesn't account for the difference then try the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work then you can try contacting iTunes Support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

  • TS1368 Why does iTunes keep declining my payment method on my iPhone when I have funds in my account? How can I rectify this?

I have been trying to make a purchase but my payment method keeps being declined even though I have funds in my account. What do I do?

This does not have anything to do with iPhoto - you need the forum for your system or App store support depending on what you are doing and where the error is coming from

  • It keeps declining credit card and now I can't update my free apps

How do I go back to data charging to my phone bill

Go to settings on your device then select app store. If you tap on the email that is shown it will give you an option to view your apple ID. When you are viewing your apple ID, tap on payment method and it will show a list of credit card options. The one at the bottom should say none. If you then tap none for payment options the credit card will not be connected. If you go on to the app store again you should be able to download free apps with out any issues.
    Hope this helped!

  • TS1646 I'm having trouble registering my credit card on iTunes it keeps declining and it's a valid card

I'm having trouble registering my credit card on iTunes it keeps declining my card I have two of them and it declined it can someone help me.

What are you seeing on the iPad's screen when trying to purchase things, and is this the first time that you've tried to download anything from the store ?
If it's the first time then unless the instructions on this page are followed when creating an account : Create an iTunes Store, App Store, or iBooks Store account without a credit card or other payment method
then credit card details will need to be entered before the account can be used to download any item from the store.
If you are getting a prompt to review the account then you could see if the steps on this post by mountaingoatgirl lets you do so without needing to enter credit card details : Re: What do I do if I do not have a credit card.

  • After using an itunes gift card, itunes is declining my credit card information

I recieved a gift card, and I have now spent all of the money on it. I tried to purchase a song today and itunes keeps declining my credit card information every time I try. I dont understand why, as I have used gift cards many times before and this hasn't happened.

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking.  It sounds like you had a gift card which you fully used.  Now your regular credit card is being declined.  Is that correct?  It's not likely that the use of the gift card had anything to do with your credit card being declined.  Did you have your credit card replaced at some time since you first set up your iTunes account?  You can go into your iTunes account information and double check to make sure your information is correct.  Apart from that, you will need to contact Apple to get it sorted out.
