When you select update, verify that it is showing your correct Apple ID, perhaps you have an app that was downloaded with a different ID, all apps are always associated with the ID that first downloaded them.

No, if you have that picture it means the update went wrong and you need to restore via iTunes.

Wait about ten seconds then restart your Mac while holding down the Command + R keys.

Why can't I copy and paste the music from my iPhone on iTunes 11 to a folder in my Music Library? I want to have a copy of the music on iTunes so when I update to a newer version of iOS I don't lose my music. And no I didn't buy this music off iTunes and neither will I use iTunes Match.
There has never been a function to copy anything from an iPhone and paste it to a computer.
All of your media should be in iTunes already.
If it is not and was purchased from iTunes, right click on the device and select Transfer Purchases.
If the media is not in iTunes and was not purchased from iTunes, how did you get it on the device in the first place? -
I bought CS3 several years ago while in school, but had to drop out before I even opened the software. A few months ago I opened and installed the software and used Photoshop to complete a review project in preparation for my return to school. This morning when I tried to open Photoshop again I got a message saying the license didn't support the software anymore and I would need to check with my IT administrator or contact Adobe. I tried calling Adobe but the recorded message said CS was not phone supported. I know it took me a long time to get back to school, but it seems sad to waste the $1,000 I spent on the software. Is there a solution to this issue or do I need to buy new software? Thank you for your help if you have any suggestions.

My phone already says up-to-date and does not download the Sony My Xperia pp.You can manually flash another country's firmware however to answer your question - Before generic handsets get the update the networks have to all authorise the update, I'm not saying they have to release the update but they do have to authorise it - Then Sony will be authorised to release it to generic devices - So if your device is network locked then it's your network that needs to release the update via Sony

now it wants me to sign in with a blackberry id username and blackberry id password. does this automatically happen when i got my blackberry? i have never used blackberry as email. i have an email account that the blackberry sees when i get a new email in this account. or should i ignore the screen? do i lose my apps that came with the phone? i kinda laugh though at losing over two hundred contacts and think, so what? no big deal. at least i'm retired and the golf course knows where i am at if they need help... nice place to work... free beer occasionaly... charlie

Well, first off "it" did not update your device...you allowed it to do that update...I know of no conditions where the Desktop Software forces any updates at all..the end user always remains in complete control.
BB ID is the latest evolution in the RIM account unification process. There are many services that RIM and the carriers host for those that subscribe to an adequate data plan. Previously, each service required independent credentials...with BB ID, they are attempting to unify all of those separate credentials into one unified system, and embed that credential into a base level of the BB so that you only must log into BB ID once, and your BB remembers those credentials from then on, even if you reboot.

But, in some circumstances, reloading an OS or performing an OS update, the BB ID credentials, saved to the BB, may get lost...and, after the update, you need to re-save those credentials (again, just the one time) to your BB upon it's first reboot after the update.
So, if you previously created a BB ID, then you need to use those exact credentials now. If you never created a BB ID, then proceed now with creating one -- for it is now required by the BB OS level that you allowed to be installed to your BB.

Hmmm...that's confusing. You have an email account that you integrated to your BB previously? And it's not now showing to you? If so, then after any update, I always recommend the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2 each should result in a message coming to your BB...please wait for that before proceeding to the next step):
1) Register HRT

2) Delete and Resend Service Books

3) Batt Pull Reboot
Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.

I'm not sure what specific apps you are concerned about...there are a set of built-in added apps that do sometimes change out with changes to OS levels. But, specifics would help more.

That should not happen...during most update processes, the process takes a backup and then restores your data afterwards. But, sometimes the user can defeat that...if you did, well, then...

You can stop new photos being automatically added to Photostream in iPhoto from iPhoto preferences > Photostream.

I am not sure whether anyone has similar problem but I do hope someone can help me with this issue that I am facing.
I have just purchased the iMac a few days before Maverick release. So now I have updated it to Mavericks for my iMac.
After the update to Maverick.
I am updating all the necessary apps like iMovie, iPhoto, Garageband and iWork stuff and have encountered this problem.
No matter how many times I click updates (have been trying for the past 2-3 days too) for iPhoto, Numbers and Keynote , these apps just failed to update. it is just shown " an error has occured" under the purchases category. Also under the Purchases, my iPhoto app icon is "?" (while the grey button instead of "update" it show "pause" .
Please let me know if anyone has any answer to this issue.
Also, I have a question. Why does my Numbers and Keynote, I can install but PAGES I need to pay ? Does anyone has the problem too?
