My credit card is charged lots of money, I wonder how to stop that and get the money back????
Which app is it ? A lot of apps which are free to download then allow you to make in-app purchases within them to unlock extra features/levels etc - if an app allows in-app purchases then it should be mentioned on its decription page in the store. If they were in-app purchases then you can turn off the ability to make them on your iPad via Settings > General > Restrictions > In-App Purchases 'off', and depending upon the iOS version on it you may also have a Require Password setting on the Restrictions screen which you can set to 'Immediately' (so your password should be asked for on every download).

You've checked the purchase history on your account via your computer's iTunes : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it. Click on that and you should then see a list of your purchases.

If nothing shows on your iTunes purchase history (you don't have a Mac and have any purchases in the Mac App Store), and you only have the one account, then you should contact your card issuer.

Purchase an iTunes Gift Card for roughly the amount that the unpaid purchases are for, then redeem it to the account. Quite simply the easiest way to resolve this issue. Once redeemed, the order will be paid for using the store credit, and you will then be free to change your payment method.

Charged more than advertised price for extra
Before I lodge a formal complaint, I want to check that I'm not being stupid...
I have an Orange pay-as-you-go phone. I wanted to buy an extra -- 150 UK texts. This is clearly priced at £3 on the "buy an extra" section of "my account". However, when I added the extra, the text I received said that I had been charged £5, and indeed I have been charged a fiver.
So it seems that Orange/EE are advertising one price and charging another. I know it's only two quid, but it's the principle here! Am I missing something?Having phoned 450 and complained about this, I was refunded my precious two quid... I'm not the only person complaining about it on this forum, so it's clearly a problem that Orange/EE need to sort out with their website. Hardly makes you trust the compant, does it!
