Okay so i used a pre paid visa card on itunes to buy music, i purchased the song and it charges the card and email me a reciept, then after awhile when i try to get a free app it says error has occured then i have to enter the card indo again and it still wont let me get free apps, and it says i owe yall like $5 right now, i had to go and buy a itunes gift card in order to remove the debt and get free apps, please solve this freaking problem, i should be able to get free apps they are FREE

As I understand it Pre-paid credit cards are not supported on iTunes. Something about that they do not always authorize correctly. I suggest that if you only have access to pre-paid credit cards and use them for other things other than the iTunes Store that you use that card to purchase gift card so you are still technicaly using that credit card to make iTunes purchases in a way.

I Tried to purchase an iPhone 5S using two pre paid Visa cards . It went through but the next morning I got an email saying that the order can't be shipped until my bank verifies the order... Considering it was pre paid Visa cards I assumed no banks were involved. I cancelled the order but money has not been refunded back to the two cards yet. That implies that you can't use prepaid cards for purchases. (And if had purchased an iPhone in the US then you won't get warranty coverage for it in Europe, if you had a problem with it then you would probably have had to return it to the US.)

I just received a prepaid Visa card as a gift and tried to use this card as payment info on my iTunes account. This didn't work, I suspect because there is no billing address associated with the card. Is there any way to use the card like this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Some prepaid cards appear to act as credit cards to the merchant. If yours is one of them it should work, but debit cards are not accepted for the iTunes Store.

Do you mean an iTunes Card, the kind sold at Wal-Mart? Sure, that will work.
"Pre-paid" and "credit" are mutually exclusive.
I believe this way of thinking about it ought to be valid: if you need a PIN code, the card won't work.
I don't use debit cards so I can't be certain if this will apply consistently, but let me know if that makes sense.

Either will do. If you get and redeem an iTunes card (the simple instructions on how to accompany it) then any purchases will be debited from that before switching over to your credit card.

Does Apple not accept pre-paid Visa cards?

I went all out to get a pre-paid Visa just so that I can use it with Appstore,
purposely to have a limit, but it seems that it does not accept this kind of card.
What's the deal on this?

Can I apply a pre-paid Visa card to my account?

Hey folks. I just got a $50 pre-paid Visa gift card from someone and I was trying to use it to purchase Motion 5 for my Mac. I tried changing my payment type to this card, but, not surprisingly, it said my address doesn't match the card. Is there a way to apply this card to my account? The only other method I thought of was to just go out and buy a $50 iTunes/App Store card, but I'm trying to avoid being double taxed here :/

Pre-Paid Visa card

I bought a Samsung galaxy tab 7.0 because of a promotion, and 2 days later I bought another one. Now on the phone the salesman said I would get a $200 prepaid Visa card for each one, 2 devices so two cards totaling $400. I want to know where thos cards are? I am having a VERY difficult time trying to get ANYONE to answer that question.
We had a deal, I but the tab, you send the card. I have my bill paid and it has been over 2 months.

ITunes gift card with pre-paid VISA

Apple is REALLY starting to frusterate me!
Okay so, I linked a pre-paid VISA card to my iTunes account (BIG MISTAKE) and I currently have under a dollar left on it. I recently got a $15 iTunes gift card as a present and I redeemed it and it says that I have $15 on my iTunes account. But, when I ty to purchase TweetBot ($2.99), it tells me my credit card has been declined. Why does this happen? Does Apple just ignore the gift card and go straight to paying for the app with my VISA?

As dumb as I sound right now, I removed my VISA from my account so that problem is fixed. But now It says "Your Purchase Could Not Be Completed, For assistance, contact iTunes Support at www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww/." How do I fix this now?

In terms of the pre-paid Visa card, I don't think that you will be able to use them, a credit card needs to be registered to the name and address that you have on your iTunes account so that it can be verified.

Does anyone know if you can use cash back features for the Verizon Pre-Paid Debit Card like you can with a true bank debit card? For example can I purchase an item for $10 and request $90 cash back for a total of $100 withdrawn from the card.

No. Your pre paid visa and your ID are not mutually dependant. Using the app store like opening a bank account has certain rules; we all have to follow them.
You certainly don't have to have a new ID each time; if you buy a new card you could edit the details.

ITunes gift card and Pre-paid credit card in Canada

So I recently bought a 2Gen iTouch and wanted to buy some apps. I bought a iTunes gift card. I set up a iTunes account and went through all the proccess's and redeemed my gift card. It said successful and promted me with my account balance. I tried buying a app and was promted with enter credit card information. I don't have one. But i read the forums and found out that i cannot buy applications in canada, only music and videos.
So now i have non-refundable money on my account with the sole purpose of getting applications. Now my question is that if i get a Pre-paid credit card from anywhere will it work? or does it have to be an actual Master card/Visa?

The better question would be does the company you want to get pre-paid cards from support the iPhone.
For example, in the US, AT&T will not. You may be able to get it to work for voice, but as soon as they realize you have an iPhone, they will cut you off. I believe T-Mobile works fine, but you can't use T-Mobile's 3G network in the US as it's not compatible.
Check with the carrier(s) you want to use. Technically, an unlocked iPhone 4 will work on any compatible GSM network, though not all functions will work depending on the network provider.
