HT3702 Why does it read my apple ID has been disabled when I try to download

When I try to download an album from the iTunes store, I get a message that my apple ID has been disabled. I have a balance on my account,so I'm not sure whats going on.

Depending on why it's been disabled, you might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com
Or you might need to contact Apple : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page
If it then works on your computer's iTunes but not your iPad then try logging out of your account on the iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > Store and then log back in and see if it then works on it.

You may need to contact iTunes store. Contacting the iTunes Store can be done by going to - http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/. At the bottom left, you will see a "contact support" link. Just select it, then select "iTunes Store", and follow the on screen instructions. The final screen will give you an option to "email, chat or call" them. You may see one, two or all these options, however it changes depending on what they have available at the time of contact.

I changed my apple id because my email has changed. I've updated everything I can think of on my iPhone. I've logged out and back in and I still get a " your apple id has been disabled" message every time I try to update my apps. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I'm sure there's an easy solution but I've tried all the tutorials on apple.com and nothing works. Can anyone help?

When you say you have changed your Apple ID, how did you change it? Did you maintain your existing Apple ID via Manage your Apple ID and EDIT it to a new email address, or did you set up a brand new Apple ID?
