HI, my tall time capsule is flashing orange. What does that mean? And how do i correct it to be green?

Click the Finder icon on the dock at the lower left of your Mac's screen, then open Applications > Utilities > AirPort Utility
Click directly on the Time Capsule picture
If you see an Update button, click it
Otherwise, click on the small amber icon and a message will appear to tell you why the amber light is flashing

Check online with the web site of the maker of your video card for an updated driver (assuming you're running Windows).

Timecapsule message reads: "Macintosh.sparsebundle" is already in use. What does it mean and what can I do to make my Time Machine work again?

I also was plagued with this problem and resolved it by physically switching off time capsule and pulling out all conections to it. Then I rebooted my imac and plugged everything back into time capsule and switched it on
This did resolve the problem but it came back the next day so I this time just switched off time capsule at the main switch and it started to work again
At this point I decided to add an extra external drive as a time machine backup
At the last point of setting up the second drive (WD MyBook) i was asked if I wanted to use this for backups or keep both
I chose both. Now my backups are alternating between the two drives. So far so good Have not seen the message again

Every time Firefox open I get an error message stating "Unable to start the Bluetooth stack Service". What does this mean and what should I do about it, if anything?

This occurs ever time I start my computer. It does not seem to impact anything I do. I just click OK and it goes away with no apparent harm.

Thank you so much for answering a question that has been bugging (no pun intended) me for so long. I am not a technical person at all, as you can see by my assumption that this was a Firefox and not a Windows situation, and I would have continued to just kept on hitting the OK button forever. I opted out by disabling the option but I copied the solution to a Word document and placed in a file just in case I needed to reverse in the future. You are using PPPoE but there is no server to authenticate against.. or the modem is already connected and nothing else can join.
Is this ADSL?
Do you have the modem in bridge?
How does it work with the modem working as router? ie what type of connection does your ISP supply.. eg PPPoE is only one.. PPPoA is another.. IPoA or ETHoA.. and sever other more specialised.. PPPoE can only work where it is supported.

Pull the power cord from the back of the Time Capsule
Count to ten
Plug the power cord back into the the back of the Time Capsule

I plugged my Time Capsule in, but the light stays amber - what does this mean and how can I fix it?

Normally on start up, the Time Capsule should flash green for a second, then display solid amber for 15-20 seconds and then...if the settings are correct....the light will turn to green. If there is a problem at this point,the amber light will normally blink slowly.
If the light stays solid amber, this indicates that the Time Capsule has "locked up" and may have possibly experienced an internal component failure.
Power down the Time Capsule for at least 15 minutes
Hold in the reset button and keep holding the reset button in for another 10 seconds as you plug the power back in to the Time Capsule
Release the reset button and see if Time Capsule will go through the normal start up sequence
If you get a slow blinking amber light after approximately 30 seconds, you can now reconfigure the Time Capsule again using AirPort Utility
If you try the factory default reset sequence above a few times and the light remains constant amber, I'm afraid that you'll need to take the Time Capsule to an Apple store to let them have a look.

I can't log in to my computer- when it turns on it has a white/gray screen with a flashing folder with a question mark in it. What does this mean and how can I get it to stop to log in?

I dropped my macbook yesterday and it turned itself off. When I tried to turn it back on all I got was a white/gray screen with a flash folder with a ? in the middle of it? What does this mean and how do I get it to stop so I can log onto my laptop?

Normally the question mark on the gray screen means it can't find the operating system. Have you tried booting up from the installation DVD? Do that, and when you come to the screen where it wants to begin a system installation you'll notice in the menubar where it say's utilites. Click on that and choose disk utility. from there choose your disk and try to verify and repair the disk. If you can you may want to also try and new install of the system. I don't know how much critical data you have, but reinstalling is an option. did you purcahse you from an Apple store? If you did you may want them to look at it. Hope this helps.

Try going to About this Mac, under Apple menu, more info, in the left column hard ware click power. Under battery info see what it says under battery health>condition. If not normal, the battery probably needs service (replacement). You want take it to the Apple store to have it replaced, as this can other more serious issues if left un-tended to.
