How do you switch between two user email accounts?

After updateing to 7.02, I had this problem too.
When I restarted my phone, it went away.
Now I see all of my mailboxes.

I recently set up access to my business mail account using a POP account with the Apple Mail application. I have my .mac account mail routed via the Mail application as well. I believe I have set up the new account (incoming and outgoing mail servers, etc.) correctly. However, when I try going to Mailbox>Get New Mail and select my new account, I have to type in a password and I use the password I created for the account - which is not accepted. Not sure why.
In the "Advanced" tab, I have enabled the account, and checked the box which checks for new mail automatically. Under authentication, "password" is selected.
Any thoughts on what I can do to access my new account?

Assuming Password is the proper method of authentication, and assuming that you have correctly entered the Password, the next thing to check is the form of the Username entry you have made in Mail Preferences, at the time you set up the account. If you have entered the portion of the email address that is in front of the "@" (commonly and properly known as the Username), then try entering the entire email address into the box for Username. Not every server responds to just the Username, and some other mail clients use the email address to obtain the access -- Mail is explicit, and literal about which one may be needed. If you already have entered the entire email address as Username, then try only the Username portion of the email address.

Just select the email account that you want to access in the Mailboxes window of the Mail app. Did you set up both email accounts in the Mail app?

Why am I getting this message on my e-mail account: User account temporarily unavailable for system maintenance?

Is there a solution to this issue? I have an iPhone and an iPad that sync with Outlook using iTunes. Every now and then the contacts, calander and notes become unchecked for both the iPhone and iPad. When I recheck them and "Apply" I get this message: The information on the iPad is synced with another user account. Do you want to sync this iPad with the information from this user account?
As far as U know I have only one User Account. I see that many people have this issue. why isn't there a solution?

i just upgraded my itunes account tonight. i have a question: is the switching between itunes accounts legal? How do they know you are not getting a friends account info and watching their movies? Does anyone know the answer to how this works and if it is legal?

The potential to associate a computer to an account for 90 days has been possible for a number of years like it has been on iOS devices, and can happen if you use iTunes Match, automatic downloads or redownload past purchases (though, based on some posts I've seen, it doesn't always seem to happen) - I believe it's an attempt to try and stop people logging into their account on other people's computers or devices and redownloading/sharing their content, not to stop people having multiple accounts.
It shouldn't stop you buying new content on the account, just doing any of the above three things. If you want to do one of them on your other account then you can try contacting iTunes Support and see if they will remove the current association, but if you then do one of them on the other account then you are likely to start a 90 association to that account instead : Manage your associated devices in iTunes - Apple Support.

With version 9.0.1 I can no longer switch between Google accounts properly

I have a personal Google account and a Google apps account (via my employer, with a custom domain). I normally can log into either one and switch between the two using the "switch accounts" function. This currently works in chrome, and worked in Firefox until I received an upgrade to v9.0.1 today. Now the option to access the other account just isn't there anymore.
This feature is accessed from gmail by clicking on my name in the top right nav bar and choosing "switch accounts". You must have this feature turned on in the settings for both accounts to make this work. I use this to, for instance, read all my mail in one account and use the calendar or docs from the other one.
Anyone have the same experience? Anyone have a suggestion as to why or a solution?

FYI, for future others with this problem: After a couple hours of playing around it was fixed, though I'm not sure what finally did it. Be sure that you try Google's "Sign Out of All Accounts", and not just the regular sign out option.

Easily switching between skype accounts on same ma...

I had an old version of Skype that allowed me to easily switch between my company's skype account and my personal account. There was an "account" tab and a "sign in as different user" option that then showed the other account I wasn't currently signed into and allowed me to switch without having to enter login info (it saved passwords and usernames).
Now I have version 5.3.0.1093 and I have to sign out of skype and sign back in by entering username and password. Does anyone know how to do this in a more fluid way like the older version?

Problem when I switch between my account to other account

I have upgraded my iMAC9,1 from Snow Leopard to Mavericks yesterday.
the upgrade didn't show any errors.
on my mac I have two accounts, that I made several years ago under Triger, and untill yesterday I could switch betwen the two accounts immediatly from the menu bar.
Yestarday, after the upgrade I used my account to check the programs and the mail account: all looks fine.
After I tried to switch to the second account ....but.... the system didn't made any swith. Then I tried to logout but the system have showed me a grey screen without any promt or words... it stay so for two (2) hours... I had turn it off.
today the problem appened again....
I would appreciate it very much if someone could help me.

In these days my iMac has failed to change the user accounts.
In particular seams that the frozen appen After that the system has been wakened up from the "stop".
Can anyone help me?

Transfer Mail messages between Mail accounts

I would like to transfer all messages from one of my Mail account to another Mail account for the same user on the same computer. I want to do that because I don't want to lose my old email messages when I delete the old Mail account.
Please advise.

You can accomplish this a number of ways.
Create an "On My Mac" location mailbox - one for this account's Inbox messages and one for the account's Sent messages.
Transfer messages from the account's inbox mailbox to the appropriate user created mailbox and the same for the account's Sent messages before deleting the account.
I would prefer keeping the received and sent messages for the account to be deleted separate from the account that will remain but if you don't care about this, transfer the messages from the account's inbox mailbox to be deleted to the account's Inbox mailbox that will remain and the same for the messages in the account's Sent mailbox to be deleted.
Or with the Mail.app quit and using the Finder go to Home > Library > Mail > this POP account named folder (named by the user name and incoming mail server for the POP account to be deleted). This account named folder contains the associated mailboxes for the account - Inbox, Drafts, Sent, Trash and Junk.
Copy this account named folder and place the copy on the Desktop.
Launch Mail and delete this account.
Use the Import Mailboxes feature to import the account's Inbox mailbox and Sent mailbox located in the copy of the account named folder placed on the Desktop.

I can't switch between email accounts after updating to ios 7.0.2

I just updated my iPhone and now I'm running into an issue. I've looked online for others with the same issue but no luck so far.
I have an Exchange-based email account for work, plus 3 other personal accounts. 2 are Yahoo Mail accounts, 1 is a Gmail account. I just updated to ios 7.0.2 through iTunes, and now all I can see is the Exchange email account. The others show up in the settings screen, but I cannot find any way to switch to them. I have tried readding those email accounts and I still can't see them.
Has anyone else run into this issue and found an answer?

Switching between CC accounts on one PC

I have my own private Creative Cloud subscription - everything works great. Recently I've got the corporate account for teams from my work. Is there any way to switch between accounts smoothly? Especially I'd like to have both Creative Cloud folders on my PC available to synchronise, without uploading/downloding files through web browser.

Are you planning on continuing your current personal subscription to the Creative Cloud? If not then you can deactivate your current license by selecting Help>Deactivate. You can then relaunch the software and choose the option to License this Software and enter the Adobe ID for the subscription you are wishing to use.
Regarding your inquiry for the Creative Cloud Connection you can sign out and sign in with the other account. I would recommend just utilizing the web interface at https://creative.adobe.com/ if you only need occasional access to files on your personal computer.

Easy switch between iTunes accounts

I have two itunes accounts (one US and one norwegian). I frequently switch between the two when I check for updated apps and such. Now I would like to do this using only a keyboard shortcut or such to save time.
Does anyone know if or how this is possible?

You are only allowed to use the App store of the country you are actually located in.
When Apple discovers someone doing so (and they will when they post it on Apple's website), Apple can (and have with others) locked the accounts so you no longer have access to anything purchased with those accounts.

Setting Up A New Mail Account User

I am presently the only person using my new Mac and now I need to set up a mail account for my husband. I have him as an additional account user, but could not succeed @ setting up his mail account. Each time we tried to assign a name and password, it wouldn't take it. What do I have to do? I am presently the only Administrator to the account. I also wanted to add the Microsoft Office for Mac to his Dock Station, how do I do this also? Right now it's only in my account. I would really, really and trully appreciate help with this.

You need to clarify some things for me. I need to you separate the use of the terminology of "Apple Mail program" from the use of "a .mac account." They are not the same thing. The Mail application can be used with all sorts of email accounts, and does not require the use of a .mac email account subscription.
If you are speaking of a .mac account, and if the address for your husband is an alias address belonging the one true .mac account, then you have to be signed on to the the real account before the alias can be used, and it is not set up as a separate account, but appears in the drop down menu of available From addresses.
On the other hand, if you have purchased a second, email only, .mac address, then I think that can be set up without the other one being setup in that User Account. But only your main account could access the iDisk for other uses.
If you talking about email accounts, other than .mac, then more info is needed.
As you can see, I need a fuller understanding of your situation to really give a proper answer.
