HT3770 I have recently bought a external hard drive and I was told to down load a Fat 32 in order to work with my MAC/ Is this right and how do I find the download and how to install to make my new external drive compatible with my MAC?

Bad advice. You do not need or want FAT.
You want GUID and Mac HFS Standard Journaling.
You don't download when you write files, or when you format or erase a drive.

I have recently bought a LaCie Hard Drive, it works fine, and I have formatted for use with Mac OS X.
I share my iMac with other users, 3 others to be exact, and I want them to be able to use the external hard drive to store their files, music etc. However, I do not want the other users to be able to view the other users information.
I have created 4 Individual folders, with the users names on it, and when I try to prevent access to the folders I seem to block access to everyone.
How can I prevent other users from accessing others users' folders on an external hard drive?Select the drive in the Finder and choose Get Info from the File menu. Next, uncheck the box 'Ignore ownership on this volume'. When done, create the four folders on this drive. Change the Group and Other access for each folder to No Access in the Get Info window, and then change the owner to that of the account you want to be able to access the folder. You may be asked to enter your administrator password one or more times.
Some disk formats, such as Mac OS Standard, don't support file permissions; to check what format a disk is in, select it, choose Get Info from the File menu, and look at the General section.

I have recently bought a zen touch (20gb) and i can't figure how to get music from Creative media Source to my Zen. I know how to select all tracks (i have 745) but i can't find the transfer button. If someone could help me it would be greatly appreciated.
You can use either the left arrow or the right arrow to transfer, depending on whether you view the content of your MP3 player on the left or on the right. Creative MediaSource is so fliexible that it offers you to view your different music sources in different panels. Apparently, you you may not be aware that you can view the content of your MP3 player in the right panel. Just to to the View Menu and you can select what you want to view in the right panel.

I have recently bought a second I phone4 and have the same apple ID on both of them, strangely I noticed the messages sent from one phone appearing the other one along with any pictures I sent from one of my Iphones. Is it possible to see the same msgs.
You need to setup different Receive At addresses for iMessage.
If you don't want the same pics on each, turn off PhotoStream.

My warranty is with Best Buy and they said that they would reinstall iTunes into my E: drive for only $149.00.It cost me $200.00 to have the second hard drive installed by the people that made my computer. I do use Firefox and I went to add/remove to see which version and could not find the Adobe 10.1.82.76 it said I had??? Then I just went back and it is there. I was told I HAD to update the Adobe because of a security issue, but when I went to add it, it said warning the program I was about to add might be dangerous????? So I have it on the down load thing, I have not told it to run, but it shows up in my add/remove folder and I am SO confused??? Do I need to run it? I went to the adobe site and found it when I could not find the "edit" button. I am not sure if I have the right version. It said certain versions would not run with Firefox and I do not want to mess up my computer.

I have Windows Vista and need to find the downloaded file. I dont want to download it again because there it will probably do the same thing.
Try using Windows Vista's search facility to find the file.
If it is an installer file for Firefox for instance it will have firefox included in the file name.
If you are trying to install firefox you should use the lattst version of Firefox (Currently Firefox 12, but in a few days time Firefox 13) availble from:

The Adobe auto updater is pretty decent in CS6. Just go to the Photoshop Help menu > Updates.
You will be able to update ACR, Photoshop and Bridge right there, if there are in fact updates available. -
I love Firefox, but I have spent a lot of time trying to find the download button to install on my new computer. Whaat am I overlooking, or has someone forgot to include the download option?
"Different by Design" is just "brand messaging" for the Firefox download page (shown [http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/ here] and in the [[Installing Firefox on Windows]] KB article) for marketing purposes. It's possible that the browser you were using had JavaScript disabled (or you're using web-filtering software that blocks scripts) because when I disable JavaScript and go to www.getfirefox.com, the page I'm redirected to, which is http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/fx/?from=getfirefox doesn't have a green download button.

Connect the iPad to your computer's iTunes and copy any purchases off the iPad to your computer via File > Transfer Purchases. You may also want to copy photos and any important documents off the iPad as well e.g. via the file sharing section at the bottom of the device's apps tab when connected to iTunes, via wifi, email, dropbox etc - they should be included in the backup, but it's best to have a copy of them outside of the backup just in case. You can then force a backup of the iPad by right-clicking the iPad 'Device' on the left-hand side of iTunes and selecting 'Backup'.
