HT3775 I added compressor form the apple store to quicktime but I still can't play files that compressor is supposed to play

I added compressor form the apple store but Quicktime qill not play video files tha tthe compressor description says it will play. Suggestions?

I've deleted all the .wma files. I used "Switch" to convert all my music to .aac. When I first bought the macbook I'm using, I hooked up my external backup disc and copied all my music to the macbook. All the music was ripped over the years in .wma format. So I have a folder named "music". Under that folder, I have a folder named "CDs". Under the "CDs" folder I have all teh folders for each artist of the CDs I ripped, and then under teh artists' folder are teh album folders. I think it is represented like this (example for my dropkick murphys cds): music>cds>dropkick murphys>going out in style.
So I first drag and dropped the entire "CDs" folder.....nothing
Then I draged the album folder.....nothing
Then I dragged and dropped the individual .aac song......nothing

Are you sure that you are being billed through iTunes and not directly through Hulu ? There are instructions on this page for managing and stopping auto-renewing subscriptions : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4098

If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then you can try going to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you might see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.

They should replace the whole device, not just the screen. If they have it in stock, you will walk out with in in minutes. If you are not under warranty there is a charge.

i tried to follow the steps in recovery mode but itunes still can't detect it.
Ok ok. It did work the first time, however the phone got disconnected so then the phone turned itself on again.
I tried to repeat the same steps again but it did not show the itunes logo. It just turned on and went to the lock screen.
I did this for about 4-5 times. Each trial ending up with the same result.
So what i did, once the phone was connected to itunes i clicked the update button and waited for HOURS to finish the update.
It did restart and did whole other things. But it stopped and a black screen appeared with a text saying Iphone is disabled. Connect to iTunes.
Any suggestions on what to do next? I'm seriously feeling so frustrated right now.
So in case you didn't get it my phone was disabled after entering the wrong password too many times. Tried fixing it but it seemed to get worse.

BUying the phone form the Apple store vs the phone store

Is there any advantage to buying the phone from the Apple store vs the ATT people? I found with my Treo the ATT folks don't know much about it and also didn't offer any insurance for it either!

There used to be a huge difference. AT&T would let you order, while  would make you come and stand in line. With the 3GS, Apple allowed pre-orders.
Now, there is no difference. If you are the only person on your account, it is pretty simple to set it up. If you have multiple cell phones on your accounts, it may be better to let ATT set it up to handle the complexity. (But either way, you can call AT&T 1-800 number to resolve any issues.)

Can someone please help??? I received am IPad air in November for my birthday and have not been able to use yet, I could not get it to connect so I returned it for another iPad air. And cannot get it to connect to wireless either. I have three other iPad 2's and laptops in home and everything connects with no problem. What is the deal with these iPad airs? My husband took the iPad to Apple store, it works there but didn't change anything so it won't work at home. Do I need to step down to old IPad since that's all that will connect in home. Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app

    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. The Apple IDs from @mac.com and @me.com (Older MobileMe and more recent iCloud Names) are also Valid AIM Screen names.
Any other sort of Apple ID is not a Valid AIM Name.
A Google ID that is associated with Google Mail Account (And has "Talk" enable on your Google Settings) can be used in iChat as Jabber Name/ID. (Google Run Jabber server).
Jabber and AIM are different IM Services and it is not easy or straight forward to add Buddies from one Service to the Buddy List of another. (As A Starting point consider it "impossible")
iChat 4 and 5 have links to the registration page of @Mac.com here with a "Get an iChat Account" button in the add (Account) screen (You select @mac.com or MobileMe and then press the Button - Choosing AIM and then pressing the button used to lead to the AIM registration page but AIM moved their page).
Apple IDs can be any valid email (or an @mac.com or iCloud registration)
Therefore you could make a Google ID into an Apple ID.
However this will not be a valid AIM Screen Name the way @mac.com or MobileMe/iCloud ones are.
