I am trying to add a slideshow to my website, with no luck. I am using dreamweaver and have created a slide show in iPhoto. I'm not sure what format I need to save the slideshow in, in order to add to my website. Any HELP would be great. Thank you in advance!

QuickTime movie format will create a .mov or .m4v file that you can use in a Web page.

Thank you for your answer but it hasn't helped. I am trying to browse my own computer's files of photos for an image to upload to magento. The browse button doesn't do anything. This is the first version of Firefox I have used (#23). I am trying to see if Firefox will work better for my business than other browsers. So my cache is pretty empty just magento and magento help.
When i scroll over the browse button this message appears at bottom (I took a snapshot of the screen):

Trying to add video to my site, need help

So, I am trying to add video content to my website. I've converted small video clip to test to the .flv format and have a .swf flash video player. I'm trying to embed it into my site but its giving me trouble. Here is a copy of the code I am using

here is my question. I am confused to where my server is. I don't have my site content on an online server so does that mean, my computer is acting as my server?
On the embed src= "spot" do I just point to the place where I saved the .swf file on my computer? Same question goes for "file spot"at the bottom, the last line of code?
When I try and follow the directions and point to the files on my computer the video does not play. Hover over the 2nd video explanation to see my problem on my site to see the problem

When you started in Dreamweaver, you should have created a testing server. This testing server has the root folder defined on your computer:
You would put the flash movie into your media folder (or whatever folder you would designate for media such as this).
In Dreamweaver, on your insert panel, you should see a "insert media" button. Click the down arrow beside the button and choose the media you wish ot insert:
Choose FLV and it will give you the option to put in the URL (local testing server folder), a control button skin, and the size.

Yes, there is a known issue relating to this. Just restart your site and it will be ok. See

How do I add a link to my website in mail signatures

Hi all I am new to Apple Communities - I am trying to add a hyperlink to my website address in my Mail signature. I have had a look at so many posts and found this fairly useful: http://mydesignpad.com/create-a-complex-html-email-signature-for-mail-on-mac-os- x-10-9-mavericks/. I have also looked at other sites but keep getting stuck at step 6:
I have located the Library in Finder
Go to ~/Library/Mail/V2/MailData/Signatures/
but this is nowhere to be found. How can I get over this issue?

Open your iPhoto Library, go to that particular album and verify that you can view the full sized version of each image by double clicking on them. Report back with the results.

Trying to add a lightbox slideshow caption link to a url hosed my site.

In the lightbox slideshow caption I tried to add an html link to the url of the image and now the all the slide show are hosed. It didn't link from the caption text but was embedded into the sllde show so that all the thumbnails linked to the same url.I even created a new slideshow from scratch and it still linked to the url. Do I have to rebuild the whole site? How and where do look to find the hyperlink to remove it?

Please try to select the caption and remove the link from hyperlink dropdown in top bar menu in Muse.
If this is not the case , post screenshots from design view.

Even though no one replied, i fixed my problem.
Don't know if it will work for anyone else with similar problem
but all I did was a CHKDSK then a defragment of my laptop and now everything seems to be working fine.

Music trouble while trying to make a slideshow with iPhoto

I am trying to make a slideshow for a family member. I have assorted the pictures in the correct order and that part is done. However, when I went to go and add music to the show, iPhoto only lets me pick one song that I can play continuously throughout the show or just once. I would like to try and put about 5 or 6 songs on to go with the pictures but I can not find any way I can do this. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions on what I can do or what software I may need to buy instead. Thank you very much.

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. This is what Terence is referring to:
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 6 and 7 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.≤br>
Note: There now an Automator backup application for iPhoto 5 that will work with Tiger or Leopard.

Are you leaving the box unchecked to Manually manage music & videos? You don't need to to add anything to the iPhone.
Simply drag the playlist to the iPhone to manually add it.

In GarageBand 10.0.2 you can no longer add all kinds of effects freely; this GarageBand '11 feature has been discontinued. Pick one of the predefined patches that already has the effects you want.
However, you can add effects from the predefined audio units.
You'll see the predefined effects on the track, when you open the Smart Controls. To add audio units, click the button and enlarge the the smart controls pane by dragging the dividing line to the Track Area upwards.

HT1386 I originally added music to my iphone under someone elses itunes account, now that I am trying to add under my own id, it is not showing on my phone...how can I fix this?

As you connect your ipod to iTunes, an option in the upper right of the screen will appear. When you click this, it will show the different menu for your ipod.
