HT3775 I have a video file that is under quick play .mov and my macbook is telling me that it cannot read the file?
I am trying to record something on my desktop and I recorded it with an application called iscreen recorder lite. I downloaded it off of the application store thinking it would save under a file my computer would recognize. When I tried to play the recording back again, my computer tells me it cannot read the file and I should see if the formatting is right. I checked and the file is under .mov which should be supported by mac. Please help!
I have this exact same problem, only on Snow Leopard. What's the right answer?

I am hearing that there is no way to read on an apple computer books purchased in the iBookstore. Is this true? I purchased a book on my iphone 4 in the iBookstore and I cannot read it on my macbook pro. Seems like a silly, but very annoying and aggravating fallacy. What can I do to read the book on my computer?

What you are hearing is correct. There is currently no Mac app for iBooks, so no way to get them on the Mac.
You can use many of the other e-reader apps like Kindle on all of your devices and your Mac.

After upgrading to MAC OS X 10.10.2 Lightroom 5 cannot read the card (RAW files , converting to DNG) when importing. The card is fine as I can import into iPhoto - any ideas?
It’s usually necessary to trash the prefs after updating OSX to Yosemite. Start by quitting Lightroom 5.
Launch Finder and click the Go menu whilst holding down the Option (alt) key. Then go to:
Library >> Preferences
clear everything relating to LR5 which usually means deleting the following files:
com.adobe.Lightroom5.plist
com.adobe.Lightroom5LSSharedFileList.plist
Then re-launch Lightroom. -
All the bookmarks on Firefox have disappeared and no new ones can be added. I tried the backup procedure to restore lost bookmarks but I am told that the backup files (all ten of them, by date) cannot be read. History files also are not shown.
You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder and delete all places.sqlite files.

I've used this same iTunes account multiple times to back up phones and restore them when I've gotten new devices. I have restored this device as well once before, but i want it as up to date as possible becuase I am getting the iPhone 6 tomorrow. I've run a diagnostics test and under the connectivity test its saying there is no iPhone found, as well as under the sync test. I've gone through all the steps and what the possible problem could be (un-installing and re-installing, making sure all the software is active and up to date on my computer and making sure everything is installed correctly and running properly) and I'm still getting the same error message. I'm out of options and idea. Please help!

I have a Nikon P7700. I can download some of the images. The same set of images will not download so I can send 300dpi images for print. I am new to figuring this out. Please help?
Does your MacBook Air run a reasonably current Operating System (OS X 10.8.5 or later - the current version is 10.9.2)? Are you running a reasonably current version of iPhoto (9.4.3 or later - the current version is 9.5.1)?
If so, you can download this RAW compatibility update from mid-January. It supports your camera.

I have been importing images via card reader with no problem. Now all of a sudden I can see the images on the screen but when I try to import the computer says that it can not read them and quotes numbers of the images. Any idea how to solve?

Can someone tell me why my macbook pro wont bootcamp to windows xp and it says that the disk is invalid or unreadable?
Vista isn't supported either but my MacBookPro 4,1 with Lion does boot off the Vista DVD. I'd wonder if this Windows XP disk actually is invalid or unreadable. Can it be mounted when you're running Lion?

I rent a movie on iTunes stores, downloading it to my iPad2, but during the movie, the reading stop from capter 10 to End. I understand the confusion. Those tracks are royalty free to the owner of the tracks, yes. The terms of use of the iTunes Store still state, though, that all purchases are for your own personal use and cannot be used commercially:
USAGE RULES
1. You shall be authorized to use iTunes Products only for personal, noncommercial use.
They're probably fine for presentations in a class or to a group at your company, but you probably could not post the presentation or a video using these tracks on a public site. I'm no lawyer, though, to legally define what would and would not constitute "noncommercial". It's probably best to just buy your tracks directly from one of these sites of royalty-free music. Then the use license should be completely clear.

on my last down load of firefox, I not have two issues that occur, One every once and awhile I get a video ad that shows up in the lower left corn of the browser. I have uninstalled your software and reinstalled and it is still there. Also I get a web site of inksr.com that my trend micro blocks everytime I go to a new web site within firefox. Both of these have started after I was told to redownload your software in order to get the updates to work and not be blocked.

Imported photos, deleted originals, then iphoto crashed and lost everything

My MuVo 2 5GB FM mp3 player has ceased to operate in what to me seems a very odd way. I'd like to see if anyone else has seen this particular malfunction. After finishing listening to an audio book, I connected the player to my PC, navigated to the a
