EPS and Tiff Files are not open...

Dear All,
If we open the EPS or Tiff file in Illustrator CS3, we got the error message as in the screenshot which named as “Illustrator screenshot.jpg”.
If we open the EPS or Tiff file in Photoshop CS3, we got the error message as in the screenshot which named as “Photoshop screenshot.jpg”.
We unable to open the file both in Illustrator and Photoshop. Is there any other option to open the file? Please advice.
I’ve attached the images and screenshots for your better reference.

These files are completely corrupt. I got the same error messages you did in Illustrator and Photoshop.
The EPS files look quite hopeless. (They do not remotely resemble EPS files when viewed in a text editor.) The TIFF file opened in IrfanView. I've resaved it as a JPEG and attached it here. You can see that it's truncated.
You didn't mention how you obtained the files.

I have Photoshop Elements 11. I purchased a Canon 70D, which raw files are not supported by PE11. How can I upgrade the Camera Raw plug in? Thank you.

You need PSE12 to read your CR2 files. Alternatively, download and install the free Adobe DNG converter to convert your raw files to the Adobe universal Raw format and the files will open in all versions of PSE (keep your originals as backups and for use in the camera manufactures software)

I am trying to use the auto audio-sync feature. When I select the video and audio clip to be synced FCPX says its syncing them and then once finished (at 100%) no compound clip is created and the video and audio file do not sync. Any help is appreciated.

Well, he's partially correct, because it added the last three posts (which of course have nothing to do with the problem at hand), but it did not increase the "real" answers.
Bumping a thread is disruptive and generally a bad idea, because it adds a lot of noise to the forum. Imagine everybody would do it! There would be so much elbowing for the top spot that all substance would be lost in the chatter.
In the NI forums, bumping a thread is very counterproductive, because blue contributions (from NI) will typically (and hopefully!) wait until the thread is idle for a while.
Overall, it is a bad idea!

I updated my OS on recommendation from apple. Pdf and vector files will not open in adobe illustrator now. Am i using the latest OS?

Freehand can't convert EPS files into editable vectors. I
usually run
EPS files through Illustrator and then into Frehand. If you
don't have
Illustrator you can convert the EPS into a PDF and that
Freehand will
sometimes convert into editable vectors (though it does

JPG and RAW files are not grouped together.

I am finding that my RAW and JPG files are not grouped together. They show up on the Grid View as JPG for the JPG file and RAW + JPG for the NEF(RAW) file. This does not seem to be consistent through out the folder. Some of the pictures are grouped together and others are not. The ones that are not grouped together have been auto-stacked and then unstacked. I am not sure if this is what caused the seperation of JPG and RAW files. I did try to take a picture that I had auto-stacked it and then remove it and it did not sepearate. The "Treat JPG files next to raw files as seperate photos" option is turned off, like it is in my Lightroom 3.

You may need to rebuild permissions on your user account. To do this,boot to your Recovery partition (holding down the Command and R keys while booting) and open Terminal from the Utilities menu. In Terminal, type: ‘resetpassword’ (without the ’s), hit return, and select the admin user. You are not going to reset your password. Click on the icon for your Macs hard drive at the top. From the drop down below it select the user account which is having issues. At the bottom of the window, you'll see an area labeled Restore Home Directory Permissions and ACLs. Click the reset button there. The process takes a few minutes. When complete, restart.

My webarchive files are not opening. I have a lot saved from previous months of research. I never had a problem opening them before. Now all of a sudden I get a page from mywebsearch that simply says "Recently closed." All of them...even the ones I saved this afternoon.

You can try using this tool to first remove all traces of Reader:

Using the latest edition of ADE. Could be a corrupted ePub file? Curiously, this is the second time I've downloaded this epub from the same site, and I had no problem the first time. It still has 9 days remaining in the borrowing period.

I am upgrading the EBS 12.1.3 database from 11.1.0.7 to 11.2.0.2.
I have completed the steps till Implement and run AutoConfig on Interoperability Notes EBS R12 with Database 11gR2 [ID 1058763.1]
I have completed AutoConfig on the Database tier successfully. But i doesn't find any listener files on <RDBMS_ORACLE_HOME> and similarly environment file.
These files are already available on OLD <ORACLE_HOME>.
Please suggest me if i miss any step.
