HT3819 My ipad2 and apple tvs won't work for very long

I've been having problems with streaming of even beaming from iPad 2 to Apple TV ( I have 2 )... My iMac settings seem correct... I can't even stream CNN on iPad for more than 30 seconds, it just stops... I've tested my wifi signal and 20+ Mbps, I unplugged the wifi router for 2 minutes, still persists... Since ios6 I've had issues, lots of issues, too many for what I've got for equipment... ( all apple with exception to the router )
I've hard reset all my stuff, next step???
Will this clear up on its own???

Is there a log file in the document folder indicating what the problem was. There are a number of reasons that PDF creation may fail. You can try to print to the Adobe PDF printer to see if there is any indication in that process. The processing is different, but the same problems may show up with both processes.

IPhoto and Apple ID won't work after system update

I've recently updated my MacBook Air to OS X v10.9.4. iPhoto won't work as i am currently using v9.2. I've tried downloading a later version but have been advised that my Apple ID will not work on this computer. NB. I have an iPhone but have not used the Apple ID on this - to my knowledge, or another Apple ID on my system. I'm a basic level user so any advice on this would be great.

What is the email for the covent garden apple store (UK), if not apple uk. I am in canada and need to contact THIS store (for an insurance claim) and the phone system won't work for a long distance call.

I lost my iphone 4S 32GB a couple of weeks ago and I need to try and prove to my insurance company that the iphone was a 32GB.
I was told by an apple store near where i live that the original store where i purchased my iphone may be able to find records on my phone and print out a receipt for me. I can't get through to the Covent Garden apple store in london (where i brought the phone), because the automated phone system that apple uses doesn't seem to like long distance phone calls.

I need help finding a workable web program that is not CSS based. I tried IWeb and it just won't work for me. Way too limiting. I've been using a 12 year old copy of Macromedia Dreamweaver, but the new Dreamweaver is CSS

Been building web pages for nearly 20 years, starting with GoLive. Went to Dreamweaver about 12 years ago, the Macromedia version. Tried going to iWeb when it came with a new Mac, but found it way too limiting with it's CSS template base.   Unknowlingly, I then bought a new copy of Dreamweaver.   Ooops, Adobe had bought Macromedia and Dreamweaver, too, is now CSS based, which for my money makes it useless to anyone who likes simplicity.   Now I find that even iWeb has been discontinued. I was told yesterday that Apple doesn't have a web program any more.   At 12 years old, I just don't think it's practical to try to load my old Macromedia Dreamweaver into the new Mountain Lion (I'm getting a new Mac), though it is running, barely, in Snow Leopard.
I need to find a web builder program that will permit simple construction of educational pages, nothing fancy, nothing artistic, just create a page, give it a color, type or drag in text, insert a table, insert pix in the table blocks, add text under the pix... done!    I should note that I am not looking to build traffic. I teach simple things for free and people who want to learn those things (antique sewing machine repair, quilting, building longbows) find me.
I've downloaded trial versions of half a dozen or so programs and looked at maybe 20 more, but all are either CSS based and drive me insane with requirments for constantly making rules and template models, and/or require that you base your web presence in their server.   Also, many will not work with pages built in other programs. I maintian a volume of over 1000 web pages, many requiring regular updating, and they have been with the same server for more than 15 years. I'm not about to change.
So, anybody know a simple, old fashioned web builder that's happpy on a Mac platform?

Start with a blank page using the Black or WHite template.
All modern websites use CSS and there are thousands of free templates to be had if you want to use a code entry style application. You will need to go this route if you want to create a site that is viewable on mobile devices although you can create an iPhone version using iWeb...

I was given a used iPod, and the battery doesn't work for that long.

I want to take it to the Apple Store and see if they can exchange it or give me a new battery, but the iPod isn't registered under my name. My brother said that I have to give the registered name, but I'm unsure what it is, because who I got it from had gotten it from another person. Is it necissary to change the registered name, and if so how do I do this?

What do you have loading in your login items?
Open Activity monitor and see what's running under All Processes.
Were you playing games when your Macbook is running on batteries?
Did you turn off your bluetooth?
Do you have anything hooked up to your usb ports?
The above comments or questions factor in the way your battery last when using your Macbook under it's own power.

Help! Replaced Verizon router and suddenly my 2 Apple TVs won't accept my Apple ID

I have two Apple TVs that were working just fine, but I replaced my 11 year old Verizon FIOS router today, and I have everything connected and working, except the Apple TV's which refuse to accept my Apple ID as correct. I have Home Sharing turned on on all my computers, but on the Apple TV configuration screen I cannot get past where it wants the Apple ID put in. I even went online and CHANGED my password, restarted iTunes, turned off Home Sharing and then back on, restarted computers, router, and have been using the remotes to type in my Apple ID and new password literally dozens of times and it says my password or user ID cannot be found or is incorrect; I know it is not incorrect....Help! One thing I noticed is the Apple TV in the configuration screen seems to have a strange IP address.....169. something or other instead of 192.168 >>> like everything else. I even tried changing that manually to what was showing for the Apple ID on my router screen but that didn't work either. We have not changed any connections on the TV, Apple TVs.....just the router replacement. Because it's a new router, it has a new network name and password, but I can't get to the point where I can put that in (tried selecting network automatically), because everything I try to do I get stopped by the Apple ID screen.

IPad and Apple TV won't connect after upgrade to 6.1.2

I have two iPad2 that I installed the latest upgrade on to test the waters last Thursday. They both connected to Apple TV on Friday, now today, Monday, niether will connect.

I found another discussion that helped with my situation. I turned off the devices; iPad and Apple TVs, then powered down the Wireless Access Point (WAP) and when the WAP came back up, I restarted the devices. In both cases the devices connected without a hitch.

I changed my Apple ID to my new email and now cannot find any way to access icloud. Unfortunately I had allowed icloud to hijack my airbook files, so of course I am afraid I will lose them tomorrow when I exchange my iphone for a new one and cannot keep an icloud account i cannot access. No Mirroring in Ipad 2? I have IPAD2 and Apple Tv 4.3. I can airplay videos/music from Ipad2 to my HDTV via ATV, but I cant mirror it. When I select airplay to switch from Ipad2 to Apple TV, Mirroring does not show as an option. What am I missing?

Here’s what you need to do to turn on AirPlay Mirroring on your iPad 2:
– Have iOS 5 installed on your iPad 2
– Make sure your Apple TV software is up-to-date. You can check for updates on the Apple TV by going to Settings > General > Update Software.
– Have your TV turned with Apple TV active and showing.
– Double-tap the home button on the iPad to bring up the Multitasking Bar.
– Swipe to move to the left of the Multitasking Bar, so you can see the set of controls just to the left of the volume adjustment slider.
– The button just to the right of the Fast Forward button – the one that has a rectangle with a solid, upward-facing arrow in it – is the AirPlay button. Tap to switch from iPad to Apple TV.
– Once you do that you’ll see the Mirroring section appear just below the entry for Apple TV. Just tap to turn that On, and the iPad 2 will immediately begin mirroring to your TV screen.

I recently changed my Apple ID and now iMessages won't work on my Mac. It will still work on my iPhone and iPad, but they will not communicate with my Mac. None of the messages I try to send from my Mac will go through.

This is a step up from the previous suggestion.
Make the Finder the "front" app.
Use the Go Menu whilst holding down the ALT key.
Select the Library that appears in the Menu list.
Navigate to Preferences.
Find com.apple.imservice.imesssages.plist and drag it to the Trash.
Restart the app.
You will most likely have to re-enter the Apple ID
If that does not work delete the com.apple.imessages.bag.plist (this one holds the server it should be trying rather).
Again Restart the app.
