I have done all the steps required to update IOS5 to my iPhone. It did not update automatically. It just updates to 4.2.1 which says is the latest software for my iPhone. Is there any other way to update my iPhone to IOS5?

I had several problems downloading the software and plenty of errors. My most recent backup before the update was a day ago. Since downloading the new iOS 5 software I lost all my pictures, and I'm really upset about it. My phone has been synced with iTunes since the restore, but I was wondering if I can get my pictures back?
Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated!If you cannot get them by restoring from backup then they are gone.
Why would you update anyhting without making sure that all of your pics were on your computer and backed up?
You should never update/reinstall any software without making sure that everything is backed up. -
i upgraded my ipod touch to ios 7 for the first time and i loved it at first. but i dont like the texting. the keyboard is all glitchy. it runs slower and is just way to smooth for me. i dont like that. i want ios 6 back. i miss the way i was able to text people. i want the old facebook back. it was much faster. i want ios 6 back. is there any way to downgrade? i dont wanna have to leave apple and move on to android. thats what a lot of people down here are doing because no one likes ios 7. we want ios 6 back.
iPhone desn't allow you to use whatever iOS version you want other than the most current. There is absoluetly no way to downgrade, authorized or non.

You cannot get Siri on an iPhone 4. You can install the Google search app, which has voice recognition, but it can only search, it cannot control the phone. The iPhone 4 does have Voice Control, which is only for basic phone functions.

What you are looking for is only available for iOS 5 and above. You will need to connect your iPhone to a computer and update through iTunes as always.

If you mean it's in recovery mode, no. There is no way around it. It must be restored using a computer running iTunes.

What do you mean nothing.
If it shows $0.00 then that's nothing, that's zero. If it shows truely nothing then you are not logging in with an account that had store credit. Or not logging in at all.
Click on your name so the triangle appears, then click on Account for more details. -
Is there any better way for updating table other than this?
Hi all, I need to update a row in the table that require me to search for it first (the table will have more than hundred thousands of row). Now, I am using a LOV that will return the primary key of the row and put that primary key to DEFAULT_WHERE property in the block and execute query command to fetch the row that need updating. This works fine except that it require 2-query-trip per update (the lov and the execute_query). Is there any better way to doing this? This update is the main objective for my application and I need to use the most effective way to do it since we need to update many records per hour.
Thanks Rama, I will try your method. Others, how to query row instead of primary key? I thought that querying primary key is faster due to the index?
BTW, what people do if you need to update a table using Form? I have been using the LOV then execute query since I first developing form. But I am building a bigger database recently that I start worrying about multiple query trip to dbms.
FYI my table will have up to million rows on it. Each row will be very active (updated) within 1-2 weeks after it creation. After that it will exist for records purposes only (select only). The active rows are probably less than 1% of all the rows. -
