Are Raw Files from Fujifilm X-E1 supported? If not, when will they update the list

The list of supported RAW formats is here:
http://www.apple.com/aperture/specs/raw.html
The answer to your question is currently "no."  Nobody here can say if or when that will change.

  • Are RAW files from the Lumix LX7 supported in PSE10?

Hi, is it possible to open a RAW-file from the new Lumix LX7 with Elements 10?
Message title was edited by: Brett N

In the meantime you could use the 7.2 DNG Converter Beta to convert your files to dng copies which pse 10 should open:
Note: you want the 7.2 dng converter beta not the 7.2 camera raw plugin beta

  • RAW files from Fujifilm X10, why have I lost the ability to import after last RAW file update?

When I first installed iPhoto '11, it would not accept imports of RAW files from Fujifilm X10, then when doing an RAW file compatibility update in around April 2013, I could then import X10's RAW files, but when I did the latest RAW file combatibility update about a week ago, I now seem to have lost this ability, WHY? How can I restore this feature?

    For what I understand:
The problem is that the update applies to the IOS not the software itself (iPhoto or Aperture) so rolling back is almost impossible.
Meanwhile the most effective way is to send feedback requesting the update:

  • Support for RAW files from Fujifilm X-T1?

I don't seem to able to view RAW files from Fujifilm X-T1 on Aperture. Is this available and if not when can it be made available?
    Thanks

    Michael,
sorry, no. Fujifilm X-T1 is not on the list of supported cameras, see:

  • RAW files from Fujifilm EXR 770 not loaded by Lightroom 5.2

Title says it all. The camera is listed as supported by L/r 5.2 but I am informed the RAW files can not be loaded.

So it looks like you will have to wait for an update before you will have support for that camera. It isn't on the list of supported cameras published from Adobe. Nobody here knows when or if new cameras will be added.

  • RAW files from my Fujifilm X-Pro1 open with a blank white box

I'm using an iMac running OS X (ver. 10.9.3) and the newest version of PhotoShop CC and have checked to see that the most recent updates are current. In working with RAW files from my Fujifilm X-Pro1 I am able to bring up a RAW (RAF) image from Bridge into the RAW application and make the changes I want. When I try to bring the image from the RAW dialog screen into PhotoShop however, I get only a blank white box. The image does not appear. Any suggestions?

Sorry, I can provide no solution but maybe you should also try

I am having some huge problems with my colorspace settings. Every time I upload my raw files from my Canon 5D mark II or 6D the pics are perfect in color. That includes the back of my camera, the pic viewer on my macbook pro, and previews. They even look normal when I first open them in photoshop. I will edit, save, and then realize once i've sent it to myself to test the color is WAY off. This only happens in photoshop. I've read some forums and have tried different things, but it seems to be making it worse. PLEASE HELP! Even viewing the saved image on the mac's pic viewer is way off once i've edited in photoshop. I am having to adjust all my colors by emailing myself to test. Its just getting ridiculous.

Check the color space in camera raw, the options are in the link at the bottom of the dialog box. Then when saving make sure you save it to the srgb color space when sending to others. Not all programs understand color space and or will default to srgb. That won't necessarily mean it will be accurate, but it will put it in the ballpark. Using save for web will use the srgb color space.

Bridge will do the job. View > Sort > ByType. Then you can choose a group of one type and put the files in a separate folder.

  • I can no longer import raw files from my Panasonic Lumix LX5 into Aperture 3.3.2 - raw files from my other Canon cameras are fine. Am still running Lion - NOT Mountain Lion. Tried all available software updates - no joy. Any ideas please?

I can no longer import raw files from my Panasonic Lumix LX5 into Aperture 3.3.2 - raw files from my other Canon cameras are fine. Am still running Lion (10.7.4) - NOT Mountain Lion. Tried all available software updates - all up to date apparently but still no joy. OS X Lion shows the LX5 as a supported file format. I dont want to have to upgrade to Mountain Lion just to see if this solves the problem. Any ideas please.

Since when did this happen? Directly after you upgraded to Aperture 3.3.2?
If it happened directly after the upgrade the problem may be, that the raw support for your camera got lost. For some posters it helped to register the raw support again, see this post by Alan Roseman:
Aperture 3 preview of raw file greenish
If this does not help, you may need to reinstall Lion to bring back the raw support.
But if the problem occured independent of a new installation, ypu may have a problem with your camera or the card you are using. Have you tried to use a different card or to reformat the card in the camera?

  • RAW files from Olympus C-5060WZ are not supported

I've found out that although iPhoto supports RAW files from C-7070WZ, it does not support C-5060WZ. And that's a big issue for me, because I have a lot of ORF pictures from this camera. Is there some workaround for this? Or maybe I can hope that support for my camera will be added in the future?

    Drolevar:
Welcome to the Apple Discussions. If you can find an application that can convert those photos to a DNG file format iPhoto will be able to handle them. Adobe has a free DNG converter available here: http://www.dpreview.com/news/0609/06091901adobecameraraw35.asp. The following page will list the supported cameras: http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/cameraraw.html. If you don't see your camera try it any way. But be sure to use it on a copy of the file as it converts the original if you're not careful in setting up the options.
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 08 libraries and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

  • How to convert raw files from new fujifilm x-t1 ?

how to convert raw files from new fujifilm x-t1 ?

The work around of converting the CR2 to dng either with the dng converter or ACR 6.7 will allow working in LR and CS5 but not with the latest raw conversion engine from Adobe i.e PV 2012.
Remember to keep a copy of the CR2 files if you wish to utilize the Canon software.

  • When I open CR2 RAW files from Powershot G10 they are in black and white. How do I get colour

I'm using Elements 13 on a PC running Windows 8.1. Each time I open a CR2 RAW file from a Canon Powershot G10 it displays in black and white. The image transferred to Elements is still in black and white. Why can I not see the image in colour?

Try holding down your Alt or Option key. The Cancel button in the Raw dialog will change to Reset.
Click on that Reset, and hopefully it goes back to defaults.
