    Have you redeemed your iTunes card to an account associated with an Apple ID?
    Once you have your iPad associated with an Apple ID AND you have an account with a credit card associated with the same Apple ID AND you have some 'store credit' (from redeeming your iTunes card) then purchases use the store credit before they charge the credit card, so you should be ok!
    Personally, I use 'store credit' as a way to monitor whether or not there have been any 'unauthorised' purchases because as soon as the store credit is zero, the security code from the credit card is needed for further purchases!  It does mean that I have sometimes to top up store credit before making a purchase, but 'better safe than sorry'!

    As I was saying, I have an iPod Touch which I bought this Summer on August, and until recently it never gave me a problem.
    I recently downloaded a "free" app (which means, it's partly free, so if I want it completely I should buy one of the "extensions" it has).
    Well, today I was trying to buy an "extension" for an app. I did everything as per usual, but for some reason, there appears to be a message that I can't buy it with visa, when I've already bought other apps and things online with the same card, without a problem. Which should cross the option that the problem resides in the card (I also contacted with the bank and everything was as per usual with the card).
    Also, a friend of mine has this same app and for this person everything went smoothly without a problem.
    Does anyone of you know what is the problem or what should I do?

    The message says: "The payment method has been denied, try another method"
    I'm living in the same country and city since I was born, so I don't think the location is the problem.
    And yes, I paid with the card a meal in Burguer King today. And nothing more.

    The thing is it could be the company that processes the sales for Adobe. Most companies use a third party for credit card purchases. If that company only offers visa, mastercard and AMEx, then not much Adobe can do about it other than find another company, but if the price is right, not much of a motivator to switch companies.
    That said, I am only assuming, they may be doing all sales in house and just never thought about the discover card.
    You could see if your bank can cash the card, take the cash and put in a pre-paid visa card. Most banks, gas stations, and major stores sell pre-paid visa cards.

    If Apple doesn't have an iTunes store available in your country, you can't purchase anything from the iTunes store. In order to purchase content from the iTunes store available in another country, you must have a credit card or payment method with a billing address in that country.

    How to reset your Apple ID security questions
    Go to appleid.apple.com and click on the blue button that says 'Manage Your Apple ID'.

    I think it has more to do with licensing. You can only buy music from the store for your country. Unfortunately, if your country doesn't have a store yet, because they are trying to do everything legally, you can't buy anything.
    Even though I'm in the US and can buy from the US iTunes store, I can't buy anything that is on a different store. So, for example, I can browse the Japan store, and there may be a lot of things that I want to buy, but I'm not allowed to because I don't have a Japan billing address.
    I asked their support when the Japan store was opened why I couldn't buy from it, and that-the legality and licensing concerns-is basically the answer that I got.
