I have imac intel core2 duo 2007, it comes on and you can hear the fans run but the picture does not come on.

Startup in Safe Mode
A Safe Mode boot takes longer than a normal boot so be patient.
Once you are in Safe Mode, click the Apple menu icon top left in your screen.
From the drop down menu click Restart.

Properly applying the Combo version of updates can sometimes correct software problems, but, if your trouble is caused by a hardware problem, there are no user serviceable parts of iSight.

My computer comes on but with the loading bar under the apple logo. The bar only loads partially and then the computer shuts off. I've tried turning it on again more than 5 times and the same thing happens. Does anyone know how to fix this?

We have an iMac OSX Lion.I received a CD with photos on it by a friend of mine. She scanned the photos to her computer and gave the disk to me . I installed it yesterday. I can hear the disk spinning but no pictures come up. What would be the problem?

Welcome to the Apple Community.
If your problem persists get yourself a micro USB cable (sold separately), you can restore your Apple TV from iTunes:
Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
Reconnect the power cable (only for Apple TV 3)
Open iTunes.
Select your Apple TV in the Devices list, and then click Restore.
(You may already have a micro USB cable if you have a camera or other digital device)

You have no chose but to restore your phone. What do you mean "lose everything"? Is your data/iTunes content not on your computer?

I have transferd music from my ipod to my new computer and some of the files are not coming over, i have noticed the m4a files come across but the mp3 do not, any ideas how i can resolve this? thanks

I have just bought a new computer and i am transfering my music from my ipod onto my new computer, I have put the files from the music option from my ipod onto my computer. alot of the songs have come across, however there is alot of songs that havent. I have noticed that the m4a files come across but the mp3 does not. the new computer has windows 8 on it, which is very new to me. when i try and play the mp3 files, it will open them up in a different programme and will not open in itunes. does anyone know what i can do?!?!!?!?!

I have a macbook pro. It is three years old. It has been working perfectly fine. However, as of yesterday, whenever I push the "on" button, the computer does not turn on. The little light comes on indicating that the computer has started, but there is nothing on the computer screen, and it does not make the usually noise that it makes when it cycles on.
Any suggestions?

Check the battery status to make sure it has a full charge (and that the charger is working). Then make sure the screen backlight is turned up.
If the backlight is up then, try forcing the machine to shutdown (hold the power button for 5 - 10 seconds). Then restart the computer(listen for the start up chime).
If the computer does start up and you still cannot see anything reset the PRAM by forcing the machine to shut down (hold power button as before), then press the power button and start holding the key combo
<Command>+<Option>+p+r
until you hear the start up chime two or three times, then release the keys and allow to boot

You can only import photos from the camera roll into the computer. Is that the album that you are seeing?
Any albums that you create on the device itself (the iPad that is) cannot be transferred to your computer. iPad created albums do not contain copies of your photos but merely pointers to those photos so they do not actually exist in those albums.

Help! I am trying to get at my iPod (2nd Gen) from a new computer. I have iTunes loaded but the Setup Assistant doesn't come up to allow me to access my iPod Shuffle. When first using iPod, the Setup Assistant comes up but not 2nd setup?? Thx.
