You need the Domain.sites2 file that's located in your Users/Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder in order to be able to manage and publish the site from another computer?
Do you have that file? If you do copy it to the same folder on the other computer and you're ready to go.
If not then you'll have to recreate the site from scratch. Chapter 2.3 on the iWeb FAQ.org site has tips on using some of the existing files, image, audio, video, etc., from the published site in the recreation of the site. 1

Adding media directly to the media folder does not make it appear in the library. iTunes doesn't really 'look' at that folder except to go to specific files when you call upon them from a library. You have to drag new content to each user's library, that is assuming each user has their own library.

I'm not clear on what you're saying about your backup. Are you saying that when you connect to iTunes it's asking you to restore from backup even though you already have?

My MacBook Pro freezes whenever I try to type in a text field

In the past couple of days, out of the blue, My MacBook Pro (early 2011, Logic Board replaced twice by now due to video card issues) freezes whenever I try to type something in any text field of the system or or other apps.
Specifically, whenever I try to search for an item in spotlight, or search for a "help" item under each application's help menu, even when I try to type in the adress bar of (any) of my browser(s). The crash causes all running apps to freeze for a few seconds and makes things work drammatically slower.
I'm on 8GB RAM so I think this is ridiculous and I cannot think of any third party app causing the issue, since I have not installed anything in the past few days. I Also resolved and deleted any fonts that seemed redundant and/or probematic (I do have a lot of fonts installed as I am a graphic designer, but again, no new fonts were added any time recently).
Any help would be appreciated!

If the song does not appear in your Purchased folder, then you can go back to the Store, select the song again, go select "Buy", and press Enter. iTunes knows you already purchased it, so it won't charge you again. It will, in fact, tell you that you have already purchased this item, and will ask you if you want to download it again for free....
Just in case it is not to be found in the Purchased folder!

Hi Rosemary,
These devices will get very warm (even uncomfortably so) when charging. From my own experience this is exacerbated if the device is in use at the time of charging or if the device is in a case that does not allow air to reach the device.
You will see a warning on the iPad's display in the form of a yellow triangle and exclamation mark long before the device reaches a dangerous temperature.
As long as the device is no warmer than a nice cup of coffee, you're in the clear.
As you have mentioned that your battery is draining quickly, this could indicate that the processes running at the time are rather intensive on the iPad's resources and this would naturally raise the temperature of the iPad.
If you have a look in Settings>General>Usage and look for the Standby and Usage times toward the bottom, are the two numbers significantly different? If you see that the Usage and Standby times are identical then you are experiencing a software issue where the device is not entering sleep as it should when not in use.

MacBook Pro freezes when I try to open anything

Whenever I boot up my MacBook Pro, I let it warm up for about 5 minutes. Then, when I try and click and click on anything, like the browser, the whole computer freezes and the only thing I can do is force it to shut down by holding down the power button. Then I boot up into safe mode, restart the computer and everything works fine. Anything know what the problem is? Thanks

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:

ITunes freezes whenever I try to open it

I installed the latest version of iTunes (7.3.1) and QuickTime. According to Apple Software Update, both of these programs are up-to-date. However, iTunes freezes when I try to listen to my music library by clicking on a song. I have already uninstalled and installed iTunes & QuickTime several times to no avail. Is anyone experiencing the same problem as I am?
Any suggestions?

Solved my own problem by dumping all of the newly imported files in the trash and emptying the trash. Twas a case of overload it seems.

I HAVE A USER ID, A SYNC KEY BUT NO WORKING PASSWORD ; CAN I CANCEL THIS ATTEMPT AND START OVER again.

i followed all the directions e ,mailed to me ,but when i tried to sync my iphone the error message said incorrect password. I then asked for a second set of instructions and redoubled my efforts and still no sucess i tried to reset tghe password but I don't have a sync tab setup under firefox/tools/options. If allowed to cancel the sync key and start over again knowing the pitfalls I have encountered I would be succeswful. i THINK FIREFox is the best system I enjoy using it every day. thankyou

On the iPad tap Settings > iCloud
Toggle Documents & Data off then back on then restart your iPad.
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button down until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPhone. To turn iPhone back on, press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
On the iMac open System Preferences > iCloud
Deselect the box next to Documents & Data then reselect it then restart your iMac.

How big is your hard drive, and how full is it?
Did you happen to download any system cache cleaners? Those can damage its ability to function.
Have you tried repairing permissions?
Is your data backed up?
Is Spotlight indexed?
Is the Mail trying to load an IMAP, POP or Exchange account?
