If choosing a separate internally mounted disc in my Mac Pro do I partition the complete disc and if so what are the steps to do so

Model/year MacPro? What version Mac OS? should put it in your profile>
If your using the whole drive for Windows then format the whole disk. The Windows installer has to be the one to set the format the last time.
You do have to do one of theses first, put the new Windows HD in slot #1 or pull all the other HDs out in order for Windows to install.
Read the Installation Guide, Boot Camp 4.0 FAQ and the WIndows 7 FAQ on the main Boot Camp page a couple of times and it will seem easier and easier each time you read them.

From the other post you link too, I can confirm that both the Root and Subordinate CA have been commissioned with the:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\CertSvc\Configuration\IssuingCA\CSP\AlternateSignatureAlgorithm = 1
registry key set. As can be seen above, the Signature algorithm on an issued certificate is RSASSA-PSS. This is been Microsoft suggested deployment IF you do not wish to support either XP or Windows 2003 machine and lower. In fact, I believe the option has been around since Windows 2008, however, there were of course, a lot more XP machines back then.
The obvious answer is that we would like to maintain the updated algorithm, AND see support for it added for Firefox. I think you will see a LOT more posts like this as people deploy more 2012 PKI infrastructure supporting only Windows 7 and up. Heavens, we may well be forced to Chrome or even back to IE!!! Whilst I do not what to necessary open up other potential vulnerabilities, for the sake of testing, what do you mean by disabling mozilla:pkix?

Windows 7 Home Premium COA sticker illegible - Options for Windows 10 install?

My laptop's Window's sticker is very worn and I can maybe make out a character or two, but certainly not the full key to do the Windows 10 install. I have my recovery discs for re-installing my original system but that's not helpful for this upgrade. Microsoft chat was less than helpful. What are my options? Will the key that a program like Magical Jelly Bean Key work?

Yes.
OEM just means that the Windows OS is dedicated to that computer only. If you sell, replace or throw away the computer you use it on, the Windows CD/DVD goes along with it. (According to the Licensing dialog)
Just do a Yahoo/Google search for prices is the only way to find it cheaper. Or keep an eye on your favorite web store for sales.
If you are in college and have an .edu e-mail account thru the college then Microsoft has it for about $30 US. And other deals also.

Create Recovery Disc For Windows 7

I have HP Pavillion p6310y desktop with Windows 7 (not sure 32 or 64 or whatever)
My computer got virus infection. These virus are located in very low level of hard drive. Also there are other virus. Virus supporters want to remove these virus, but they are afraid my computer may be unoperable due to virus location level. They ask me to get rescue or recovery disc for the computer
Now I searched to create rescue disc via link http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01867124&tmp_task=solveCategory&lc=en&dlc=en&cc... , but I couldn't find "recovery manager". I do see recovery via control panel, but couldn't find a way to bring a image like link shown.
Anyone can help me to create the recovery or rescue disc for the hp?

A: I previously posted this "Windows 7 64b A1NAv6PrA1 + Supp 7 Recovery Kit" which states 64bit. Additionally, here is a link to your computer's specs... click on the "+" under "Software" at the bottom of the page.

A: A virus, almost any virus is incapable of causing physical damage to your computer. The only damage they cause is to your data, installed programs, OS, and maybe your wallet. All it takes to remove most viruses is to format the drive.

How can I get a disc for my oeprating system. Cannot get Boot Camp drivers (for Windows XP) installed

I've partitioned my Time Machine HD for the 32GB/FAT format of Windows XP/Home Edition w/SP2. The installation of Windows proceeded OK. However, after installing Windows, ejecting the W-Install disc, and inserting my MAC OS X Leopard disc, the "setup.exe" file does not open. If I start up in Windows, I cannot open the Opt. Disc drawer since the BC drivers are not installed; if I insert the OS X disc in the drawer, then restart in Windows, the "setup.exe." file does not open.
Where do I go from here to install the Boot Camp drivers for Windows? These drivers are needed for 'normal' Windows operation, and are required in order to install the Boot Camp update. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

while you are in Windows and have the Leopard DVD inserted, can you access the content of it using the Windows Explorer ?
or maybe this hint on MacOSXHints can help you access the Windows Content of your Leopard DVD while in OSX http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?story=20080708145453136
If so, you can try to copy the Windows Content onto a USB Memory Stick and use it to install the drivers.

You don't need the key if You upgraded from Win 7 and want to do clean install. It is important that you first upgrade from Win 7, not Win 10 clean install! "If you upgraded to Windows 10 on this PC by taking advantage of the free upgrade offer and successfully activated Windows 10 on this PC in the past, you won't have a Windows 10 product key, and you can skip the product key page by selecting the Skip button. Disc for Windows 10

This is just a comment. I phoned Microsoft today to ask fo a disc for doing a clean install of windows 10. My Laptop is only 2 weeks ol. So want a clean install. Technical staff will tell you how to download etc. do not want to give you a disc unles you pay! Cannot understand what a clean install is. So at moment do not phone asking for one as you spend 45mins going round in frustration. Good job I am loyal to Hp or Laptop would be going back!!?

at this point i have not seen any windows 10 disc yet at any store and it may come at a later date and it is possible to find maybe at later date to get windows 10 iso disc that you can download from microsoft and burn which i have not tried to go that far yet but what i have done for my desktop pc is get a second hard drive and i went from there but for a laptop hard drive replacement can be tricky cause of the newer models which i just looked my my new 3 month old laptop does not have a easy access to the hard drive w/o taking the laptop apart which at this point i will leave it alone for now but the only upgrade i can do easy is the ram which i can put the second ram card in it

Tx2510us - Fingerprint Reader Not Detected after Service Pack 1 for Windows 7 installed

Have had Windows 7 32-Bit installed and running fine since early last year.. Today Windows Update installed Service Pack 1.
Now, the fingerprint reader (AuthenTec AES1610) is not detected. Digital Persona reported the fingerprint reader isn't connected and the Device Manager shows installed and working properly.. When the computer boots, the logon screen shows not detected..
Have seen several older posts that reference a page with a fix for AuthenTec/Digital Persona, but get a 403 error when trying to access..
Hoping someone still has this info, or possibly there's a new fix to work with Service Pack 1..

Followed the given advice: installed SP1 again, ran Firefox in safemode, disabled other running programs as mutorrent, still Firefox didnt work. I had internetconnection (after restarting mutorrent this did work, the app telling me what the weather outside is worked) but no Firefox: as previous time I got the start screen, but could not browse the internet.
I also tried to start the Internet Explorer and it also looked as if that application had problems (but that can also be because I did not use it for a while - old version or whatever - and it is not my standard browser).
Have again performed a roll back in order to remove SP1, now Firefox works again.
If somebody has advice it would be very welcome!

Kinect for Windows not installing on Bootcamp

I'm trying to install the Kinect for Windows v2 SDK on the latest version of Windows 8.1, on a Mac with Bootcamp. I have the latest Mac Book Pro 15" and my graphics card is the NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M. What gives I thought this would for sure work,

What's the error you're getting? Run it with admin permissions.

Both the links are working for me. Did you try more than once? Also, can you try to download the packages from a different network if you encounter the failure consistently? There could be some restrictions in your network causing this failure.

Cant uninstall iPod for windows before Installing 7.0.2

Im using Windows XP. When I tried to install iTunes 7.0.2, it told me to uninstall previous iTunes software which I did. Then during installation is out up error message cant install until I uninstall previous iPod software. I have a program called iPod for Windows listed, but no matter what I do in the Delete Program it wont uninstall. Cant go any further. I also uninstalled Quicktime already from a related topic.

I finally gave up on iTunes 7. After uninstalling iTunes 7 and reinstalling iTunes 6, my iPod became more reliable and Windows XP would consistently mount it. Even though iTunes 7 is well conceived, I founded considerably slower than version 6. The slowdown becomes apparent when iTunes automatically starts with connecting an iPod. Syncing the iPod with a large music database will cause a slowdown; even a crash.
I do not believe that iTunes is multi-threading well on Windows XP. My other syncing applications do not put a strain on my computer’s resources. My computer handles Photoshop 10 megapixel processing and a 2 gigs bi-directional sync over my network without a hiccup. iTune grinds my computer to a halt with just a 2 gigs syncing to the iPod. In addition, all startup items were disabled in the troubleshooting process.
Even though features like the Summary tabs and view by album art appeal to me, I will hold off on the iTunes 7 upgrade in place of speed and reliability. I have a couple recommendations as well. These suggestions are for people with large music databases and a large number of hard drive and firewire devices.
TURN ON – Automatically update selected playlist only

If you restore you iPod, leave your computer alone for several hours while iTunes fills up a large capacity iPod. It took me all weekend to reload my iPod.

Flash Player for Windows - Silent Install

I push the Flash Player ActiveX control to all of my workstations, but now I have a user that need Flash Player for Windows so he can open Flash content within certain .PDF files. I've downloaded the installer (Flash_Player_Install.exe), but I don't know how to make this install silently.
It's only one user now, but experience tells me that it will snowball quickly.

The Adobe Flash Player 11.7 Administration Guide focuses on the browser plug-ins. More troubling is that Page 3 of the administrator's guide states:

This may mean that I can't get what I want out of this.

about 200 gigs left on my 500 gig hard drive
Running Snow Leopard
If i buy windows 7 (32 bit) and install it on here (just using boot camp, no parallels) how much should I partition. The main purpose is to use an HDPVR I have to capture my gaming consoles. I also might do some gaming with Steam. What is the recommended partition?

for Windows 7 a minimum of 40GB is recommended.
Add to that the amount of disk space needed for the programs, games and the files you work with.
A "typical" size for a Windows partition is not there, since it really depends on the useage of Windows.
