I have installed a Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit on Boot Camp for my MacBook. Once I use the Windows side of my Mac, I can't connect to the Internet wirelessly because it requires some sort-of network adapter. I was told by a friend I need to update the drivers on it but I don't know how. HELP!

It appears you did not follow the instructions when you ran Bootcamp Assistant. The first menu item was to download the Windows Support Software. This software contains the drivers you need. After starting Windows you then install the Windows Support Software you downloaded in step 1.
If you did not download the Support software, run Bootcamp Assistant again and select only the option to download the support software.

For drivers for your hardware (printers, AirPort cards, GPUs...), they are done through Software Update, so open it and check if you have updates. If so, install them.
However, note that third-party peripherals (external drives, routers...) may not be updated through Software Update. In this case, you should contact with the manufacturer in order to get the latest drivers for these devices

You need to purchase a retail Leopard install disk or Snow Leopard upgrade disk(if your computer meets requirements for SL). Then update iTunes to 10.1 or greater. Check eBay or Amazon for retail Leopard Disks. You can also try calling AppleCare.

What Vaio Models Are The Updated Drivers For Windows 10 Going To Be Compatible With?

I have a Sony Vaio (Model Number: VPCEJ16FX) and am wondering what models of Vaio will be supported by the updated drivers?

I understand that Sony is not to support endless models of the computers that have been placed by them out on the open market, however Microsoft itself has found a need to include windows 7 computers within their list of computers eligible for a free upgrade. As such, when Sony tells us that they will not participate in the upgrade, they essentially tell me that if they create a product that fails, that they will not support it at all, and leave all their loyal customers to fend for themselves. I have been a long time supporter of Sony and have unbelieveably been an ambassador for their company, for years since I was a child, I owned Sony Walkmen, minidisc players, DVD players, televisions, ALL OF MY COMPUTERS EVER WERE SONY, sony rewards, sony wheelers (wheel of fortune) club, Countless car stereos, home stereos, Sony dream machine alarm clocks in every room, playstation, PS2, PS3, periferals, cases, Imagestation, Sony eMarker, many of which have failed, and we accepted those failures in fact and still continued on supporting your innovation and knowhow because you continued support or somehow some way still found a way to make things right, KEEPING OUR LOYALTY!!!! And now we find ourselves here, a company that's failing little by little, when I see that they do not support drivers for computers they built NOT THAT LONG AGO, and which Microsoft themselves will support, it makes me wonder. I have a Y50-70 and have upgraded to Windows 10. Everything seems to be working ok, but I noticed there are a collection of drivers on the download page for this prodcut. It seems like the drivers for a number of these things was upgraded to a newer Windows 10 version as part of the upgrade, but these are Microwoft drivers. Do I need to install these Lenovo drivers? For example, there audio driver on my machine is now a version 10.x from Microsoft. The one on the download page is listed as specifically for Windows 10 but is version 6.x (probably a Lenovo version). It has always striked me odd that a computer owner needs to monitor these drivers manually. It seems to me something akin to "Windows Update" should be watching over the drivers for us. Perhaps even Windows Updat itself with the vendors sending in their drivers, or addresses to the drivers for Update to send out. thanks!

From what I understand with Windows 10, and please any pros out there can correct me if I am wrong, but Windows now will automatically update the drivers and if you choose to install a different driver, it will re-install the windows driver. This has been a big bone of contention with the NVidia drivers since NVidia wants to control their drivers through its own interface (GE Force Experience), but Windows 10 keeps overwriting any driver one tries to instal from a 3rd party. I believe the only exception would be if Microsoft does not have a driver for said hardware or feature. There is supposedly a short term workaround and supposedly a feature called "slow ring" or something like that to allow you an option to receive automatic updates at a later date than they are normaly pushed. I'm not sure if this answered you question fully but Microsoft has confirmed that if you change driver updates, Win 10 will just update it again using what Windows believes you should use. Satellite L350D-213 - Updating drivers on Windows 7

Bought Satellite L350D-213 mid Nov. Pre-loaded with Winodws 7. System auto detect on Tosh site shows that whole batch of new Windows7 drivers issued on 3/12/09. Was wondering whether I need to install all these drivers.
Up to now only prob has been webcam "locked by another application" which hours of web searching showed to be very common prob. Downloaded latest webcam driver issued on 3rd Dec. Cam ok at moment but only time will tell. Is it advisable to go through the whole list of applicable drivers or leave things as they are. Don't want to cause uneccessary probs.
Any advice welcome.

Its nice to read that your webcam works properly now and this would be also my suggestion to update the driver regarding this issue.
However, if your computer runs properly now I dont see any reason to update any drivers. Why you should do this?
I think drivers are only released to solve problems on other notebooks or compatibility issues so if you dont have problems you must update nothing. I can recommend never change a running system! ;)
So have fun with your notebook dont bother about updating drivers.

For some reason, the HP support program will not update my video card drivers and I cannot use an HDMI cable to connect my DVD in my computer to my Samsung TV (not a smart TV). The program to download updated HP drivers is also not working to download drivers and goes in an endless spin and never identifies the needed driver. Should I delete the support framework and reload it or use something else.

HP ENVY 17-j021nr Notebook PC Need Display adapter drivers for Windows 10

I upgraded to Windows 10 64 bit. After the install my side monitor did not come on. I thought I would have to manually update the drivers. They said that i needed a higher level of support and transfered me to a different department. This unknown to me named department states that there is a fix for this. That I would have to pay for at least 1 day of support so they could remote into my system and correct the issue. I said how much? They said $100 I simple need drivers that will work for my video card so that I can start using the HDMI output on my laptop. I need the Nvida card to operate at peak performance at some point but for now I am simply asking for compatible display adapter dri vers.

I just installed the full release version of Windows 8 (available through my University) in boot camp. However, the drivers for several devices aren't working properly and should be updated. My question is, if I update the drivers so that the devices are compatable with Windows 8, will the drivers then be mismatched when I revert back to OSX?

HP does not support consumer notebooks for 32 bit operating systems.
Try the W7 32 bit drivers and software from the HP Probook 450 G0, except the BIOS, firmware, audio and graphics drivers.

Need Palm Bluetooth Drivers For Windows 7 64 Bit

I am a long time Palm Pilot user and I have been there through all the trials and tribulations. I have just bought a new computer running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit edition and I am trying to find the drivers for Bluetooth sync.
I am using a Palm Tungsten E2 and the Palm OS 6.2 and with the computer I am currently using (Windows 7 Home Premuim 64-Bit) I sync via Bluetooth and never had any problems and want to keep it that way.
WyreNut and several members did a lot of work when Windows 7 first came out and helped a lot fo people with synch issues. I have searched the Forums and cannot find a link to where I can download the Bluetooth drivers so I can synch my Palm Pilot via Bluetooth to my new computer.
If someone could kindly point me to where I can get the Bluetooth drivers I will be grateful. Thanks so much.

Hi, please clarify as it sounds like both your old and new computers are the same OS.
As you know, the E2 has Bluetooth built-in. There are no Bluetooth drivers to download.

I need help updating drivers, please.

I've got an older MSI MS-StarForce GeForce4 Ti 4200 VIVO card installed in a Windows XP box.
The card is running NVIDIA v5663 (MSI Version) drivers. MSI Live Monitor tells me there are new drivers for my card, these are the NVIDIA v6121 (MSI Version) drivers.
I've let MSI Live Monitor download the drivers 3 time now; each time setup goes through the motions of installing the drivers and reboots my computer.
When I again check on the driver version for my video card in Device Manager, it tells me I have NVIDIA v5663 (MSI Version) drivers installed, these are the same old drivers I had before.
It seems the new drivers can't install for some reason even though I completely disable Norton A/V before I start downloading the new drivers.
Can someone give me some tips as to things to do so that I can finally install the new drivers for my video card?
