Call Apple Care. You are still under warranty. You also have 14 days from the date of purchase to return your iPod with no questions asked.
Take FULL advantage of your warranty. Posting on a message board should be done as a last resort and if you are out of warranty or Apple Care has expired. -
I backed up my iphone 3 in preparation for moving to iphone 4S and before i changed the sim card I discovered my notes had been wiped! It looks like this is quite common but can anyone tell me where the notes I backed up on itunes would be???
In the iPhone backup. Right click on the phone in iTunes and choose "Restore from Backup".

I had PS Cs6 and signed up for PScc but now i have Cs6 extended, how can i fix this?

The creative cloud has three version of Photoshop all are Extended CS6 version 13.1.2, CC version 14.1.2 and CC 2014 version 15.2.2.
CS6 perpetual Windows is CS6 version 13.0.1.3 and either Standard features or Standard features and extended features are enabled.
The perpetual an subscription versions are different the subscription version has a scripting bug fix not the perpetual version and the perpetual version has some plug-in support that has been removed in the subscription version. I kept the Perpetual version installed on one machine and installed the subscription version on my other machine.
CS6 perpetual and CS6 Subscription versions can not co exists on a single machine.
If you now have CS6 13.1.3 I think the only way back to CS6 version 13.0.1.3 may be to use Adobe cleanse to wipeout all Adobe applications then clean out any Adobe rat dropping that may still be on you system in your windows registry and in your user id application data like Photoshop preferences. once you do the you may be able to install your old perpetual version of CS6. The you may be able to download the direct installer for Photoshop CC 2014 and install that and activate it with a sign in you Adobe User ID that has the cloud subscription -

The original phone would be disabled due to alot of attempts of the wrong passcode. If all your contacts are on the cloud at the moment, you would be able to just set the iPhone 4S up with iCloud on it then Turn On "Contacts".
This would be bring all the contacts down from your iCloud onto your 4S.
But you will only be able to merge your contacts with the cloud when your original iPhone either has been enabled or the passcode was entered.
If you have previously already had iCloud on that device and have contacts Turned on, you will be able to just enter the same Apple ID you used for iCLoud on your original phone and use it on your new one.
Your able to check what content your iCloud holds via www.icloud.com
If you are unable to get past the disabled screen, then unfortunately the device will have to be put into recovery mode and then restored via iTunes NOTE: This will delete all data. -

You can also do a clean reinstall and download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
You can initially skip the step to create a new profile, that may not necessary for this issue.

I had the geek squad from bestbuy supposedly install iphoto 11 on my mac but it is not there and when i try to download it it say the app has been download by another user on this machine. Assuming you've done a system wide search for it including the Applications folder and it's not there......
I think you will need to address this with them - did you pay them for the application? Or was your purchase price to include it? And the question(s) to ask them:
If the app store states that it has been downloaded, ask them where it is and which Apple ID they used. (the store keeps track of Apple IDs and machine IDs on everything you download).
I have absolutely no faith in their advice; however, in this case, it's not so much technical advice, but an answer to your questions: you paid for something and it appears not to be there. -

Do you already have the Kindle app downloaded to an iPhone or another iPad? Do you have "Automatic Downloads" turned on under Settings>iTunes & App Store for Apps on your iPad?
You might want to try touching and holding the Kindle App option in your Purchased list, and when it highlights, let go, and it will go to a a detail page for the app with another "Open" option on it. See if it will open from there.
If you do have Automatic Downloads turned on on the iPad, turn it off, and then go back to purchased to see if the Kindle is still showing as "Open".

Why am I getting this App Store message:
The product distribution file could not be verified. It may be damaged or was not signed.I had the same problem. Spoke to Apple support who directed me to Itunes support. Frustrating to say the least. Some have said remove virus barrier. I did and still nothing. Some posts have said to delete App store. DON'T DO IT.. App store is tuff to get back. This did work for me. Go to Finder, then go, pick go to folder, type in, /var/folder, and delete (send to trash). There were 2 folders I had to delete, KX & XX, and as soon as I sent them to the trash they returned but I was able to download & intall Mountain Lion and working well. Good luck..

You've checked the purchase history on your account via your computer's iTunes : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it. Click on that and you should then see a list of your purchases.

If nothing shows on your iTunes purchase history (you don't have a Mac and have any purchases in the Mac App Store), and you only have the one account, then you should contact your card issuer.
