HT4009 Getting charged twice to get Amplitube in-app
I have previously paid for and registered my Amplitube apps - Amplitube, Amplitube Fender and Amplitube Slash. I bought these apps from the iTunes store and they downloaded as stand-alone apps for my iPhone which isn't particuarly useful because they are designed as add-on or expansion apps for the original Amplitube app.
Recently in this last week IK Multimedia (who publish Amplitube) have upgraded it to 2.0 or 2.5 (I forget which) and it allows in-app purchasing of the other two apps (the amplitube fender and amplitube slash apps) and when you purchase them in app (for the same price as the standalone) it allows the content from all the apps to be linked.
I chose to download these via the in-app service assuming that because I'd already purchased them before and then registered the apps then surely I couldn't be charged a second time for getting what I had assumed I was downloading in the first place.

You may also want to turn off in-app purchases via Settings > General > Restrictions > In-App Purchases 'off' -

Can someone please tell me why when i order an app on my sons ipod, do I get charged twice for it? When I tried do report a problem with the charge, it said that I can not get a refund on that item. This is the second time this has happened to me. Does it have anything to do with having more then one ipod linked to the same account? Thanks for any help you can give me!!!
It has nothing to do with have more than one device using that account.
After you purchase it once, you redownload it on other devices by the following, not like purchasing a new app.

Make sure that they are really the same app first. -

Contact the iTunes Store staff, or the application's creator, or if the purchase was charged to a credit card, dispute the charge.

i got charged twice for a movie (Safe House). Can i get a refund for that? we were not able to finish the movie last night, and now we're trying to watch it again. We have an hour left, however the apple tv is still loading the movie again for 2 hrs & 46 mins.

Apple's policy on sales of digital content is that all sales are final. If however you wish to appeal to Apple, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History. -
Back in 02/2012 I was charged twice for "Kingdoms at War" , 200 Nobility points, A thinking Ape. I didn't order this. I have changed my password twice. I just updated my account info to use ITunes for downloading music and a charge for $39.98 was taken from my account for this again. In researching this, it appears that "Kingdoms at War" is a free app. . . so someone must have accessed my account to purchase gold. . . or ITunes erred. How do I get this resolved? I would like to use ITunes without being forced to pay this $39.98.
