You are not stupid. It's not that at all 
I think what through me is that this app I believe is for an iOS device such as an iPhone or and iPad ?
I see an app in the iTunes Store that's called:  TIMER : MINUTES TO GO   for $.99.
Is that it? You only pay one time for the app. If you need to re download the app you can do so for free.

    There are no refunds for this.  Once you click buy it is bought.
    As for the 6 charges, just report the issue to itunes, they will resolve.

    Is the address on your iTunes account exactly the same (format and spacing etc) as on your credit card bill : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646 ? If it is then you could try what it says at the bottom of that page :
    If the issue persists, contact your credit card company and verify that they and any company they use to process credit card authorisations have the correct information on file.
    And/or try contacting iTunes support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

    When you tried to contact Support with the card's images how were you trying to do it, on your phone or a browser on your computer ? And have you tried a different browser to see if you get the same error message ?
    As well as images of the card they might also want an image of its receipt.

    You may use store credit to pay for your iTunes Match subscription, however a valid payment method must still be on file at the time of sign up.

  • Credit card charged for $80, not on bill or owed

    While going through my credit card transactions, I found a charge for ~$80. I looked at the bill from comcast and nothing shows that I paid or owed those $80. I would call customer service but I work during the hours that it is open. I was thinking of opening a dispute with my credit card, but first I want to see if I can get this resolved. Thanks.

    Your email address is also used as your user ID. When you log in, it would like up with your new acct as well. If your new address is not showing, you'll need to link it to your user ID.
    Sign in to My Account.
    Click Billing and Payments.
    At the top of the page, look for Service address | Rename or link another account.
    Click on Rename or link another account.
    In the new window, click Add an account.
    Enter the account number and, if you’d like, create a nickname for the account. Click Confirm.
    If you have more accounts to link, you can click Add an account again.
    When you are finished, click I’m done.
    That will allow you to view your new account and statements. Your previous account is no longer active. A credit balance was transferred over to your new account already.

    - You can try editing your acount to say none for credit card but usually that opion is not avaialbe.
    - Purchase an iTunes gift card and redeem that for the payment method.

    Yes.  With a standard account you need a valid payment method even for free apps and updates. You can create a new free apps-only iTunes account that is good for free app.  You will still need a valid payment method to update any apps purchased with the other account.

    I was trying to upgrade to iOS 6 but kept getting an error message and disconnecting. I then decided to backup my phone then restore it to the factory settings.
    When I was in the process of using the 'restore from backup' feature, it only brought in my contacts but not my photos and apps. Anyone know what went wrong and how I can get my photos and apps back?

Some carriers do, but most require you to sign up for the service and pay extra. You can call your carrier and ask if they have any tracking service available to you.
    If your carrier does not offer such a service and you did not set up Find My iPhone, then there is no way to track the unit. Contact the police and change any passwords for any online accounts you may have used from your iPhone (the iTunes Store, for instance).

    It sounds like you wanted to purchase this app from the App Store, and you created an Apple ID, entered your credit card info, but have not yet been able to verify your Apple ID email address.
    This article shows how to resend the verification email to that email address:

    When you first create an Apple ID (using your email address) a verification email will be sent to that address. If you sign in to your Apple ID from the link in that email, the email address will be verified as the primary email address for your Apple ID. You can also resend the email verification if the email address is not verified:
    1. Sign in to My Apple ID to manage your account information.
    2. Click Resend under Primary Email Address.
    3. Verify your changes by following the link in the email you will receive from Apple and signing back in to your account.
