You need a credit card associated with your iTunes account in order to do an in app purchase. If you don't have one set up yet, sign into iTunes on your computer and select Account under the quick links to edit your information, or go into Settings>Store/iTunes on your IOS device, select your AppleID when it displays. Once you sign in there you can edit your payment information there.
Once your payment info is set up on your iTunes account, you just click on the in App purchase you want, and when it asks for your AppleID password, type it in. It will charge the purchase amount to your credit card and download the in App purchase.

HT4009 How do I cancel in apps purchasing for yearly suscription which I did intend to?

I recently downloaded TripIt. When I tried to figure out the things accidently click on a link and take me to purchase the service with no price displayed. I thought it was free. It actually did purchase one year of TripIt Pro Services for $48.95. How can I cancel this service. Is anyone done it before? I can't see any # to call hence try to use this community support service. This is my first time. Please share information if you have any.

Apple's official policy is purchases are final. You can contact customer service and ask about a refund but there is no standard procedure.

You should perhaps disable features on your phone that simplify making purchases so as to make purchasing items a more focussed procedure.

I recently purchased an App and was asked by email to review it. However, clicking on the link took me nowhere. Clicking on Report a Problem was even worse as it said I didn't have the latest browser.
I was led to believe that Apple stuff was user-friendly!
