MacGourmet would be through the Mac App Store, not the ITunes Store, so if you're looking in iTunes, you're looking in the wrong place. You need to be looking in the Purchases area of the App Store app.

if your Mac monitor has Thunderbolt ports, and the PC monitor is on the end of the daisy chain, then you might be able to do it by connecting your PC monitor’s VGA cable to a Mini DisplayPort-to-VGA adapter (e.g. Apple, NewerTech), connecting that cable’s Mini DisplayPort end to one of the Mac monitor’s Thunderbolt ports, and then connecting a Thunderbolt cable between the other port on the Mac monitor and your MacBook Pro. -
So, I bought the iPod shuffle and when I plug it into my mac, the option of syncing doesn't appear. What do I do?
Does the Shuffle appear ini Tunes at all? If not try using a different USB port and double checking to make sure the other end of the syncing cable is firmly seated in the Shuffle.

Buy version 2011 of MS Office.
Or you can download OpenOffice, LibreOffice or NeoOffice, which all come very close to working with MS files just like MS Office does.

I need to change the home folder name. I just bought this mac today and my cousin put his name in because he had to back up his phone while we were still at the store so he could get a new phone and now my brand new imac says his name in the home folder. This is very frustrating. I would not have let him put his name in there if I didn't think you could change it. Someone please help!
Delete his user account and create your own, using your name.

If you BOUGHT Lion from the Mac App Store, which is the only place you can buy it from, then it will be in your Purchases area in the Mac App Store once you sign in using the same Apple ID you used to buy Lion.

Did you fail to import them before restoring from backup? If so, then they are gone.
You should import all photos taken with the iphone to your comuter regularly as you would with any digital camera, most especially before any update or restore. -

iWeb and iDVD are no longer. If you have a DVD with iLife then you can install iWeb from that DVD. There are other applications like iWeb such as RapidWeaver and SandVox. Otherwise, you will need to purchase an iLife boxed set from a third-party vendor such as amazon.com.

I have just tried to connect my Mac book pro to an LG Plasma TV via an iWires Mini DisplayPort to HDMI cable. All I get on my TV is the Mac wallpaper and nothing else. I am missing something really silly, could anyone help please.
Hi there. I also bought an iWires mini Display port to HDMI cable and have an LG LED/LCD TV. I plugged it in to my MB Pro and followed the very small writing that came in the package and got both audio and video going. You need to change the audio settings from within System Preferences on your Mac to select your TV as the audio output.
My concern is the data latency - do you experience a delay between moving your mouse on the MBPro and the TV displaying the movement? It is only a fraction of a second, but certainly enough to be annoying, especially in a cable as expensive as the iWire. -

You are right, Adobe does not support CS5 because it is no longer sold.
Simply download the trial version of CS5 from this Adobe web site and input your serial number.

Bought a mac mini and have music files from my old windows PC on a USB drive. need to know how to transfer all the music from the USB drive to itunes so I can sync them with my new ipod.
Choose Computer from the Finder's Go menu, double-click the icon for that drive, locate the song files, drag them to any location inside the Home entry, open iTunes, and drag them from there into it.

I bought the Mac version of Premiere Elements, can I get the Windows version for free or cheap with my serial number? I'm about to migrate back to PC soon and I'd love to not have to buy the program again since I just bought it. Under my order history though it only shows it for Mac so I wanted to make sure.

If you want to explore that type of purchase which offers the perk of a Windows and a Mac installation disc, you need to purchase from an authorized reseller who is not going to offer you "upgraded pricing". Did you purchase your Premiere Elements 13 Mac from Adobe direct and are within 30 days of purchase? If so, you can contact Adobe Chat Orders to ask for return/refund. And, then you can explore the authorized resellers for pricing and availability of the box packaging. Maybe check out the pricing all around before making any final decisions.
