HT4009 I keep getting a message about contacting Apple Support when I try to make an In-App Purchase

I have tried multiple times to get an In-App Purchase. All I keep getting is a message saying it cannot go through and to contact Apple Supportwith a cutoff Web Address. Anyone else ever run across this message?

Yea, its just wanting you to contact Apple so you can speak with iTunes Support so they can verify your identity and make sure nobody is trying to use your account unauthorized. Call 1.800.275.2273 or go through the Express Lane to send an email to iTunes support

Have you tried contacting iTunes Support and asking them ? We are fellow users here on these forums, it could be due to a number of reasons, we won't know which one.

why do i keep getting the message "Please contact iTunes support to complete this transaction."? Oh, and I would love to contact support but they are never open for business when this happens to me so I was hoping someone knew what the heck was going on. I love my ipad and hate that I can't get the in app purchases that I need in order to advance to the next level to buy if I don't want to start the whole game again!! Please help. Did you follow the instructions in the message and contact Apple, which you can do through iTunes Store Support. If Apple have asked you to contact them, then the issue can only be resolved by them.

You can go to Applications, Utilities, Activiy Monitor to see just how much space is available. To free space you need to remove files that take a lot of space, things like videos, photos, music. Get an external hard drive, OWC http://www.macsales.com has a good selection, and move material off the internal drive.

Common on jailbroken iPhones, not so on non-jailbroken iPhones. Thus, if your phone is not jailbroken, restoring from backup will hopefully fix the issue.

My friend is trying to purchase an IAP on Adobe Photoshop Express, however they get an error saying "Can not buy this item. You must buy the application to which this item is intended to buy the item" when they try to make an In app Purchase". Everything other app is working fine.
Any thoughts/suggestion to make this error go away?

I suggest trying the update again after an hour or two. Sometimes, the notice that an update is available comes an hour or two before the developers actually sends the revised app out to be downloaded.
