Updated iTunes to 10.5, iTunes won't work now! Everytime I open iTunes it just freezes and I can't click on anything. It says to take it out of compatibility mode and still doesn't work! any help??

did not download the in-app purchase at time of original App download, now I cannot figure out how to find and download the in-app purchase. Please help!

My daughter made a $49.99 in-app purchase of 1400 gems for Home Design Story. She says she does not know how she purchased it. Is there anyway to remove that from my purchases?
Apple allows apps to list themselves as "Free" if the initial download is free, even if the app has kid-oriented inducements for costly in-app purchases. The in-app purchases are almost always ridiculous, over-priced game accessories, of which your example of "1400 gems for $49.99" is right up there. It is way too caveat emptor for my taste, but each consumer can form their own opinion on that.
To Apple's credit, they have a good record of granting refunds providing you explain the extenuating circumstances (purchase by a minor) and only ask once. Contact iTunes Customer Service.
As roaminggnome notes, you need to place restrictions on the devices. The restrictions are off by default, so you need to take action to do this. See this document: iOS: Understanding Restrictions -
i have purchased a in app purchase of a 'gcsepod' for my little brother however the purchase does not come up in the app and requests me to buy another. How do i solve this? I have also got the receipt for this purchase.

Best step in my view is to make sure you don't get similarly involved in future. You must know roughly what you were doing. Then writie it off to a not to be repeated experience. -
I've canceled the billing info, got an app store pre paid card and still can't download any apps! Free nor purchasing! Help!!
If you're in the USA, it would be hard to zero balance a gift card just with purchases as there are sales taxes in most areas that you don't know the amount of until the purchase is complete. My guess is that the issue is with the last purchase, there wasn't enough credit left on the card to cover the sales tax.

Contact iTunes store support for this. Go to http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ and click the blue link next to the green shopping bag. Follow the steps and send them an email explaining your issue.

Can find my iPhone be turned on remotely? I had it turned off, and twice in the last month I've found that it is turned on and someone was tracking my location. I'm a little freaked out! Is there any way that someone could be turning "find my iPhone" on remotely? I was under the assumption that the only way to turn the service on was from my phone itself.. Is there any way that my phone is somehow resetting itself to a time when the app was turned on? I'm just grabbing straws here... I have no idea. I just know that the location arrow came on at the top of my phone, and it showed that someone was tracking my phone at that very moment... Any help would be appreciated!

A few days after i've updated to iOS 8.1.1 my iphone 5s died and isn't turning on and its not charging. i have my legit charger that came with my phone and after 6 months it stopped working, i even have a charging case and that wont charge it. Wow that was really quick, thank you so much. Im not sure at all which version it was because i said it was around 4 years ago he bought it. I know it isn't under his username, since he's a PC person (ugh) so i know its probably registered to one of our actual names. isn't there some way to look it up since we did register it, because I'm not even sure where the disks are from when we bought it (we've moved a lot and also have two storage lockers, i know i would have kept it with other disks) but my cd rom drive is actually broken on my computer as well ( i think it got stepped on and is now squished and won't eject or run disks.)
So is there anyway they can look up that its registered to one of our names since we did register it when we bought and installed it, or do i really have to find the disk with some sort of proof of purchase (i know there would be no receipt after all this time)
either way, ill do what you suggested to the best of my abilities and thank you so much for answering my questions, i can't even open the program as its incompatible and find out the info from that) so I'm in a bit of a pickle and your response was so thorough and it didn't seem to be posted long enough to even write a well researched response, thanks, all the best,

I have read the thread about turning off dialpad sounds when calling a number. I used to always be able to do this on my 4S but not so since the latest software on the 5. Keyboard clicks are turned off and still have dialpad sound. I've NEVER had to mute to dial before.
I really do not think it is the iPad or your network connection. Other users have reported this very same issue. Try this and see if it works for you - it may not work - but it's easy to try - harmless - and it has worked in the past for others.
Try signing out of your account and restart your iPad.
Go to Settings>Store>Apple ID and tap the ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button. Go back to Settings>Store> Apple ID and sign in again. -

We still don't know your model--OSX is the operating system, not the hardware model. Please do "About this Mac" from your Apple menu to see a window like this:
Please tell us what your computer shows for the contents of the two lines I've indicated with red arrows. The processor type will at least tell us to which of the four basic iMac families yours belongs. That's a start and can help you avoid getting advice that is not appropriate to your Mac model.
