HT4009 Seems the "report a problem" process has changed. Keeps sending me to the iTunes store. How do I report a problem?
I had purchased a game app, then inadvertently repurchased it through in app purchases. How do I get a refund? and why didn't itunes show it as downloaded it usually does for this sort of thing?
There is a very distinct difference between the purchase of a game and the subsequent purchase of an "in-app" purchase. You bought the game first, then made an in-app purchase. Many, many games have in-app purchases .... Coins, gold, berries, additional levels.
I assume that you actually purchase two different items, the game itself and an in-app purchase - and if this is correct - you did not purchase the game again, you purchased a game add-on or enhancement.
You made a separate purchase. That is why it did not show up as installed.

Ok, so I just worked out that itunes communicates through your browser so it's a cookie in the browser not PC direct that fixes this. Bit of a convoluted route but for me it was IE>Internet setting>privacy>sites, then allow all activity from apple.com/itunes.

If you've bought them on your computer's iTunes then they should have downloaded into the Music part of your library. To sync them to your iPod, connect the iPod to your computer and select it in your computer's iTunes - with the current version of iTunes, iTunes 12, you should (when a device is connected) get a device icon towards the top left of the iTunes screen, next to the icons for the types of content (music, films etc) in your library.
Selecting that icon should let you select a Music screen for it, on which you can select which of your iTunes music library to have on the iPod -

I have checked the box to delete it from iCloud. However, when I put the songs back into iTunes and run a match, it appears Itunes has "remembered" that I uploaded them previously and doesn't look if there is a match in the store. It is really frustrating because I know the files are there on iTunes, and I want to upgrade them with the 256 ACC iTunes match version. Any help?
If you downloaded it on your computer's iTunes then it should be in the Books part of your library, if you downloaded it on an iOS device then it should be in the Music app on it. If it's not there, and you don't have a copy of it on your backup of your library, then you will need to try contacting iTunes Support and see if they will grant you a re-download (audiobooks are currently a one-time only download from the store, which I believe is a requirement from audible.com who supply them) : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

They should you if you do the roll back properly... Opening files from the Previous iTunes Libraries folder in Windows Explorer simply opens the current library. If you don't see the .itl file extension then don't give your copied and renamed file the extention or iTunes will create an empty library rather than using the renamed file.
If you had a complete pre-problem backup of your library you could restore that. On the assumption that isn't possible I have a script called ExportImport that could in principle be adjusted to save the relevant data from a backup of the library database and then reimport that data into the current library. I have the latest version of iTunes. Today I did a search for a particular song. In the past, I used to get a list of the song and the various artists who recorded it, and I could click the little arrow and play a preview of that song before I decided to buy it. Today the results didn't display that way - instead, I got a page with probably 50 or 100 songs all spread out across the page, and the "writing" was all overlayed so you couldn't quite tell what you're supposed to see! I want to go back to the "list" view but couldn't find anywhere to change the view preference. Any idea how?
