I bought some gems on Reign of Dragons a few days ago and was told on the screen that the payment was complete and if I still do not recieve anything within the hour to contact itunes support. Days later I am still trying itunes support but instead of getting help I can only find FAQ. Now I may not be looking in the right place but I have no idea what to do now in terms of contacts or steps to resolving this, and help?

Backup first
It is always best to have a full bootable backup before you upgrade. If you fail to do this you will be unable to return to this OS if you decide you don't like the new OS. Also there is a slight chance that an install could lose everything on the Mac. The backup must be to an external hard disk. Preferably use Carbon Copy Cloner to make a bootable backup of the whole disk.
Erase before the install
Once you have a bootable backup on an external disk it is best to erase the internal disk with the new installer DVD before you install.
During the install
Preferably do not import any data or preferences from earlier OSs during the install process as this can reintroduce bugs.

HT2905 This is all well and good if you only have a Few DUPLICATES in your Library. But what if you have Hundreds, because every time they come out with a New Version of iTunes, you have to Re-Import all of your Songs and Playlists into your Library?

What is the easiest way to Automatically Remove Duplicates from my iTunes Library (instead of doing it one by one, which is unfeasible when there are Hundreds of duplicates from installing the newest version of iTunes, or putting it and all of your songs on a New Computer, and it loosing track of all of your File Folders and Playlists, so you have to re-import everything, hence why the Thousands of Duplicates...
I know there are programs you can BUY that will remove Duplicate Tracks from your iTunes Library, but iTunes is Free, so why should I PAY to fix something that's screwed up about it?

See my tips on duplicates. If iTunes creates duplicates when you add content then it is a failure of the workflow you are using.
Upgrading iTunes should have no adverse effect on your library, however you should maintain a backup regardless.
See also this migrate iTunes library post on moving the library to a new computer properly so that there is no need to reimport any content and no lost ratings, playlists, play counts etc.

To know where the Spotlight file is, highlight it in Spotlight and hold the Command key, so you will see its location at the bottom of the window

But my 1 tb hdd is already formatted via ex fat which can work on both mac and Windows no limitation of file size also like if we use ntfs or fat it has a restriction of 4gb file size.

I solved my own problem. Hopefully this will help someone else.
I did a DFU restore, then started it up as a new phone on iTunes. Everything loaded properly, then from iTunes did a restore from backup, selected the one I wanted and it still took me to the same screen with 3 options of restore. I chose the start up as new phone from the actual phone and after all the syncing was completed, my phone is back in working order.

My iPhone shows 1.0GB of memory used by Mail. I've emptied all mailboxes and folders but still show 1.0 GB

After upgrading to iOS7, I noted my iPhone 5 shows 1.0GB for Mail in the Usage list. I've cleaned out all mailboxes and folders but still show the Mail app as using 1.0 GB. Am I missing something?

In any case, I'm posting this to help others. I can't say with certainty what fixed this for me, but my hunch is that deleting (and then re-adding) the iCloud account on BOTH my iPhone and iPad had something to do with it. Or maybe it was launching/syncing via Mail.app, and/or giving it some time. Or maybe those prayers had something to do with it after all.
The funniest part about all of this is that my whole iPhone backup (with small Camera Roll) takes up 3.6 GB and my whole iPad backup (with even smaller Camera Roll) takes up 1.4 GB... so I'm still right up against that 5 GB quota, and will still end up paying $20/year for the extra 10 GB of space anyway. The files that I'm trying to burn come from eMusic, and they are formatted mp3. Recently, (after the iTunes update to 9.2.3?,) they would not drag and drop from iTunes into Toast. From several different discussions I've tried working around this by dragging to the desktop first then dragging and dropping to Toast, going to Toast from a programmer's homemade help window, " iToons," and today, after talking with Apple support, going directly to Toast from my eMusic folder. Alas, all recordings do not perform like they use to. Sometimes they play and sometimes not. There is one I managed, that is listenable, but sometimes I have to put it in my car stereo over and over again as it gets ejected with an error code, sometimes, finally it takes it... Some of the recordings on other disks I've burned are not clean - they have white-noise sounds creeping in... I use to have none of these problems. One time as I was listening to a CD that managed to play, and it just stopped playing... Is there an answer out there to get back to how it use to be? Thanks for you help.

Many thanks for your answer, i use windows 8.1! I have found the problems: For install the news version the install need the old installer (but i delete all installer, cause they use a lot place on hard drive (SSD)).
I have desinstall the whole Adobe and réinstalled it, i have save the whole installer on a external disk. So when the installer asked the old installer i indicate to programm my external disk ans all works good now.

Then you need to contact iTunes support.

Try and force the iPad Recovery Mode
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
3.While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: Data will be lost. You may have to repeat the above many times.
