I just redeemed a free book from Starbucks. Now I can't get out of the store and back on my bookshelf! Please help!

Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with iBooks. If you accessed the iBook Store though the iBooks app, then you should see “Library in the upper right hand corner, similar to this image (except on the right):

Alternatively, it might be that the Starbucks app exited you from iBooks, so you might have to just reopen the iBooks app.
If you are still not seeing your collection of books, I recommend quitting the iBooks app and relaunching it. Use these steps to quit iBooks:
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app's preview up to close it.

IPhone 4s call waiting; how do I get back to the first call?

When I'm on a call and a second call comes in I tap "hold current call and answer." I get connected to the second call and the first call is put on hold. But when I am done with the second call, how do I get back to the first call? I can't find any way to get back to the call that is on hold. I usually end up hanging up on both calls. Not good.
Also, how do I switch back and forth between two calls? How do I put the second call on hold, go back to the first call to tell that person I must call them back, then return to the second call?

I have no idea what you did or what happened - but I can assure you that loading from a different camera does not create a new library
So you need to supply information and someone here will assist you in sorting this out and figuring out what you really did
What version of iPhoto do you have? What version of the OS? Why do you think that a second library has been created? What do you see when you launch iPhoto with the optipon kep depressed and use the select library option? Where is your iPhoto library normally?
Anything else you can tell us that might help?

You need to look for your itunes library under Computers and select it, then music.
Music column is for web based content not local content, just to confuse everyone.

Thanks for your help. What is really irritating is that Apple give a big hurray about what they have added as "new" in Pages 5 (most of it pretty useless) without telling you of the myriad things they have deleted. If they had shown the list your gave the link to, I doubt may regular users would risked going to Mavericks with its auto upgrade. My partner got the message in time and is sticking with the earlier operating systems and Pages on Mac and iPad. Lucky girl.
I have found a way to use my iPad to add chapters written while on the move to reports on my iMac Pages 4.3. If I write it on the new Pages on the iMac (don't seem to be able to revert there), the send the report as an email in WORD format (not Pages) and download it in the Text Editor, then cut and paste into the story on the iMac. Hardly elegant but it works.

If the menu bar is hidden then press the F10 key or hold down the Alt key, that should make the menu bar appear.
Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"
* If items are missing then open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout"
* If a missing item is in the toolbar palette then drag it back from the Customize window on the toolbar

These timezone definition changes are fairly common, when viewed world-wide.
For notifying Apple, contact the folks at the Apple Support Center or (if you have access) log a bug report. (The folks at Apple might or might not notice any postings made here.)
For the immediate case, updating the timezones yourself is straightforward; the sequence is basically the same on Linux, OS X, Unix and even OpenVMS. Ugly, but it works. (The US folks got to see this mess first-hand a few years ago, but there are other locations that see these sorts of timezone definition changes far more often.)
For those following along that aren't familiar with this sequence, this old posting should get you close when rebuilding your definitions, though the timezone database has moved to IANA.

In that case press My Songs to get to screen where the songs are displayed. Then you can press the + at the bottom of the screen to create a new song where you can experiment. Or, as Carolyn says, press Instruments, however in this case anything you want to record will be added to or overwrite part of the current song.
