HT4059 I cannot access the ibooks store

I cannot access the ibooks store, and when I try to delete the ibooks.app, I am not allowed. Please tell me how to access the ibooks store on Mavericks OSx from a Macbook.

When I try to access the ibooks store, my screen jumps from the library to the ibooks store, showing nothing but a blank white screen, and that screen is perpetually in the 'loading phase'.
So I don't get any errors or access to the store. I just keep on getting stuck while the ibooks store is 'loading' without getting anywhere.

  • HT4059 I can access the ibook store but when I press "buy book" nothing happens.  what could be the problem and potential solution?

What are the potential problems if I can't actually buy a book from the book store.  My credit card is up to date, I am signed in.  So what could be wrong?
    Thanks, C

Go to the Music section of your Library (very top-left corner) and see if your songs are there. The "Purchased" playlist may have been deleted or gotten corrupted, but if that happens it's not a big deal because your music should still be in your main Music Library.
If your music is NOT in the Music section of your Library, then go to the iTunes Store homepage and find the Quick Links list on the right side. At the top of that list, click Purchased and you can redownload all of your previous content that you might have lost.

  • IPhone no longer syncs with computer--"Cannot access the iTunes store"

My iPhone 2G has decided to no longer sync with my iTunes. I do not have internet on my computer (I'm doing this on a friend's), so when I connect my iPhone to my computer, an error message pops up that says "Cannot access the iTunes store". Since my iPhone is normally synced manually, I can still drag new files onto it; however, any movies/podcasts on the iPhone keep reappearing even after I've deleted them (from the iPhone itself). Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Delete then re-install iTunes & Delete the following files:
The iTunes application (located in /Applications)
    com.apple.iTunes.plist (from ~/Library/Preferences)
    iTunes.pkg (from /Library/Receipts)
    iTunesX.pkg (from /Library/Receipts)
then re-download the latest version of iTunes.

  • HT201209 Cannot access the iTunes Store in iTunes.

Cannot access the iTunes Store.  I have downloaded iTunes 8, but still cannot access the iTunes Store.  It shows my Apple ID once I login, but no error message and no right-hand column (or anything) under the iTunes Store window.  Any ideas?

    This might provide some help.
    Can't connect to iTunes store
It could be a firewall or security software confict that is preventing the connection so you could try disabling those and see if that helps.
Restart/reboot your iPad and maybe that will help as well.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

  • HT204053 I cannot access the app store because it wants to access an @me Apple ID that no longer works. How do I eliminate this ID so I can access apps?aid

I cannot access the app store because the iPad is requesting a password to an Apple ID that does not exist. The app store seems to be using an @me iCloud address as the Apple ID. This is not my ID or email addresses. How can this be changed to my Apple ID?

Easy, just sign out then back in again.

I cannot access the iTunes store from any of my computers.  When I updated to v. 10.7 it made my laptop unable to access just like with my two desktops. I have installed and uninstalled numerous times.

Nothing happens.  iTunes just hangs up every time, saying "Accessing iTunes Store."  It does that for a very, very long time, then nothing.  Here is what happens when I run diagnostics.

There's an article that goes over what to do when you're having issues connecting to the iTunes store:
Can't connect to the iTunes Store

You'll want to follow the steps in the "Troubleshooting on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch" section.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.
Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
    Restart your router.
Reset the Apple TV (Settings > General > Reset > Reset all settings)
Restore the Apple TV (Settings > General > Reset > Restore)
