HT4059 I recently lost all info on my iPad, luckily I had recently backed up on iTunes.  We I restored it my iBooks didn't bring my files.  I have the properly labeled files in the collections, just no files.  How do I get these?

I recentlyl lost all info on my iPad, luckily I had recently backed up on iTunes.  When I performed the restore, everything came accross except my iBooks pages.  I have the proper files in my collections, but the information in the files is not showing up.
How do I get this lost information back?

A backup doesn't contain any of your iTunes downloads or the contents of the Music, Videos or iBooks apps. If they are ibooks and they are still in the store then you should be able to redownload them via the Purchased tab in the ibookstore in the iBooks app. If they are PDFs and/or epubs from other sources then do you have copies of them anywhere e.g. are they in the Books part of your computer's iTunes library or elsewhere on your computer ?
