HT4059 Ibooks download is not the book I purchased

I downloaded a sample of a book on my Iphone from Ibooks. Then I bought and downloaded the book. When I select it to read, its a different book, not the one that I bought. I deleted it and redownloaded the book again. And it still is not the book I orginally purchased. How do I get a refund? Or the correct book?

Try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that book and use the 'Report a Problem' link.
Some people have had a problem with the 'report a problem' link (it's been taking people to this site on a browser instead of showing a form in iTunes) - if it does that to you then try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page.

Mine does the same thing occasionally, is your phone jailbroken? Sometimes it will work if you delete the book and reinstall it or put your phone into airplane mode then turn it back off.

I previously owned an iPad. I want to restore my iBook collection from my iPad to my Macbook. I can only see my collections but not the books. How can I restore it from my iPad backup?

I prevsiouly owned an Ipad. Before selling it, I backup it on my Macbook. When the new Mavericks has been released, i upgraded my Mac. Now that I have iBooks on my Mac, I want to restore my iBook collection from my previous Ipad to my Mac. On my Mac, I can only see the iBooks collection of my previous iPad but not the books that I have purchased. I probably had more than a hundred books on my collection (in epub and pdf formats). I have already tried transferring purchases in iTunes and adding to my Library but to no avail.
Can anyone give me a solution to this.

Restore as a NEW device to test. If this solves it, that means there is some corruption in your backup file, or maybe it's one of your apps causing the trouble. If the problem is still there, you should take it to the Genius Bar at an Apple Store for evaluation.

Ibooks doesn't show the books

I tried to configure the books from my pc to Ibooks. But Ibook doesn't show the books...

I don't have this problem, but just a thought... have you tried signing out of your apple id and re-starting iBooks?
You can sign out in 2 places.
1. In iBooks, by tapping on your apple id down the bottom left hand side of the page.
2. In iPad Settings, then store, then tap apple id.

Re iBooks author, assets of the book

I need to make changes in the assets of the book, not the book itself. Will I have to re-upload the book to iTunes Store?

Producer should load just the changed data. That's the way it used to happen before 2.8 and I haven't had to try this since the update.

The lack of details in your post makes it really tough to figure out what you are talking about. What do you mean by iBooks doesn't open the books? You do realize that you have to actually buy the book to read it. When you tap on a book in the iBooks store, it does open to a description of the book. That is how it is supposed to work.

Check permissions and ownership of the files. Maybe this helps....

Cannot install FP - The version downloaded is not the newest

I cannot install Adobe FP. Having dowloaded the latest 10.1 version from http://get.adobe.com/ru/flashplayer/, when running install_flash_plaer.exe I get the error message. It says that the version I've downloaded is not the latest and I have to visit http://get.adobe.com/ru/flashplayer/ in order to get the newest version. I've done it about 5 times... nothing changes. What is the problem?

First download the uninstaller for Flash from here : http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/uninstall_flash_player.exe
Make sure all your browser (IE, Firefox, Chrome or Safari) are closed, run that file (Flash Player Uninstaller)
Then download the Flash Player from here : http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_playe r_10_active_x.exe
Run it and make sure you are logged in with Admin account on your computer.

HT4059 The book I purchased will not download.

I purchased a book from iTunes and it will not download. I get a message confirming my purchase and to tap download. I've followed the directions dozens of times but still no book.

Have you tried deleting the book from the bookshelf and redownloading it via the Purchased tab in the iBooks app ? (And for the epub version did you still have the ibook version in the app - that shouldn't have affected it, but there's a small chance.)
If you get the wrong book again then try the 'report a problem' link to contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com

I want to preorder a book that will be available this fall, but I'll be living abroad for a short time when it's available for download. Will the book download for me while I'm living abroad, or do I have to wait to get back to my country?

Specifics are: Currently living in the U.S. and will be studying abroad for a semester this fall in London. I want to preorder a book that comes out in October and be able to read it while I'm over there, but I don't know if the book will download for me since I won't be living in the U.S. Has anyone had any experience with this sort of thing?

Thanks for your concern M.r kamran well, i am doing OCA or certification for 11g i thought its the latest thing i am really new in this field and have no idea about this world..as you said that the book i m reading which is ...Oracle Database 11g: SQL Fundamentals I Exam Guide (Exam 1Z0-051)..you said that this is book is enough but the thing is i am not satisfied there are only one lab question and 10 MCQS after each chapter which is i think is not enough to clear the exam...so the problem is i need some material or work book any exam patern or something like that ..where to buy them or how will i get approach of these things? so please if anyone knows where to get those things and how..i will be so much thankfull ..
