Can iBooks export PDF files to other apps? For example I have a document in PDF format which need to add in digital signature but iBooks do not have "open in" feature to export the document to another app which I can make a signature with stylus.

No (or at least I've ever found a way to do it). You should be able to copy them from iBooks to your computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases and you can then copy them into a different PDF app.

Anything Downloaded with a Particular Apple ID is tied to that Apple ID and Cannot be Merged or Transferred to a Different Apple ID.

HT4059 Ibooks no longer works for bookmarks on IPAD 2 since IOS 7 Upgrade

Since upgrading to IOS7 on my Ipad 2, the booksmark feature in IBooks no longer works. If you close the book and reopen it will take you back to the beginning of the book. Very difficult to read a book and keep track of where I left off. Since the upgrade, I have not read a book on my IPad and this has been painful. Starting to wonder if they will fix the issue or if I need to move onto another device such as the Surface or Galaxy 10.

My Iphone 5 (6.1.3) was working perfectly with my Apple tv3, streaming videos, musica...
I have just upgraded both and....No AIRPLAY, Both connected, both with internet conexion but my apple tv somehow does not work properly (my ipad retina does not pick the ATV neither)
I have restarted it three time as well as conected it to itunes to restore it 3 o 4 times now...
Just getting bored...
I have restarted the router too (oddly enough someone, somewhere suggested it) but no luck so far.

HT4059 iBook store button inactive and cannot access iBook store.

I can't access iBook store, the store button is inactive, uninstalling and reinstalling the app doesn't fix the problem. I don't find any other button in the iBook app that allows me to access the store. Please help!

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Navigate to Settings > General > Restrictions (enter your passcode if required-this may not be the same as your screen lock code), scroll down to the section 'Allow' and ensure you are allowed to use the iBookStore.

HT4059 iBooks 2/ iBooks Author

There is neither iBooks 2 nor iBooks Author in my App Store in my iPad2. There is a video in the apple website showing how students interact with their iBooks/notebooks on iPads. I don't own a computer because I don't like computers. Is a computer required for apps like this?

Lion may still be available if you call the online Apple Store, though a couple of recent threads have reported it as no longer available. If the Apple Store still has it, they will ask for your Apple ID and credit card number and will then send you a code which you can redeem in the Mac App Store.
Alternatively, you may still be able to find the USB installer at a local Apple Store or an Apple dealer, though available stocks will probably disappear quickly if they have not already. Otherwise you'll have to look for the USB installer on the open market, such as through eBay or a Mac User Group. Those USB installers are starting to rise in price.
An alternative, if your MBA supports it, would be to upgrade directly to OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion. With either Lion or Mountain Lion, confirm compatibility of your exising applications and peripherals before you upgrade.

I purchased a book on iBooks and every page has an error message: error on line 1 at column 1: encoding error. Has anyone encountered this? Any ideas or suggestions? I paid for the book...how do I get it back? Thanks

Have you tried deleting the app and re-downloading it ?
If that doesn't fix it then try a reset and see if it works after the iPad has restarted : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

HT4059 Ibooks download is not the book I purchased

I downloaded a sample of a book on my Iphone from Ibooks. Then I bought and downloaded the book. When I select it to read, its a different book, not the one that I bought. I deleted it and redownloaded the book again. And it still is not the book I orginally purchased. How do I get a refund? Or the correct book?

Try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that book and use the 'Report a Problem' link.
Some people have had a problem with the 'report a problem' link (it's been taking people to this site on a browser instead of showing a form in iTunes) - if it does that to you then try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page.

HT4059 iBook glitch. How can it be fixed?

I have an iBook purchase that paused during download and it will not resume. I have updated the app and restarted my iPad. Nothing works. I am stuck in a loop of return to purchases.....but it won't work.

There is no hotspot icon.
My data plan with my carrier does not include tethering/personal hotspot. When I go to Settings > Cellular under iOS 7, there is a Set Up Personal Hotspot selection.

I am unable to search for any books apart from the ones that come free with the App. When I search on google iBook still shows an erro message" Your request could not be completed" any ideas why?

I just purchased a book on the iBooks app and when I tapped on it to read,it would not load. A notification popped up saying 'Failed to load book because the requested resource is missing.' I'm not sure what that means and don't know how to fix this. If anyone has any answers please let me know! Thank you!

HT4059 iBooks on iPad and iPhone problem

The books in my iBooks will not stay in the collection I put them in. They just keep returning to Purchased Books. But some will randomly place themselves in Books without being put there. I tried setting up a different collection and putting them all in there, but as soon as you exit the ap and come back - they are all back where they started from. I'm so frustrated! I also cannot get any books to delete. Can anyone help me?

I have an article here that I believe will go a long way toward explaining what is going on with your iBooks app:

Specifically, I believe this will address your questions:
To free up storage on your device while keeping your library organization, tap Delete This Copy. The copy of the book on that iOS device will be removed, but the cover of the book will remain in your iBooks library with a cloud icon visible in the upper corner. To download the book again, just tap the book cover.
To remove a purchased book from your library on all of your devices, tap Delete From All Devices. The book will be removed from all of your iOS devices, and its cover will only appear in the Purchased Books collection with a cloud icon visible in the upper corner. If you change your mind, you can download the book again from your Purchased Books collection.
So if your books are not downloaded onto the device, they will still show up in your iBooks app with the "download from iCloud" icon in the upper right hand corner, but they will only appear in the Purchased Books section. You will want to download the books you want onto your device, then arrange them into the Collections you would like them to reside in. Thanks for coming to the Apple Support Communities!

Swipe across the item in Purchased and tap Hide.

Why does iBooks fail to load some PDFs from safari? Sometimes it eventually load a file it failed to open up to four times for no obvious reasons.

My wife and I both have iPad 3s We use the same iTunes AC and can share music etc. I have downloaded a book from iBooks to read on my device but can't seem to get it on hers. Other free books seem to appear on both device Any suggestion would be appreciated.

You should, if they are still in the store, be able to redownload ibooks via the Purchased tab in the iBooks app on your iPad - you can have your ibooks on both your iPad and iPhone (though not all are compatible with iPhones), you are not limited to having am ibook on just one device at a time.
For epubs and/or PDFs you will need to copy them yourself between your devices, you can't use the cloud to copy them between them. You should be able to copy PDFs and/or epubs (as well as actual ibooks) from your phone to your computer's iTunes library via the File > Devices > Transfer Purchases menu option (and if using a Mac with Mavericks or Yosemite on it then do File > Move Books From iTunes in its iBooks app) and you can then sync them to your iPad by connecting it and using its Books tab.
There are a couple of settings in Settings > iBooks on your iPad and iPhone. One allows you to keep your ibooks bookmarks and notes in-line between your devices (Sunc Bookmarks And Notes). The second settings (Sync Collections) allows you to keep your collections in-line e.g. if you move a book or epub into a collection on one device then it will also be moved into the same collection on the other device - but that only works if the book/PDF is on the other device, it does not copy a book/PDF onto a device, you have to do the copying yourself.
