HT4059 The book I purchased will not download.

I purchased a book from iTunes and it will not download.  I get a message confirming my purchase and to tap download.  I've followed the directions dozens of times but still no book.

Have you tried deleting the book from the bookshelf and redownloading it via the Purchased tab in the iBooks app ? (And for the epub version did you still have the ibook version in the app - that shouldn't have affected it, but there's a small chance.)
If you get the wrong book again then try the 'report a problem' link to contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work then you can try contacting iTunes Support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

The book I purchased from the store downloaded but has errors, so the whole book isn't there.  I tried taking it off my Itouch and resyncing but that didn't work.  I don't think the book downloaded correctly in the first place.  How can I get my book?

  • Video purchase will not download

I am really hoping someone will be able to help me out on this one.
I bought a few music videos from iTunes, my first video purchase, and my first attempt to add videos to my iTunes library. The very first video in queue will not start downloading. I have DSL and no software running that would hinder. I have newest iTunes and Quicktime.
I know some of you sound like you have had similiar issues, but have received an error message. I have NOT received an error message of any kind. I am just wondering what could possibly be the issue. I am at a loss. I have been swapping emails with iTunes support for over a week now. Still no real resolution. Of course, like everyone else, I have already paid for goods/services that I have fear I will never receive.
Any help would be much appreciated, even if it just helps me maintain my sanity until the next undecipherable, non-applicable email from the support team. Thanks!

as for the TV shows: when your iPod is connected, click the TV Shows tab on your Summary page. What boxes are checked? If you want to have all TV shows on there, then you need to have it set to sync all TV shows.

  • I cannot download a song it says it has been corrupted and must go to store check for downloads and I do that and it says the same thing.  will not download I paid for it and can't download

I purchased a song but when downloading it says it is corrupted.  So I go to store and check for downloads and it does the same thing

I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not downloading properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the entry, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.
(Not entirely sure what happens after you click that link, but fingers crossed it should be relatively straightforward.)

  • The security add-on will not download.

I was using firefox when I got a pop up stating due to a security concern, I needed to download an upgrade to fix the problem. I have tried downloading this solution several times, and cannot download it. The auto-start download will not connect to server. If I go to Mozilla website and try that way, I am told the file is corrupt. I am running Windows XP.

It is possible that there is a problem with the file(s) that store the extensions registry.
Delete the files extensions.* (e.g. extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox profile folder to reset the extensions registry.
New files will be created when required.
    See "Corrupt extension files":
    *https://support.mozilla.org/kb/Unable+to+install+add-ons
If you see disabled, not compatible, extensions in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the Tools button at the left end side of the Search Bar ("Find Updates" button in older Firefox versions) to check if there is a compatibility update available.
If this hasn't helped then also try to delete the addons.sqlite file.
Which security software (firewall, anti-virus) do you have?
Some security software has virtualization or sandbox features that may cause problems by protecting and restoring files in the Firefox profile folder.
There are other things that need your attention.
Your system details list shows that you have two Flash plugins installed:
    # Shockwave Flash 11.7 r700
    # Shockwave Flash 11.6 r602
You should remove the older Flash 11.6 version
    See "Manually uninstalling a plugin":

  • Why do I find the Dogpile (search) addon will not download?

    I find Firefox-listed, in Get Addons: " Dogpile 20091122 " , by Ahmed El-Mahdawy, jtekUSA
    (Dogpile.com Web Search)
I click on the "Add to Firefox" green button; but I only get error message:
Firefox could not install the search plugin from "https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/downloads/latest/14038/addon-14038-latest.xml?src=ss" because an engine with the same name already exists.
Odd, as I can't find such an item in my Firefox addons ..... and I'm wondering if this problem might be linked to the yahoo search preference suddenly and unwittingly being applied to my Firefox addressbar.
Is the Dogpile addon incompatible with my Firefox; or has some buggorother corrupted my bits?
While I'm here, is there a safe way to lose the previous version (11.5 r502) of my Shockwave Flash plugin: I have disabled it to avoid any possible conflict with later version, but would prefer it was gone.

Thanks for trying; but I seem to be travelling backwards on this problem.
I have been using InstantFox addon very happily for some months; and had customised its options, replacing g-for-goggle with dp-for-dogpile and adding several extra search code options.
I'd also removed the redundant g-icon from my address box; as part of a simplification of toolbar area. I prefer to see no unused clutter 24-7. Now yahoo is suddenly the default search from the address bar; but there is no icon for it, to click on as you describe; and simultaneously my InstantFox 'dp(space)searchitem' won't work: I think it got corrupted last week when yahoo searches started.
Today I found dogpile search, as an addon, at this url:
    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/dogpile/?src=ss
I wrongly thought that might be a simple install; but it won't even download. As I said, I get the error message saying there is already a file with that name.
I now appear to have other problems in about:config:
    browser.search.defaulturl;http://websearch.just-browse.info/?l=1&q=
but what is websearch? it's new to me, and perhaps viral/trojan?
regarding flash, I said I have two date-versions of shockwave flash: not macromedia or adobe. neither will uninstall using win or iobit uninstallers.
    and I also don't know whether this win7 is a 64- or 32-bit OS.
I don't have time to chase around the wrekin at the moment; so I'll have to look into this poo in a couple of weeks or so.

  • In-app purchase will not download on my iPad air.

Received an iPad Air and went to buy an in-app purchase I had on an older iPad. Recieve You've already purchased this but it hasn't been downloaded. Ok. I press okay and nothing happens.

Reset first, then try it again. Hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until you see the apple, then let go.
