HT4059 where are my audiobooks

i just bought an audiboook, and i can see it in my purchased but i can't find it in any section. where would it be? and how can i sync it to my ipod suffle (3rd gen) and also my iphone (4)?

My 'Audiobooks' option was not showing up on my iphone under the 'more' button in Music and I couldnt search for my audiobooks through spotlight either.
I've just resolved my problem by opening up iTunes on my computer and connecting my device, clicking my device tab in the top right hand corner of iTunes and then going into the 'summary' tab. At the bottom of that screen under 'Options' I then ticked the box saying 'Manually manage music and video' and voila! (I thought checking this might erase everything on my device ready to re-install but it didn't, it just unchecked all the boxes under the headings of all the content on your device, ie Apps, Music ect) iTunes started to sync and all my audiobooks appeared in the 'On This iPhone tab' in iTunes and the 'Audiobooks' option has now appeared on my iphone under the more button with all my audiobooks in it.
I hope this helps

  • Where are my AudioBooks?

Where are my Audiobooks? Over the last 2 years I have purchased several Audiobooks and listened to them for the most part. Wherever I purchased them they showed up. I have a Mac Computer, iPhone & iPad and every one is different. Where are they? Everytime there's a system upgrade or update they seem to misplace them or move them. On iTunes there's a place for Audiobooks on the books section but there isn't a purchased button like on books? I don't get it! I paid $22-$30 for these Audiobooks and can't easily find them. A couple of times over the past 2 years Apple has let me redownload them because they went missing? Anybody else have this problem?

  • Where are my audiobooks that I have downloaded as free podcasts?

I have an iMac with 10.9.3.
For the past 3 years I have download free audiobooks as podcasts. I had approx. 20 books downloaded. Now all of them are dropped out of iTunes. I have not deleted them. Where can I find my audiobooks again?

Everything should be in the iTunes Media folder.

  • Where are my audiobooks on my iPad 3rd generation.

I Just downloaded several audiobooks from the Apple store. Additionally I have numerous audiobooks that I have downloaded from the Apple store over a long period of time. I cannot find them. occasionally I will find one of my audiobooks in "music".
Is there somewhere a list compiled of all of my audio books?

Audiobooks purchased from the Apple Store are a once-only download. If you have deleted them from your iPad you cannot download them again. If you ever bothered to transfer your purchases to iTunes on your computer you could find them on that.

  • HT201272 Where are the audiobooks and how do I get them back?

I can't find the audiobooks I have deleted from my iPhone and iPad to download again. Can anyone explain how to do this?

Audiobooks are currently a one-time only download from the store. Do you have copies of them in the Books part of your computer's iTunes library and/or on a backup ?  If not and they are still in the store, then you can try contacting iTunes and see if they will grant you a re-download : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

  • HT201272 where are my audiobooks gone?

I had audiobooks on my iPod touch.
I connencted it to my new MacBook Air, and now I no longer have them!.

Was that the first time that you had connected the iPod to that computer ? If they are no longer on your iPod then have they copied over to the Books part of your Mac's iTunes librrary, or do you have a copy of them on an old computer and/or a backup ? Audiobooks are currently a one-time only download from the store, but if you don'thave a copy of them anywhere then you can try contacting iTunes support and see if they will grant you a re-download : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

  • Iphone 5s - where are my audiobooks?

I am having trouble locating my audiobooks on my new iphone 5s. I have intermittent access to the books stored on my old ipod (although the "More" function in the Music section only seems to give me access to my old library when I am near my computer...), but the books I had stored on my iphone 4 seem to be gone. Other content from that phone was recovered from the Cloud, but not the audiobooks. Any suggestions would be welcomed.

Audiobooks are not part of icloud.
You should be storing all of your audiobooks on your computer.  Just sync them to your iphone.
You can only download them once.

I had several audiobooks on my iPad with ios6. After upgrading to ios7 I no longer can find them. Anyone know?

  • Where are the audiobooks in iTunes 12?

I just updated my devices to iOS8, my computer to Yosemite, and iTunes to 12.0, but now I can't find my audiobooks in iTunes. I went into preferences to check  the list of what shows up in iTunes, but I can't find that list anymore. How do I find my audiobooks? Thank you in advance for your help.

I can answer that!  The bar right under the play controls has all the options.  You probably only see icons for music and movies or something.  But if you click on the three dots next to it, you'll see a fuller list.  Mine has Audiobooks in there.  But just click the "Edit" and you can add it to the list of items that always show on that bar.

  • Where are the audiobooks on my iPad Air 2

I have a new iPad Air 2. What app do I look into to find my two audiobooks? The older iPad you opened Music and looked in the popup 'More'. This new iPad does not have that.

Have you looked in the iBooks app?  I would think they would be there based on this (assuming you purchased them in the iTunes Store):

  • I purchased 3 audiobooks on my iphone where are they on my ipad

Where are the audiobooks stored on my ipod?

Are you saying they should be there, but they're not? If so, you have to provide some info as to why you think they should be there and what you have, and what you did, to make that happen.
Or .... do you think they are there but can't find them? In that case, use the Spotlight Search (leftmost of the Home screens, if you will) to find them. Search for the movie's name.

  • Where are audiobooks on the ipad

I've synched purchased Audiobooks from the Itunes store by checking Audibooks on the Ipad and also placing the books in a playlist.  They are not found in the iBook App or in Music.  However, if I do a 'search', they show up with a book icon next to them??

I believe it is a bug that has developed with ISO 7.0.4 and audiobooks are not recognized by Music at all.
On the new ipad air there is not even a spot in music for audiobooks ( nor is there  a " more " ). So I thought that was the issue but I tried on my old ipad where there is an "more" and audiobook section in music but new downloads won't go there either.  I have several audiobooks that I downloaded before the new ISO and they are in Music on the old ipad
The audiobook files  can be found by searching the main page and they are playable. ( and they play iusing music)  but can't make them part of a playlist etc. When audiobooks are found using search they are labeled audiobooks and have the correct graphics etc.
In addition audiobooks are not being transferred and it may be same issue.
hooking up to PC desk top in iTunes the new audio books will transfer onto PC in right place.
    Anyone got a fix???

  • Where are audiobooks ios

I have recently updated my macbook air, and iphone to #5 to realise that audiobooks have dissapeared.
I went to the apple store only to be told they had no idea and was told to go to the express lane expresslane.apple.com which i did twice as after an hour on the phone they restored my audiobooks to itunes on my macbook air.
Problem is there is no way to retrieve audiobooks on my IOS devices iphone or ipad.... where are they
These paas were purchased over a year ago and surely if I purchased these and there now available on itunes on my mac after getting apple to restore these they must be availbale on my IOS devices.
I have gone to itunes on IOS however the audiobooks option has dissapeard when you go into more, they are also not available in downloads. ˇhe people at apple tell me to connect my phone to my macbook air and update them their however I thought all divices synced with icloud and im relunctant to sync on itunes as i want to keep the devices seperate.
    Any ideas?

They will only be where you put them.
You get one and only one download of audiobooks.
You should have kept them on your computer and they should have been included in your regular backup copy of your computer.

  • I paid for songs that are missing from my list where are they?

i paid for songs that are missing from my list where are they?

    Correct.
Audiobooks have never been available for redownlaod and have never been listed among the content that can be redownloaded.
As always, it is your responsibility to back up your content.

  • Pages 08 Template images -where are they saved?

I know Pages 08 does not have clip art but I like many of the pictures on the templates. I want to use some of the template images (like the cat.tiff or frog.tiff) on a blank document. Copying & pasting works but I'd rather be able to see all the template tiffs at once. Where are the template images(tiffs) located on my hard drive. Is there a specific iWork folder I can find them in?

    Welcome to Apple Discussions
The images are "buried" in each template which is buried in the Pages application. You can find them by Control- or right-clicking on the Pages application > Show package contents > Contents > Resources > Templates & then the folder for the template category you want. Then Control- or right-clicking on the template icon > Show package contents > Contents where you will find the actual images.
Or you can just copy & paste from an open template.
