HT4060 I need to charge my new ipad but I am not sure if I can damage the connection if I force it into the ipad. Is there a knack to getting it into the port?

i have a new ipad and stupid as it may sound I cannot physically plug the charger in to the ipad. Can I damage the ipad if I force the charger into the port?

Preferably your iTunes account, but it shouldn't really matter for getting homesharing turned on, as long as it's a valid ID.

As of this morning (5/19) I am unable to open a new tab, even after restarting my laptop. I have had firefox 3.6.13. I was planning on updating, but I am not sure if that will fix the problem, any suggestions?

I initially thought that my laptop froze up, but this was not the case. I do not want to have to uninstall, I am in school and have a lot of bookmarks that are vital to my learning, to lose those would be detrimental to my education. Can anyone help with this malfunction?

Please update Firefox to 3.6.17 a.s.a.p. the reason being that there was a security breach at Comodo which is an SSL certificate provider recently whereby a number of fraudulent certificates were inadvertently issued. These allow a hacker to impersonate any site including online banking and the Firefox version you're running at the moment will not warn you that the site is a fake. The fraudulent certificates were blacklisted in v3.6.17 and beyond.

I have a wiring plan, but I am not sure if its covered by the FIOS installation.

I have only ordered FIOS Internet but I am thinking about getting FIOS TV soon.
I want to install the Actiontec router next to my TV, so when I get the FIOS TV, I won't have to run a long wire between the router and the box. Also, it will be very close to the ONT (about 4-6 feet). However, my desktop is in another room, and I will need a CAT5 wire installed between my computer and the router. Will that be covered in the installation?
If you can think of another workaround, please let me know.

Hi american5abi,
When you get Fios TV service installed, the Actiontec router will be connected to your TV box through the coax in your house. If you have a working coax jack in the same room as your computer, then you would not need any extra cables run from the router to the TV. If not, then the tech can run a coax cable to the room with the computer from a coax splitter to provide that connection.
Connecting the router in the room with the computer should end up being a lot easier then having it next to the TV and running CAT5 to your computer.

I REALLY need help W/ my New Ip 4. Music Note Link, takes me right to the store, and keeps telling me, all my music has been downloaded, but I can't find it anywhere.... HELP!!!

I upgraded my Original Iphone to an Iphone 4, and am having issues syncing my Music,
It asked me, if I wanted to set up my phone as a NEW Iphone, or use the last sync. I figured, using the last sync would simply move everything over. NOT, so much. I am using Windows, Not Mac.
I uploaded the LATEST version of Itunes. And on occasion if I click the Music link button, and tap a bunch of things,.. It will take me to a page that says,.. Iphone or Shared Library. The only way I can get my music to show up, is via, tapping Shared Owner's Library. But it takes a zillion taps to get there, and 50% of the time doesn't show up at all. It says- repeatedly, Either, "You have no songs," etc. or when I tap, "Not on this device" it says, "all of your music has been downloaded to this device..." But HOW do I get to it?
On my OLD phone, all I had to do was tap the Music Note,... and my library showed up... That's all I want...
I put my music in the cloud, etc,.. I just thought that was a COPY. Am I needing some kind of CLOUD app on my phone? Or Can someone walk me thru this... I'd be eternally grateful. I'm ready to throw this thing out the window! HELLLPPP! PLEASE!!!

The reason, I included the annotation that I'd upgraded my Itunes, (On my Computer) is B/C in many forums - the very first question, *HELPERS* ask, is. "Do you have the latest version of Itunes downloaded on your computer." I wanted to knock out any obvious replies.
Now- "DO YOU have any idea,"... how your UNHELPFUL remarks, do absolutely nothing but hurt others that might not have the EXPERIENCE you have? How do you expect people to know things without asking questions? Whew! RUDE!!

I am looking to buy a new macbook. I am not sure whether to go for the Air, 13inch Retina or 15inch Retina.

I mainly use my current laptop for browsing the internet on my sofa, however I also want to be able to use photoshop and logic without a struggle.
My thinking so far is, MBA 13inch is portable and fast with good battery. rMBP 13 is more powerful but still portable. rMBP 15 has better graphics performance than the 13ich and might be worth the extra and sacrifice some portability.

If you're going to start using Photoshop, you'll get much better performance from the 15" rMBP's discrete video card. I wish that I had gone for the full 1GB card on my 15" non-Retina because, sometimes, the 512GB discrete card just isn't powerful enough. If you're looking at portability, then I'm assuming that you wouldn't even consider the non-Retina 15"? I would rule the Air out entirely, so you're left, in my opinion, on the differences between the 13" and the 15" rMBP - and in performance, the 15" rMBP just can't be matched by the 13" model.
You may get some differences of opinion here - were it me, I'd go for a non-Retina 15" since you can still add your own RAM and a SSD to it. That being said, it's nowhere near as portable as the 15" rMBP.

If you access the Crucial website, they have a program that will scan your MBP and let you know the RAM options that you have.
Best places to order RAM is Crucial and OWC.

I'd take it into my local APple store and have them look at it. There may be something wrong inside your device.
