My dtr plugged her phone in to link to itunes and it prompted an error message. Now itunes saying she has to restore the phone which she doesn't want to do as will lose all pics...the phone has a screen that will only prompt to reconnect to itunes even after turning off. What can I do to save what is in the phone? Please and thanks!
Reset, hold both home and power buttons until the iPhone begins to start, try this a few times if necessary. If still problem, you may have to just Restore your iPhone to get it working. In the future sync your iPhone with iTunes routinely and when it contains important data, iCloud when set correctly will do this for you continuously.

My assistive touch will work all over the screen just not my touch screen. why is this?
The assistive touch button i can click on and drag it all around the screen... however i can not use the touch screen underneath, such as unlocking. Please someone help me! Try:
- Resetting the iPod:
Reset iPod touch: Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restoring the iPod from backup
- Restoring the iPod to factery defaults/new iPod.
If iTunes does not see the iPod, try placing th iPod in recovery mode and then restoring. For recovery mode see.

My macbook pro will not load. The screen stays stuck at the apple loading signal.

I just downloaded OS Maverick and it said that Quicken 2007 would not run on my computer .... does this mean I will loose all the info I have put in on Quicken 2007? And also Word?

It appears that you are using the PowerPC (PPC) versions of Quicken 2007 and Microsoft Office 2004.

Try:

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

i have just bought a new laptop and have installed itunes onto it but i am worried that if i plug my iphone into it, that i will loose all my apps, contacts and photos!!

When you say installed iTunes I am guessing that its just the program and not your old library? in which case when you connect your iphone you will get a message warning you that you will be replacing the data on the iphone with the library on the new laptop i.e. an empty itunes.
If this is the case what you need to do is on your old laptop,
1: open itunes and go into preference/settings and go to advanced and make sure that consolidate and keep organised are checked.
2: Then go to file and click consolidate library.
3: close itunes and then go to start and open "My Music" folder.
4: Drag the iTunes folder out of My music and put it on an external drive or network the 2 laptops.
5: on the new laptop open "My Music" folder and drag out to the desk top the itunes folder
6: from the external drive or network drang and drop the old iTunes library into the "My Music" folder on the new laptop.
now close it and restart iTunes and your old library should be visable and when you connect your iphone it will identify its the correct library to sync with. -

Photos/videos in the iPhone's Camera Roll can and should be imported by your computer as with any other digital camera.
In addition, contacts and photos/videos in the iPhone's Camera Roll are included with the iPhone's backup. -
When I search a music artist in the itunes store and then click to view all albums the screen is blank. Why is itunes store not showing me all of the Albums?

What to do if the screen is stuck on the draft screen? I was writing a mail, saved it as draft, then later, was able to send it. However, the screen did not revert to the inbox page. The draft page seems to be hung or stucked. Safari and all others are working ok though.
I sent the draft to myself several times. That did not seem to be working, but when I opened Mail this morning, it has been sent all of the times and the Mail screen is no longer frozen.

Basically you will have to transfer its contents to the new computer and then restore the iPod and then resync. An iPod can only sync to one iTunes library.
