If you have transferred or Downloaded iPad Apps on your Mac you will find them in iTunes on your Mac....
Open iTunes and in iTunes on left hand corner where Music is return you should see a drop down button next to it and once you click on that drop down button you will see Movies/Tv Shows/Applications, you need to select Applications here and you will find all your downloaded iPad Applications. And as they are made only for iOs devices that cannot be run on your Mac.

I have the same problem - it is maddening. I rely on this iPad for work so this is not just an annoyance! The above solutions of changing the appleid on the device or on the website do not work.
The old email address no longer exists - I haven't used it in a year probably and I no longer have the account. I logged into the appleid website and there is no trace of the old email address so there is nothing that can be deleted or changed there. On the iPad there is no trace of the old email address so nothing can be deleted there either. I have updated the iPad software and the same problem comes right back. Every 2 seconds I am asked to log in using the old non-existent email. The device is currently useless.
The only recent change to anything was the addition of an Apple TV device, which was set up using the correct login and password.
Does anyone have any ideas? The iPad has been backed up to the iCloud so presumably it now won't recognize the current iCloud account? So restoring may notbe an option?

Well... Sounds like you actually have an iPhone 3G. It can't go past iOS 4.2.1
To check, look on the back and see if the info on the bottom are the same color of the Apple logo. If it is a darker shade... it's a 3G.
If there is no video record option in the camera app... it's a 3G.

I would suggest you to re-install the product, if you have a 64-bit operating system it will download both 64-bit software and 32-bit software.

How to download photo's from a iPhone 4 to a Microsoft laptop? Can somebody help, please?

My wife has an iPhone 4. He is completly filled with photo's. When I connect with the USB-cable to laptop and then choose to download the pictures, by the wizzard, he only downloads the .MOV files. I receive immediatly an error message for .JPG and .PNG types. With my own 4S I don't have this problem.

if you go to my computer on your computer, you should see the phone listed as apple iphone... right click on it and select import pictures

Normally, if the songs showed that it is purchased then it is probably already in your library. If not check out the article below to walk you through downloading your past purchases. You may also want to check to see if you have Automatic Downloads turned on so that way next time you can get your tracks without having to plug in and sync.

If it is asking for account details then it might just need you to confirm your account before it lets you proceed. Maybe the terms and conditions changed since last time or something like that. Try signing into your Apple account in iTunes on a computer first to check that. Then restart the phone and try again.

I just encountered this problem for the first time and stumbled upon this forum to find a solution. I played around with it a bit and it seems that if you slide your finger from the bottom up, you will come upon that new screen that will allow you to do various functions with your phone (put it in airport mode, lock, etc.), you can select your Airport from this screen and play your music wirelessly from your phone; at least this was my experience. As razmee209 said, you can use iTunes to install photos on your phone from wherever you have them stored. Where did you copy them to? Are you saying you selected them on you phone and just hit "copy"? That would only copy one at a time to the "clipboard" so that you can paste it somewhere else. As you copy each one, the previous one is deleted from the clipboard. This is not a storage area. Did you back them up on your computer or in iCloud?
