I have loaded itunes on my laptop, unistalled and reinstalled and keep getting "Apple Application support" error 2. Any suggestions?

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
The section Install missing components has advice on breaking down the iTunes installer into the individual .msi files which might prove useful if Apple Application Support won't install normally.

Hi Linc, thanks for this ... it is weird, we tried this previously, but we only did a restart.
This morning our Mac was 'off' even though we hadn't turned it off, (maybe a power outage) I restarted and ran the calpatch immediately, and it worked !!
it is embarrassing, because as a service engineer, I am always telling customers to restart and even power down completely before trying again.

if you have a 4s, then siri is automatically on the device, she is a native "app". you might have an iphone 4, and then you cannot get siri.

I have CS5 running on Windows but if I call an image into Photoshop it only displays on one view setting. Zoom in or out and I get a chequered grey background. Any suggestions how to rectify please?

3) have updated ALL other machines to current version Firefox - they are syncing fine, doesn't help this machine
Any suggestions?No. I cannot log into an account. I cannot create a new account. I cannot Sync anything. I get the same sequence of events on two different machines: 1) I enter my info and hit return, 2) the little circle spins like something is happening, 3) within 10-15 seconds a red bar appears that says "Working", and 4) within another 10-15 seconds the red bar reads "Unexpected Error."
This same sequence also happens on a BRAND NEW laptop I just brought home from work yesterday and installed Firefox for the first time.
Could this be something with my home network settings?
p.s. I am the question originator... somehow in the process of implementing previous suggestions my old profile was deleted

This HAS to be something with my network settings at home. I am now at the office where Sync is working just fine on my work desktop and the BRAND NEW work laptop where I was getting the error messages when I tried this at home.
Any suggestions on where to look? -
Dear all,
I have had problems with the internet connection with my IPhone 5. I have tried to restore the software to see if that would make a difference.
I have tried now for at least 10 times to restore the software. The phone is locked now in restore mode, and when I get to the end of the restore to verify with the server, i get a consistent unknown error message. Sometimes is says my phone cannot be found.
The phone has the connect to Itunes on the screen and cannot be used.
I am running out of patience now....need urgent help!!
What to do?Contact Apple support for warranty service.

Based on what you have said so far there is no way to answer your question. You must have a valid payment method on file with the iTunes store, even to download free apps. The payment method is used to verify who you are. The profile information in your iTunes account must match the information for the credit card you have entered. -

I have tried to restart my ipod. Shutting it down completely and restarting it.
I have reset my network connections. My internet is working because I am able to get on here on my computer.
HelpRestore your iPod and see if it helps.

I have tried to reinstall the i Tunes app 3 times. Just get message of i tunes was improperly intalled. In order to burn cds need to reinstall. What other things can i try its very frustrating.
