HT4061 IMEI number disappeared after restore

By mistake I restored Iphone and now IMEI number does not appear. Please advise how to recover or update IMEI number.

Hi kRoLLh,
I have not experienced this problem on the ZTE Open C. It's possible that there is some issue with your specific device.
I would suggest contacting ZTE directly for additional support. I would also suggest contacting your carrier, and verifying that your network settings are all configured correctly in your Firefox OS.
Thanks,

  • Backed up files partially disappear after restore (Windows Server 2008 R2 - Windows Server Backup)

    Dear all,
I am experiencing a problem with "Windows Server 2008 R2", using Windows Server Backup.
    Here's my setup:
    Server: RAID 5 Disk setup
    Backup:
By using Windows Server Backup (within Windows Server 2008 R2), C: and D: were fully backed up, with "System State" and "Baremetal Recovery" options selected. Backup went okay without any errors.
    Restore:
By using Windows Recovery Environment  (booted from Windows Server DVD), C: and D: were fully restored to the original partitions with "System Recovery" option found within Windows RE (without re-formatting partitions during restore). Restore
went OK without any errors. Rebooted, and system has been running fine.
    Problem:
After the restore, the system itself seems running OK; no BSOD, no crash, no visible errors.
However, our client insisted some files (around 6 to 7) which are related to the propriety software has "disappeared" right after System Recovery.
    Question:
Since Windows Server Backup is using "Volume Shadow Copy" technology which enables "live backup" of the running system, is it possible that some files will disappear (=restore error) after
    System Recovery?
I cannot really find any errors or warnings related to Windows Server Backup in the event log, through. No Windows-backup errors. No VSS errors, too.
Do anybody have experienced this kind of problem in the past?  Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your reply, Ms. Mandy.
To make things clear, let me explain to you briefly:
    1. The "missing data" was backed up with "full system backup".
    2. After a system restore from the above backup image, as you mentioned, partitions has been overwritten with the partions' backup data in the Backup Data Set taken by Windows Server Backup. No error with backup. No error after restore, and reboot - system
    has been running fine.
    3. Although there was a report that the affected files(about 7 java exectables) were missing after the above restore operation, other aspect of system was running fine at the time of the report.
    4. I have checked the original backup data set - and voila, there ARE files which seems to gone after restore.
    5. When I used Windows Server Backup "on" Windows Server 2008 R2 normal environment (= NOT Recovery environment from DVD) and selectd ONLY these affected files to restore, these files could be RESTORED successfully, without any errors. SO... data
    was property backed up.
    > The recovery will overwrite the partitions so files created after the backup point will be missing.
I understand, and this is not the case this time, because the affected files are already present in the backup data set (= I have mounted the backup data as VHD, and I could clearly see them present in the mounted VHD file)
Plus, these files are completely restoreable via "selective file restore" in Windows Server Backup.
    Things I want to know/confirm:
    > The recovery will overwrite the partitions
If I understand this correctly, in case that the files in question are already present in the backup data set, these files SHOULD be restored after full system restore, right? (If these files could not be restored, Windows Server Backup SHOULD show some errors.)
What do you think, Ms. Mandy? :)

  • Carrier is still searching without sim and imei number disappeared.

IMEI number of my iphone 5S disappeared and carrier shows searching sign without sim. what to do now?

No. Call Apple Care and give them the serial number. They may be able to tell you who it is locked to.

  • HT4061 IMEI number and serial number not recognised

    Hey,
So I just bought an iphone 5 but the camera did not work so I had to get it replaced a week or so ago. Now apple support does not recognize my IMEI number or serial number, saying that I am not covered with apple support and i cannot even schedule a phone call because it says that these numbers don't exist or that they are too old to be covered for apple support or something weird. Does anyone know what could be wrong?
    Thanks!

I bought the phone off of the online apple store and when it did not work I did the express replacement (which was covered under my apple care) but now with the new phone its saying that these numbers do not exist or that apple coverage cannot cover products that were made five years ago.

  • HT4061 IMEI number from "Part Number"??

Can I retrieve an IMEI number from the "Part Number" given to me on the receipt from an iPhone 5 Flat Rate Repair? I have lost the phone since the repair and need a way to get the IMEI number for the insurance.

Not from the part number, no. That same number would apply to millions of other iPhones as well. If you have the serial number, though, it's possible that Apple or your cell carrier could give you the IMEI number. It will also be visible in iTunes, if you ever backed up your iPhone to your computer. Launch iTunes, go to the Preferences, select Devices, and hover your cursor over the backup file for the iPod. That should show you the serial and IMEI number.
    Regards.

  • HT4061 IMEI NUMBER

Can I find the IMEI number of my iphone 4s on the inside of my phone, ie, where the battery is situated?

You can see details about your phone in Settings/General/Info, or connect to iTunes on your computer, go to Edit/Preferences/Devices and point the mouse over the backup of your phone. A small window will give you all the info.
    Also described here:
iPhone: Locating the serial number, IMEI, ICCID, or MEID
The battery can't be changed by the user, and opening the phone will void the warranty. Only Apple support or Apple service providers can replace the battery.

  • Espn radio app disappeared after restore

I had to restore my iphone because it had nearly 5GB of "other" files. All my purchased apps disappeared, including espn radio. When I try to sync apps, itunes tells me this computer is not authorized for this app, even after I go to Store and Authorize this computer. Huh??? I'd rather not buy the app again if I don't have to.

Delete the app then restore it from iCloud it worked fine for me.

  • Weather info. in pulldown menu disappeared after restoring?

after I restored my ipad, the weather information disappeared. how to get it back?

The Weather app right below WATCH ABC is the app that I'm talking about.
But did you do both things that I suggested? If you did both things, are you sure that you are pulling down far enough on the notification window?
    Try this as well.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

  • My new Zte Open c IMEI is disappeared after update.

Hello, I try to make a manual update on my Zte Open C following the instructions you provide here ( https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Firefox_OS/Developer_phone_guide/ZTE_OPEN_C ). Everything appear to be ok until the phone was rebooted(at 98% of the status bar). The phone boot perfectly but the upgrade tool alert me that the operation was unsuccessful. At that point I thought it was just a matter of recognizing the phone from the computer. However it was not, in fact, when I tried to insert the sim card I noticed that the phone could no longer connect to 3G networks. Looking into the details of the phone, I noticed that my IMEI was set to 0. Is there any way to restore my original IMEI?

  • Apps disappeared after Restore

Recently I had a problem with iPhone which went into Recovery mode and I had to restore iPhone back to factory settings which I did. I now find that my apps which I paid for are not on iPhone . How do I get them back on iPhone? Help please.

All 3rd party apps on your iPhone should be available in your iTunes library on your computer. If not - all apps that were on your iPhone were downloaded with your iPhone and this means you don't have Sync Apps selected under the Apps tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes. When this is selected and it should be, after downloading an app with your iPhone the app will be copied to your iTunes library the first time you sync your iPhone with iTunes after doing so. This also allows for installing and removing apps on your iPhone via the iTunes sync process.
Re-download the apps with iTunes on your computer and you won't be charged again for a purchased app as long as you use the same iTunes account to re-download an app that was used to purchase the app originally.
Follow this by selecting Sync Apps under the Apps tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes and selecting the apps in the window below that you want installed on your iPhone followed by a sync.

  • App disappears after restore finished

I was unable to download iPad apps from iTunes onto my iPad 2, so I did a restore. During the restore process the apps in questions loaded during the sync. As soon as the restore sync finished they disappeared from the iPad. However, they still show up on the App List in Settings.

That is weird - especially if they show up in apps list in settings on the iPad. Try to sync them again. Make sure that you have the apps checked/selected to sync when you are connected to iTunes. Make sure that the sync apps heading is checked as well.
If this still does not work, you can download the apps again in the purchased tab of the app store as long as you use the same ID that you originally bought the apps with. Maybe that will work.

  • Inconsistent Number Request After Restore

    Good Morning,
I am working a Basis, yesterday I make a restore in our Development server. We restore the bank and the application of the day 05/04/2010 (more recent).
When we verify STMS, apparently is OK.
We create a request of empty "test" and I make a trasport test her for QAS and afterwards for PRD. When this was created, she takes over one number of request already existing in the other two ambient, thus replacing the date and cofile.
    Could help me?
    Thank you very much

After the copyback you can run this command to fix the transport number issue. And its always good to capture the last transport number for the system that is being overwritten so that when you are defining the new number you know what the last value was and you don't run into inconsistent numbers.
    UPDATE SAPSR3.E070L set TRKORR='SIDK900xxx';
    Hope this helps.

  • Apps disappeared after restored new iphone 4 from back up

I just restored my new iphone 4 from my last 3GS back up, and all of my apps are gone! The folders I created are there, as is my 'wallpaper' and my address book, but none of my old apps.
I had to transfer the back up file (which took FOREVER) from my Mac to my PC laptop, because my Mac is running 10.4.11 and therefore work work with iphone 4. Updating the Mac to 10.6 is not an option b/c it's got a powerpc processor, and rather than shell out 125 bones for Leopard, I am going to replace the Mac (when I can afford to do so).
So does anyone have any idea why my apps didn't make it onto the new phone? Does it have to do with the fact that the phone was synced with the itunes library on my Mac? I will need to sync it to the Itunes library on the PC from now on(which is empty at the moment). Itunes asked if I wanted to sync it with this new library, but seems to suggest that doing that would wipe the phone. I can usually find the guidance I need through a search, but as my situation is a little complicated, I've been unable to find anything related to my specific problem. Any advice about how to rescue my apps would be most appreciated.

I just had this happen yesterday! Ggggggrrrrr. I was trying to update a couple apps on my iPhone 4, and a message kept popping up saying “Can’t connect to iTunes”. After about 3 tries I thought maybe I just needed to reboot the phone.
After the reboot and my iPhone turned back on, there were no more folders (except for one labeled ‘Utilities’ with about 4 apps in it on my home screen), and I had 11 pages of apps!
All my apps were not visible because I have more than can fit on 11 pages, so I had to wait until I got home and synced with iTunes, then all my apps were visible.
I had to manually recreate all my folders. I certainly hope Apple fixes this bug before it happens again – it’s beyond annoying!!

  • IPhone summary disappeared after restore, no music! Please help! :(

Hello, I tried to update my iTunes software last night and the screen on my iPhone froze. I eventually had to restore the iPhone to the factory settings and chose to use the data from my last backup, but now every time I connect the phone to my PC and iTunes opens, there's no summary screen, just a box with the option  to restore factory settings again, saying "This computer has previously been synced with an iPhone or another iOS device. Set up as new iPhone/Restore from backup of (my iPhone)."
My contacts, messages etc are all on my phone but there's no music at all, and without a summary box can't add this on....please help, I'm useless with this!!

Your running Windows, right? (This is the Mac user section, that's why I asked)
Ok, first: Take a deep breath.
Question: You still have your iTunes folder? If "yes", make a backup (find a free* backup program that has a restore option).
    Uninstall iTunes.
Download a new version of iTunes. Install.
Use your backup program to restore your backed up files
*choose one from here (sorry can't say which one):

  • How do i retrieve bookmarks when they disappear after restore

WHEN EVER I DO A SYSTEM RESTORE ON MY COMPUTER: WHEN I REOPEN FIRE FOX---ALL OF MY HISTORY IS GONE----AND ALL OF MY BOOKMARKS ARE GONE AS WELL !!! THIS REALLY SUCKS----IS THERE ANYWAY TO RESTORE THEM ????????

What reason do you have to use System Restore that often?
Using System Restore can cause your Firefox installation to get corrupted because not all files are restored (only files in a white-list), so be cautious with using System Restore.
*You may lose data in the Firefox profile folder like .js and .ini and .html files.
*You may need to (re)install software that was affected.
In case you need to reinstall Firefox then you need to delete the Firefox program folder before reinstalling to make sure that all files get replaced.
