HI is this do do with 'imessage' and if so how do i remove myself now that i dont have an iphone

By this, I'm assuming that you switched to a new phone which is not an iPhone.
Before you sold your old iPhone, did you remember to sign out of iMessage? Since iMessage still has your phone number and account registered, I will bet not, so the Apple iMessage servers are trying to hold the messages for you to re-connect your iPhone to the network to get your queued messages.
If you still have the iPhone, go back to it and disable iMessage and sign out of your AppleID. If you don't have the device any longer, you may be able to call Apple Care and explain to them what you did and they might be able to reset your link to iMessage for you.

No. Apple and this forum cannot locate the iPhone for you.
You have to do it yourself:
1. Is Find My iPhone setup in iPhone?
2. Does your iPhone has Internet access (using Wi-Fi/Cellular)?
If both above are there, you might be able to locate it:

I lost my iphone and activated my number with an old phone. Problem is people with iphones are now sending me blank texts. How do I fix this?

I had an iPhone 4s but left it on my car and drove off. Now I have activated a temporary phone my mom had on hand (Lotus) while I save up for a new iPhone.
Is there a list out there in cyber space somewhere that lists all the iPhone numbers because now people who have iPhones send me blank text messages? I have been able to isolate this down to only happening when they send me an "iMessage" but I don`t understand why I keep getting them? Even people I had never texted with before losing my phone are sending me these blank messages. How do I fix this?

If you registered you iPhone with Apple you may want to try unregistering it by:
Go to: https://supportprofile.apple.com/MySupportProfile.do
Log in if not already logged in.
Click on ">" to the right of the phone listing
Click "unregister"
This may help unregister you iPhone with the iMessage server, allowing texts sent to you from iPhones to be sent as normal SMS/MMS rather than iMessages.

I see that you are having IMessage problems. Some of the problems might be:
- Your friends IMessage is not activated (you have to activiate it with your apple id)
- Your IMessage is not activated

I reply through the gmail app on my phone and it's been working out fine for the past year. The other day I was experimenting with iMessage on my MacBook and i responded to a few messages from people with iPhones through my MacBook. I didn't like it so I logged out because suddenly I wasnt getting e-mailed those messages like I was before. Now that I'm logged out I can recieve any messages and a friend says that it auto responds with "this person can't be reached with iMessage at this time"

yes other people can send an email to me through their text message app on their iphones and it works fine. theres just one person who cannot and she lives in a different state. i did tell her to delete the entire thread of messages that i have with her but i'm not sure if she did it correctly and may still be replying to a message that i sent through iMessage days ago. i just sent her a message about turning on her MMS. i am also asking her to send the messages to a completely different address that she doesnt have in her phonebook so hopefully that will work.

Did you try a reset, hold the power button and home button until you see the apple then let go? Did you try to restore as new in iTunes on your computer?

Speak with an AppleCare advisor either over the phone or by chat.
They will remove your phone number from the iMessage system. That's it! Otherwise after 45 days your phone nymber will automatically be removed from the system. Now or later, it's your choice.

Can I Turn off iMessage in a group text with multiple people with different devices? There's 1 person in the group text that doesn't use iPhone anymore and they can't see any messages that are sent unless we send as regular text individually.

Is there a way to turn off iMessage for a group text that includes multiple people with different non-apple devices? When a message is sent, only the iPhone users can see the iMessage. Those without them cannot see the texts unless we send individual Text Messages or turn off iMessage completely.

Please can someone help. Ive spoken to Vodafone countless times and nothing they tell me works. I've changed from iphone to android now none of my friends with an iphone can message me. My number still thinks it's an iphone that can receive imessage so there messages to me fail. I've turned off imesssge on my old iphone and unregistered my handset with apple. Ive had my friends completely delete me off their phone's and re add me but nothing works. Plesse please help someone.

These are two possible approaches that will normally work to move an existing library to a new computer.
Method 1
Backup the library with this User Tip.
Deauthorize the old computer if you no longer want to access protected content on it.
Restore the backup to your new computer using the same tool used to back it up.
Keep your backup up-to-date in future.
Method 2
Connect the two computers to the same network. Share your <User's Music> folder from the old computer and copy the entire iTunes library folder into the <User's Music> folder on the new one. Again, deauthorize the old computer if no longer required.
Both methods should give the new computer a working clone of the library that was on the old one. As far as iTunes is concerned this is still the "home" library for your devices so you shouldn't have any issues with iTunes wanting to erase and reload.
I'd recommend method 1 since it establishes an ongoing backup for your library.
Note if you have iOS devices and haven't moved your contacts and calendar items across then you should create one dummy entry of each in your new profile and iTunes should merge the existing data from the device.
If your media folder has been split out from the main iTunes folder you may need to do some preparatory work to make it easier to move. See make a split library portable.
Should you be in the unfortunate position where you are no longer able to access your original library or a backup then then see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device for advice on how to set up your devices with a new library with the maximum preservation of data.
