In Safari, tap the action icon next to the URL field - the icon that looks like a square with the arrow pointing up - then select Bookmark from the pop up window, then select Favorites as the location and save it in Favorites.

Just need to get site looking right in IE6. Help please.

I am designing a new site. I have tested it in IE7, FF, Opera
and Safari. All looks fine.
In IE6 however I have a problem with my LeftMenu background
image not lining up properly with the UL background image. It is
like IE6 is not picking up the top margin of 4px from my TopList
and the TopList and Rightlist positionings are out in IE6.
To make the LeftMenu background image appear correct in IE6 I
have to add top-padding of 4px to my TopList. Doing this, however
puts the positioning out in all the other browsers.
I just need to get IE6 to display correctly and then I will
be happy! Any ideas anyone? The page does validate.

That can be a solution. Sometimes it's enough to use only
some specially adjusted styles for IE, f.i. when you need
'min-height' for a div-tag (IE doesn't understand that) you can
place css for 'height' for the same div-tag in the stylesheet for
IE.
You can call a stylesheet for IE like this, in the head
section of your page place this code:
<link href="your-basic-stylesheet.css" rel="stylesheet"
type="text/css" />

Just need help getting contacts after upgrade

someone mentioned going to back up done before the upgrade. How do you access that? i did the back up a week ago and did another before upgrading this afternoon. I lost all my apps but was able to figure out how to get them back and it didn't involve going to a backup. The speed is quicker than before I just need help with getting my contacts back. anyone able to help me out on this matter?

All your contacts should be in whatever PC program you have been syncing them with - Outlook 2003/2007 or Windows Address Book.

If your contacts are no longer on your PC, just restore them from your most recent PC backup.

I just need to get my licenses again, adobe was taken off of laptop

The silent/ringer switch and the volume control buttons stopped working, how can I fix this or do I just need to get a new phone?

One day I relalized that the silent/ringer switch on my iPhone 4 stopped working. My phone is permently silent and I can't turn the ringer on. The speakers still work so they aren't the problem. Also, the volume controls on the side don't work either. Is this problem fixable or do I need to get a new phone?

you can try the restore first to make sure it is nothing software related. makesure to back up information and restore as new. after that it is hardware if your with in the limited hardware warranty and can be replaced for free if you are not then it can be replaced for 149$ if it is a iphone 4 or lower

- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

How can I get someone to talk me through a problem?

I tried syncing iPad on computer and it changed all my apps & worse, I can't seem to get the book I was reading back on pad. Can anyone help? I'm definitely computer/iPad challenged!

This is how you set your sync preferences for anything that you want to sync to your iPad. This uses apps as the example but this is the way that you can select all content to sync to your device.
"Click on" in the instructions below means to put a "tick" in the boxes next to the names of the apps in the apps list.
Connect the iPad to the Mac and launch iTunes.
Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
Click on the Apps Tab on the right.
Click on all of the apps that you want to sync,
Click on the Sync Apps Heading.
Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes
You can go into the Music tab, the Photos tab, Movies, books and so on and select all of the content that you want to sync, just like you did here. You can make all of your selections in all of the different tabs in iTunes and then Click on Apply when you are finally ready to sync the device.
You also have the option of turning off auto sync if you like so that you can make the selections or make changes every time that you sync your iPad. Launch iTunes and go to iTunes>Preferences>Devices and check the box at the bottom - Prevent iPods, iPhones and iPads from syncing automatically. Click OK and quit iTunes. Then connect the iPad, launch iTunes and go through the priced up outlined above.
If you prefer to leave auto sync turned on, you can still go back and make the changes as described above, after the iPad auto syncs.

Data Model for EM....Just need to get data.

Hi guys,
Does Oracle provide a data model for EM? What we are trying to do is retrieve some information that is stored in the repository. ie: CPU usage, Disk Usage, etc, etc...
I know we can get this info from doing some shell scripts as well as querying the DB, but we wanted to get this data directly from the repository as we feel it covers all the area's we need to capture our Capacity and Performance planning metrics.
Any suggestions would be helpful, or if you understand what I am trying to acheive, then hit me up with a way to get this.

However the MIDP is returning Exception message indicating that it expects the web server to communicate with HTTP1.0 (as this is the language used by the wireless toolkit in the development environment.

Presumably this means that your IPhone has had some contact with water, regardless of what is visible. Your iPhone is very likely damaged (probably "completely broken", as you said).
Take it to an Apple Store or Authorized Apple Repair Center and find out what they suggest.

The javac program is not in your system path. My recommendation is to 1) install a more recent version of Java, and 2) follow the instructions (to the letter) here: Your First Cup of Java

HT5824 My iPad has been stolen. I need the serial number to report it to the authorities. I dont have the box it came in or the receipt and its not on my itunes on the computer because I didnt use it or music, just pictures. Can someone please help???

My iPad has been stolen. Someone broke into my house on Tuesday. I have already tried locking it through icloud. I have reported this to the authorities but they cannot do much unless I give them the serial number to the iPad. With the serial number they can put it into a database and send that inormation to pawn shops, so i the theie tries to pawn it, the pawn shop employeee can convscate the iPad and hand it over to the authorites. Can someone please help??? btw, some words are misspelled becasue the letter that comes ater the letter E, doesnt work on my keybord.
