I am unable to activate my iphone I only view my IMEI and ICCID states unknown
I have googled it. In the early days of the 3GS there were some models with a baseband chip which at that time could not be rewritten so the baseband could not be changed. Those days are long passed.
I am NOT and have NEVER been a "fan" of jailbreaking and I resent your saying so. I do not think jailbreaking is a greater crime that aggravated assault like you and some others seem to and I don't see anything wrong with helping people come back from the dark side. But I also don't believe the lies in "Reerfer Madness" and don't believe that the same misinformation should be repeated here.
Any iPhone that has been jailbroken, hacked, or downgraded will NOT cause a hardware failure. Using Haxies on OS X will not cause a HARDWARE failure. It MAY cause a false message of the ICCID, as will some of the unreliable sites you can go to and check these things. Again, by far the largest cause I've seen for ICCID failure, both personally and checking Google is caused by water damage.
